I'm on the bust-ier side and I was able to get away with a sticky bra comfortably all night. The waist band has no give but it fit me perfectly and I loved that the high slit let me show off some leg! Comfortable to walk, sit, and dance in as well. The bf loved it and I will 100% rent this again!!

The sizing of this dress was so odd! The medium felt like a small and the large felt like an XL! I ended up wearing the large because I really wanted this to work for my BFF's nautical-themed bachelorette party. You can see in my photo that the top was way too big. The length ended up awkward as well. The slit was high on both dresses so be mindful of how you sit, walk, and stand up! Wore it, but would not rent again.

The dress fits me well. I was a bit worried about the sizing when I bought it because other reviews said it runs small. I'm 5'1, 97lb, 32/24/33. It turns out to be perfect. The color is not as bright as the picture though.

This dress was perfect for derby day with my big sun hat. Exactly as described and fit true to size. Only things to be aware of is the slit in the front goes up pretty high, I wouldn't recommend wearing on a windy day. The top has plenty of room for someone more busty than me, but didn't gap on the sides when wearing it. Would rent again!

The dress was perfect for our Derby Days event... I had read the reviews, and took the comments about the slit with a grain of salt. Until I had the dress on I didn't appreciate the comments. The slit is high and almost revealing when you sit down. So renter beware. Otherwise, the dress was great!

This dress is beautiful and I was able to wear it a few times - out to dinner in the Hamptons and to a wedding. I felt so chic in it! Things to be mindful of: -it's almost impossible to get this dress on by yourself. Tricky buttons in the back with elastic loops. -the slit is very high. It was hard to sit down in this dress without flashing people. Not possible to wear normal shapewear with it because of that.

I wore this on a day trip to Montauk (NY) and I got a ton of compliments.... it can go from being dressy (which is what I originally thought it to be) to being a nice, hamptons/nautical day dress with a pair of sandals (how I wore it). I did not have to wear a bra, my chest was held in on top so you couldn't tell- huge bonus. The slit goes up pretty high on your leg so it makes up for the fact that the dress is long and loose. It was tight on my ribs a bit where it goes from the top to the skirt, but I could completely breathe and move around. (If back-fat is a concern of yours you my want to consider getting a size up as a back up just in case.) It is hard ordering clothes sometimes being petite but also having a chest, either XS are too tight on top or they are not tight enough on my waist and give me no shape - this dress was PERFECT.

This dress was very comfortable and cute for an outdoor event. The slit is high but a little fashion tape was all it needed. I really felt supported in the front and loved the open back.

I rented this dress for a friends bachelorette weekend and felt beyond confident in it. Perfect dress for a night out by the shore! As other reviewers have pointed out, the slit is a little aggressive. With a strategically placed safety pin and some careful leg placement I was good to go!

Loved this dress but use double sided tape to ensure the slit doesn't come up too high! Otherwise loved.

I wore this to a daytime formal engagement party. The top was very flattering and easy to wear the bottom was a little dicey with the high slit but I just pinned to make sure a gust of wind wouldn't cause a wardrobe malfunction.

I'm usually xs but it was a little tight around ribs. Used small and fit great. Like everyone else I pinned it to keep it closed.

I rented this dress for my friend's engagement party. The party was outdoors and the material was just right for a summer night in July. As a warning, this dress does have a slip. I bought some safety pins to fix that issue. I wore sticky boobs with the bra and loved the fit. Other than that, I loved this dress. I am on the shorter side however I didn't feel like this dress shrank me. I received plenty of compliments and I wore a pair of nude booties with it. Overall I highly recommend this dress and wished I owned it.

A little tight around the waist, and is designed to be loose around the bust but otherwise was great. The slit is definitely very high and you can occasionally see underwear in too much wind. Had to ditch for a wedding since it was too sexy, but awesome for a number of parties!

This dress is beautiful! The slit is definitely high, but can be remedied by a safety pin and conscious sitting/dancing. I chose not to wear a bra with this, but I did need to wear nipple covers as the top fabric is a little thin. I'm 5'3/120 lbs/DD cup and the small fit fine. I actually sized down for my backup and the XS fit, but was tight and I didn't want to worry about having to suck in all night, so I went with the S. The fabric can wrinkle, so just be aware of making sure it's not creased when storing it before wearing.

Loved this dress! It was close to being to small and I could probably have worn the medium but it was super hot. I'm tall so when I sat down I definitely needed to be careful not to show my underwear with the high slit. I got lots of compliments on this sexy, fun, fashionable dress!

A nice twist on a striped dress! The contrasting striped fabrics, the neckline and slit make the dress fun and unique. I would recommend buying some fashion tape as the slit does go pretty high. Because the fabric has no stretch I would definitely size up, however , horizontal striped make it incredibly flattering. Perfect for a summer wedding!

Loved it there are no cons. I love the slit.. wear full coverage panties though lol! Strapless or no bra! I have no bra and you can't tell. Love love!! Such a neat dress and my boobs are 32ddd+ and I usually wear a 4. This was fantastic . Material is great.

I loved this dress!! The neckline, asymmetrical slit, and pattern are extremely flattering and unique. Everyone at Steeplechase loves its It's the perfect dress to wear with your hair up! I'd definitely grab fashion tape to tape the slit and side of the dress to avoid a mishap especially if you wear the dress outside for a wedding or outdoor event.

This dress is super cute i think would be adorable for a boat party! It has a high slip so be careful bc it is a little higher then i would have likes but besides that it was super cute! Fun for a nice day in the hamptons!

So the dress was amazing!! I wanted to go braless, but I didn't have stickies (I suggest going braless if you have them on hand or picking some up). The dress was easy to move in and I received so many compliments. HOWEVER, like many others said, this dress is terrible to sit in, the slit is far too high!! I was so glad I brought a sweater with me to the wedding or I would have given everyone a show!! I didn't pin it, but that is an option. Good luck and definitely try this dress!!

I just think if you have boobs and hide all of them then you run the risk of looking fat (especially when you don't have toned athletic arms like me) I'm 5.4 &1/2 in. and fluctuate between 130 and 140 regularly (I have a D chest and wear a 6 in most jeans and a 4-6 in most dresses from RTR). It was still cute tho. The slit was really high though, so if you walk around a lot in it (like I did) then you run the risk of it shifting around and exposing yourself (I know I did twice for sure)

I got a medium in this dress and Lordy am I glad I didn't order the small. I'm athletic shaped and am usually a 4/6 in dresses, but this dress fit so strange. It was super tight in the waist band and as other reviewers noted you have to pin the slit closed. It wasn't the best choice for a horse race...I had trouble playing corn hole and sitting down. At the end of the day I unzipped the back a little just to give me some more breathing room. I'd say this dress is probably made for someone tall and very skinny and small wasted based on the sizing.

I went up to the medium in this dress because the waist was a bit tight across my ribs. I was able to go braless, which was nice since the back is slightly open and would have shown a strapless bra. I loved the look and neckline of the dress. The lining did show at the slit even after ironing, but I don't think many people noticed.

I loved the dress! But the slit is really high, so it was a little nerve racking at times- especially in the wind. But still totally worth it! I ordered a medium and a large. I am usually a medium. The medium fit perfectly but the slit was a little too high and would show too much. I tried a safety pin from what I had read on other reviews but I couldn't get it to lay right. I tried on the large which was big and not as fitted around my waist but the slit was the perfect length. I ended up going with the large and received compliments all night! It fit me a little weird though it was tight in the waist but loose on the top, and I have larger shoulders so that's unusual. The slit was a kind of high as mentioned in other reviews so beware, maybe bring a safety pin. Over all it was a nice dress, but not my favorite that I've rented from here.

I got so many compliments on this dress! The slit was very high, as expected after reading previous posts. I wore it to an engagement party for a wedding I am in. Only issue, one of the buttons was broken on the back and it was a little awkward looking. I'm 5"9 and weigh 155 lbs and wore the medium. The neckline and tied bow were sexy and so different!!
