I ordered two sizes but did not need to size up. The dress does have more of an empire waist line. Loved the bright red color - so much more interesting than a typical little black dress! I love the lacy neckline - must wear a strapless bra.

Super cute dress, and fits true to size. However, if you are bigger in the chest consider sizing up as there is no stretch. Should wear it with a strapless bra or even bra less. I'm short so this fit right below my knee.

(Excuse my disgusting bathroom!) I wore this to an outdoor mehendi party and it was perfect - it definitely required a strapless bra but was true to size, bright, comfortable, and worked well.

I didn't get to use it but it fitted me perfectly. Is more for a party than it is for everyday.

I love the dress cut and color and a coworker complimented it. However the top was a bit itchy but not so much so that it was on wearable. I did return it after just one wear. However I would rent again and recommend renting for work, weekends, or a casual date night.

It is a cute dress and fit me, but the way the fabric hangs emphasizes a tummy. If you didn’t have a tummy you might still look like you had one, the way this wears. It would be cute for someone who is pregnant but I felt frumpy so I didn’t end up wearing it.

I wanted to love this dress because the color and lace are so fun, but the overall cut was not flattering on my hourglass shape. I guess I didn't realize this dress is more of an empire waist that hit right under my busy and flared out. This dress was also longer than I anticipated; I'm 5'5" and it was below my knees. Those two things combined made me look bigger than I am in this dress. I would size down to the L, but I'm not sure it would fit in the chest. I'm a 38DD at Soma and the XL was very close to fitting perfectly in the bust. Pretty dress, but not sure I'd try again in another size.

Think about this dress is amazing. I wish I could've worn it. If you are a busty girl like me this may not be the address for you it was very tight around my chest and I had a very hard time zipping it up. And vivid the soft lace give a very fun crocheted look

I read other reviews that this ran small so I ordered 2XR but it was too big. I usually wear 16. The dress was nice but just didn't fit.
