Great fit although if you have any chest or shoulders you'll want to size a bit up. Both 0 and 2 fit in the body but 0 was tight up top. One of the straps clasps right on the ahoulder it was kind of itchy but evetually you ignore it. Otjerwise great dress, good material, comfortable, not too long, great color.

I bought this as my bridesmaid dress for a friend's wedding and it was absolutely stunning for a the formal affair (plus comfy!) I was expecting it to be more of a champagne color to match with the wedding but it is more gold than it appears. Still, will try to wear it any chance I get to go to a black-tie event!

I loved this dress. I rented for a gala fundraiser... the fabric is stretchy and comfortable, the high neck added interest and the slit added some sass. The material is a woven fabric with lots of sparkle in person without being glittery. I'm 5' 8" and wore 3" heels with this dress in the regular length and it was perfect! Would definitely recommend.

Loved the cut of the dress! It's a bit challenging to get in by yourself and you can't wear a bra. I received a ton of compliments and the color was more of a gold than a metallic. Statement earnings and a bracelet completed the look.

I got soooooo many compliments for this dress. The groomsmen even voted me best dressed at the wedding. It is super light and not tight at all. I would maybe prefer it to be a little tighter. It was also incredibly long so be careful!

It was long, but I had read that in reviews, I'm not a fan of heels in general, especially not while working, so I just wore very low platform formal sandals. When I walked you would never know, it only shows while standing still, as in this photo. So many compliments as in all my RTR dresses! They have never let me down!

My typical size is between a 6R and 8R. Although the 6 fit (it was tight), I wore the 8. The 8 fit fine, but it was too long. I am 5 4 1/2, and I was constantly holding the dress as it was getting caught on my heels. In hindsight, I should have worn the 6. Otherwise, the dress was beautiful and I received a lot of compliments on it. One reason I chose this dress was that it did not require a bra (the padding in the dress worked fine for me). I will definitely use Rent the Runway again!!!!

The fit of this dress was amazing. Hugged me in all the right places and the fabric was stretchy and very comfortable. Very sparkly too, which I loved!! :) Definitely helped me stand out for the black tie wedding! Only negative was that it was SO LONG. I am 5' 7" (by no means a short person) and I would say that it was about 4 inches too long. I had about 2" heels and even with that I had to use hemming tape, which ended up working really well so it wasn't an issue.

The dress was amazing and I got many compliments through the night. It was a very light and form fitting material that was extremely flattering. The dress was a bit long, but I was able to do a blind hem stitch which I took out at the end of the night, as you can not make a permanent change to the actual dress. I wore the 0R and it fit perfectly. I fell in love with the dress and did not want to return it at all!!! I would highly recommend anyone to wear this dress.

I wore this to a formal military ball. The color was perfect to go with my husband's dress uniform. The dress is a silvery gold color. I paired it with bright blue shoes! I'm 5'2" and it was a little long with 3 inch heels, but would have been perfect with a little higher heeled shoes. It is very light and comfortable. I did have to wear sticky boobs because of the open back. Overall, I loved this dress, and it was perfect for the occasion!

I am usually an 8R but I wore the 10R because the criss cross of the straps at neck were very tight on me in the 8R. I'm more of an athletic build in my shoulders, and I'm a 36 DD so the 10R felt better for me up top. This dress has a beautiful slit up the left side. The material has stretch to it. You will get compliments all night in this stunning dress!!

This gown is so beautiful and comfortable, and fits true to size. I wore it to a Gala, and I received compliments all night! Only problem is that it is a little long -- I am 5'3" and wore 3.75" heels, and it still dragged on the floor. But it wasn't a problem, and I would still highly recommend this dress if you want to feel like a movie star!

Loved this dress! It is form fitting, but not too tight. Has a good amount of stretch. The color is what I would call more of a champagne than silver. Very nice. No need for a bra with the built in pads and the support the top provided. I wore 3 inch heels and the regular length worked well, even for dancing. I received lots of compliments.

I wore this to the Oscars and loved it! It is true to size- I was lucky enough to be able to try it on in the store and could order 2 different sizes. It's stretchy and easy to move around in and great if you have to wear it for a long time. I'm 5'9 and it was the perfect length with kitten heels. I got so many compliments and it's a great attention getter! Highly recommend!

Pros: comfy, fit very well - almost like it was custom made for me! Cons: too long, even with my highest heels. I had to use Hollywood Fashion tape for a temporary hem. It was tricky - but I don't think it was too noticeable. I loved this dress!

Comfortable, no need for a bra, built in bodice provided perfect support, easy to dance in, and convenient snap halter and side zipper made it a practical slide in and go.

I ordered two dresses for a NYE wedding, and when neither of them worked out, I went to the RTR store to see if there was another option. Being NYE, it was slim pickins. I pulled five dresses, and this one was actually my least favorite off the rack. When I put it on, though, it fit so perfectly I didn't want to take it off! Form fitting, but a lot of give and movement in the fabric. It was great on the dance floor! My only qualm was that after wearing it for about 10 hours (it was a loooong day), the fabric started to irritate my neck and under my arms from where it'd been rubbing all night. Most people are likely going to wear it for a shorter period, so I wouldn't say that's a problem in general.

This gown is red carpet-worthy! The color is beautiful and the fabric was really nice with a little bit of stretch to make it more comfortable throughout. The top was SUPER fitted, so might be tough if you have a bigger chest or midsection, but the hip area was a bit more forgiving with the stretch. You can go braless due to the thickness of the fabric and how fitted the top is. For any shorter ladies it's long so definitely think about higher heels!

Wore this to an NYE wedding. Fit like a glove. The metallic fabric is even nicer in person. It actually tends to look more towards the gold tones in person. The material is very forgiving on your body and has some stretch to it. I received compliments all night. I would totally recommend this dress. Sad I had to send back. The only con was that it was a little long being that I am only 5'1 and still dragged a little while wearing 4in. heels.

Loved this dress, wore to my boyfriends prom. Ordered a size 4 and was very happy I got the size 2 also. Very long, had to use hem tape. Looked as if hem tape has been used a few times on this dress.

I wore this dress for a wedding as a hostess. The other two hostesses and I received several compliments. After reading some of the other reviews I'm really glad I decided to go with a regular size instead of a long size. I'm 5'6 and with 4in heels the 8regular dress was still extremely long. I normally wear a 6 in dresses but I have a large bust and the 6R did not want to let me be great :-), so I wore the 8R :) The only issue for me was the neck hook. The latch on the neck piece looked like it had been sewn back on incorrectly or in the wrong spot so I was quite uncomfortable for the evening and ended up with a bruise on my neck from the latch scratching me (but, beauty is pain right?! lol). Overall, I loved the way the dress hugged my curves and I would definitely wear it again.

This dress shimmered beautifully and fit true to size. It has built in pads so no bra was required and the length was long enough to wear three inch heels. It was a bit snug around the neck and shoulder area but I do have wide shoulders. I'd recommend getting a back up in a size up just in case. I was however disappointed with the condition that the dresses were sent to me. Both dresses (including the back up size) were damaged requiring me to fix them myself. I contacted RTR however they did not have an extra dress in my size to send. The eye hook clasps on the straps were falling off and not secure enough to fasten the strap. Also one of the dresses had a huge rip/hole in the material. I always love the dresses I receive but I wish they would do better with inspecting and fixing the dresses before sending them. The costs of renting is too expensive if I have to sew and fix the dress myself. Overall, I loved the style and fit to the dress. I'd recommend this dress for any formal affair.

I really liked this dress! It was a bit complicated to get on but fit like a glove and achieved the purpose I needed it for which was Save the Date pictures with my fiancé. Overall a great experience with my first rental from RTR.

I rented this dress for a Yule Ball (Harry Potter) formal in college, I was dressed for Slytherin. This dress is really beautiful and very comfortable, so it's great for a longer night! I'd highly recommend it, though it is more gold than silver.

Wore this for a formal spring dance, black tie, country club venue. It was a great price for the look. A pale-shimmering gold color, the cross over in the front was different, more elegant sporty.

I wore a size 4 in this dress but I would have liked to try the 6. It seemed to run a bit small to me. Luckily the material is stretchy and it was still comfortable. It is very long, I am 5'7" and with 3" heels the dress just barely cleared the ground. As others stated you don't need a bra with this dress and it does show everything as far as your stomach goes so you may want to wear spanx.

This was my back up dress for a formal gala. The fabric and style were far more beautiful in person. Didn't end up wearing it because the top /back was too loose (I'm a C cup) and the dress was waaaaay too long even with 3" heels. The fabric was light and stretchy, just couldn't fill it out the way I wanted to. Maybe better for someone with more chest.

I'm a true size 4 and I saw a recommendation to get a size 2R for the backup, which was completely accurate. The dress is a nice stretchy fabric that hangs well on curves, but it definitely also just show if you're bloating. Also, it's a little tight in the bust and shoulders. Overall, I completely loved it and received so many compliments -- would recommend!

This dress was the epitome of simple elegance. I'm a true size 4 and I ordered both the 4 and 6 in case it ran small. I should have ordered a size 2 for a more fitted look. This dress has a lot of stretch too. Also because you can't wear a bra the smaller size would have held my breasts up better. The dress is super long, get hem tape. Now if you are like me you see reviews about long dresses and think, "it won't be too long for me, maybe that girl wore shorter heels," or "I want it to go to the floor" but trust me, this dress is long. If you are 5'5" or shorter there are no shoes you can wear to make it the right length. And it's not the type of long that you can make a fake train. It's the kinda long that looks like your dress is too long. Just get the hem tape. If you are taller than 5'7" and plan on wearing 4+ inch heels, you *may* be ok. Overall, for the price, it's a beautiful dress. For reference: measurements 5'4", 35-26-39, usual size S or 4R, wore 4+ inch heels

This dress was great. I wore this to a formal event with a. Sit down dinner so I sized up for extra comfort while sitting. The slit was great! I was fearful the length was going to been and issue, but, I was fine with my 5'4" height and a 3 inch heel shoe. The back cut out doesn't lend itself to wear any type of regular bra, but, there are cups sewn into the dress so you don't have to wear one if you don't need too much support. Overall a great dress and the color is enough to be impressive but not overwhelming.

Rented to try on as an option for my bridesmaids. Color was gorgeous, a true lighter gold with nice shimmer. Overall this had an odd fit for my size. I'm usually on the smaller size of street size 6, sometimes have to go to an 8 in more structured RTR brands. This just had a strange fit - the 8 might be better. The fabric is comfortable and stretchy, but form-fitting - I'd recommend shapewear to smooth things out. The bodice has bust padding which I was not a fan of, because it hit at an odd angle for my small-ish chest. Length was good - at 5'7" I could wear 2.5" wedges and the hem hit the floor. Shorter ladies might struggle with the length. There was some odd gathering at the slit seam, but that may have been due to needing one size up. My 6R had boning that was poking through - decently easy fix with fashion tape, but might be uncomfortable for long events - YMMV. No other signs of overuse. Not a bad dress, just not a great fit for my shape.

I was very excited for this rental but it was probably my least favorite from RTR. It was by no means a bad dress and I got lots of compliments however the whole crisscross strap situation is not the best. It is secured like a bra strap and the metal pokes you in the shoulder. Also, at the point where the two pieces cross in front, there is a mesh lining piece that sticks out on the side that is secured in the shoulder. This was happening in both sizes I rented. I had dress tape that I used to tape the mesh but it wasn't foolproof. Overall I liked that the dress was light and had the slit it made it very comfortable for dancing. This is a very nice dress but not my favorite. It's also very long.
