Loved the material of this dress. It was stretchy and soft, making it comfortable and forgiving. The high-low was also sexy and elegant at the same time. I got SO many compliments and felt amazing all night. I am 5'7", 134 pounds and found the 2L was perfect.

This dress was kind of like wearing pajamas - in the BEST way! Awesome, stretchy fabric, but still looked nice. Very flattering! I would say it runs a little big, but overall great fit. I'm usually a 2/4 depending on how the dress fits and I honestly would have liked to try the 0 in this one, so size down for backup!

I LOVED this dress! I wore it to my husband's holiday party. It was so eye-catching and the cut is very unique. It was incredibly comfortable. It had so much stretch and the material is so giving that I actually could've gone down a size. Perfect for many different occasions.

This dress was wonderful! Exactly what I wanted for a black and white wedding. I'm 5'1 and 136 lbs, it fit perfectly (not too tight or loose) and it wasn't too long either so I didn't need to worry stepping on it. Fabric is stretchy so it molds to the body quite nicely.

Wore this to a masquerade event. It arrived extremely wrinkly, so I had to spray it a ton with downy wrinkle spray prior to wearing it. Material is very soft, spandex like (not what I was expecting, but much more comfortable!). I usually wear a size 4-6 in dresses & this fit like a glove (size 4R) with short heels. Would rent again! Very classy but still edgy with the one leg cut out!

This dress was super comfortable and the fabric was really soft and stretchy but that also meant it doesn't look as formal in person as it might seem in photos. The overall dress fit great but the top was big on me.

This dress is so unique and fun. I wore it to a wedding and it's great to dance in and even though it's black fabric it's light and not too warm to wear in the warmer months! It fit so well, I loved it so much!

This was my first RTR experience and I will definitely be coming back. I'm 5'7" and got a 6R and it fit me perfectly. The dress was so comfortable and stretchy. We forgot to get a picture at the party so had a fun photo shoot when we got home. Can't wait for an occasion to rent again!

I read the reviews and so I chose a size smaller, when i typically go a size larger to fit my chest. Fabric was stretchy to accommodate my chest and the fit was perfect. I loved this dress and received tons of compliments all night!!

I ordered this for a Murder Mystery Party (I was the victim as you can tell by the photo hahaha). I got lots of compliments. It was SO comfortable. I didn't have any issues with it riding up, but I wasn't doing a lot of dancing. I wore the 4... probably could have worn the 2, but the material is stretchy, so even though the 4 was probably a bit big, you couldn't tell... left lots of room for food. I am 5'6" and got the regular length and it was just a tad short - it didn't quite hit the floor without shoes on, so with heels, it was a bit short but not TOO short. Overall, LOVED it and would definitely rent again!

For reference I am 5'6" and about 145 lbs. I'm athletic but have some curves and a bit of a tummy. That being said the fit is amaaaazing. As other woman have commented, this dress is so comfortable. My only complaint is a weird little bump formed on the back when I zipped it up, but I honestly doubt anyone but me noticed. I decided to go with black boots to make it more of a badass look ;-) Whereas if you wear it with heels it looks classy AF. I wish I owned this dress and am considering making that happen!

This dress was actually my free back up, but it stole the show! It was the perfect length without heels, so when I put my heels on it was a little short but probably for the best! It was modest but sexy with the leg slit, and was very flattering. It was my first time with RTR and definitely won't be my last!

Great Dress! Wish there was a 2 or 4 petite, the 2 regular still was a little long even with the highest heels I could find! This was a fun dress to wear and I loved that it was different from the dresses I have worn in the past! Material was very flattering and giving!

The fit was great. The fabric wasn't too thin or thick--I wore some Spanx shorts just to be safe. The only con is the short part of the skirt hikes up while you are dancing, but besides that, I really loved the whole thing. I got complimented on my outfit by another wedding guest! Would highly recommend this dress.

I loved this dress!! The tail on the back that exposes one leg is amazing. The material is really soft -- other reviews that say it feels like you're wearing pajamas are definitely accurate. I was originally concerned that the shorter under-dress would ride up, but that wasn't a problem even with dancing during the night! I loved the cut-in style of the neckline too, so flattering!

I am 5'6" tall and 140lbs. I ordered a size 6R and a size 4R. The 6R was a little too baggy on me, surprisingly, so I went with the 4R. It was a tiny bit snug, but I threw on a pair of spanx and I was good to go! It's much thinner material than I thought so panty lines are very visible. A thong should help with that. The length was perfect with a pair of heels. No dragging on the ground and it wasn't too short. I would definitely order this dress again. I got a ton of compliments!

Stunning dress! I received compliments all night while wearing it. The dress was comfortable and was long enough for me to wear with a heel (I'm 5'10"!) Although this was not the style I originally selected for my event, Rent The Runway worked with me to find a suitable substitute since my style was no longer available. The replacement style was a winner for sure!

I recieved this dress as a back up and did not wear it because my first option worked out. However, i loved this dresss and would love to rent it for a different occassion (felt too sexy/"look at me"to wear to a wedding, but would be great for a gala or other formal affair). This dress is stretchy and runs large (even for the busty) so size down!

I am normally between sizes (4-6) and was much happier with how the 4L fit. This dress has a very soft stretchy material, so it's forgiving and easy to wear. If you are between sizes I suggest getting the smaller size. I am 5'8 and the 4L was the appropriate length - it barely hit the floor with 3" heels on.

Fit was very good, not to tight, not too loose. I just loved the dress and so did my husband. I'm a very athletically built women and the chocker cut was perfect for me. The company was also very great to work with. I had to change the rental due to a change in date of the event and they were very helpful with this.

I rented this dress for a black tie wedding and I couldn't have made a better choice. It was actually the back up dress of my back up dress (my first two choices came back too damaged and I was sent the weong dress) HOWEVER, RTR (per usual) made everything better with their amazing customer service and helped me find this BA dress. I just had a baby two months ago, so I wanted to look sexy while still trying to hide my post oartum body. This dress dis the trick. It was comfortable, sexy, and hid my "baby belly" perfectly.

At the time of renting this dress, this dress had no reviews. I had rented another dress from RTR, but that dress had a hole in it. After going through all of my dress options over the phone with a consultant, this was one of the only dresses still available for the time I needed it. Honestly, it was the best "mishap" ever! This dress looked better than the original I had picked out, it had AMAZING stretch so it looked wonderful on my curves, but didn't bandage me in. Super flattering and unique dress and I got so many compliments on this dress. I'm not always one to feel super confident when dressing up, but while in Nashville, I felt like a superstar in this dress! I didn't want to take this dress off it was that comfortable (it seriously felt like I was wearing leggings the entire night). I would HIGHLY recommend this dress and the RTR Customer Service was phenomenal as they overnighted this dress to me from NYC to Nashville, TN. Get this dress for your special night, you won't regret it!

This dress was perfect to wear to a James Bond-themed gala! The asymmectrical look was eye-catching and showed off a little leg. It made me feel sophisticated and sexy! The regular length was exactly right with a pair of 3-inch heels and didn't get in the way of walking or dancing throughout the evening. The stretchy material made it super comfortable to move in, although it wasn't the best to hide tummy flaws; if you're self conscious about that area I'd definitely suggest some spanx or something underneath. The upper half and neckline were a little loose on me despite being large-chested, and the back kind of rippled along the zipper, but that's probably just the result of having a shorter torso. This dress needed to be worn with a strapless bra, since the racerback straps showed near the shoulders. This was my first rental with RTR and it could not have turned out better! Will definitely be using them again for future events!

I'm 5'7 and 143 and 34DD I chose the 8 over the 6 as I don't like tight. I like being comfortable in my clothes even if it's formal. This dress was so comfy and I enjoyed the short/long hemline. The fabric is soft and doesn't feel like it's catching fire when the sun hits it....we all know how black can feel. To sum it up, it's a winner.

True to size and well designed to accentuate

Rented this dress for a formal ball. The dress runs a bit large, so if you are between sizes I would go down one. The material is very stretchy and comfortable, and the shorter part of the dress did not ride up throughout the night. Very happy with this rental and loved the earrings I rented to go with it.
