This was a great dress for a formal wedding on a warm October night - shimmery and light-weight. My main complaint was the length, because the hem got in my way throughout the night despite 4 inch heels. This is a pretty common problem with my rentals and I held up the dress for stairs, dancing, etc. The bust was slightly tight as well, and had the potential to smush even a small chest (I did wear a strapless bra with padded cups). But overall I felt pretty and sleek. Loved the straps - so different.

I up sized to make sure it fit, which I'm glad I did. The length was a little long, but I was able to hold the dress when walking to avoid tripping. Although it felt heavy out of the bag, it was light enough for a summer wedding. The top was pretty tight and if my chest was any bigger I don't think it would have fit. By the end of the night, the straps did cut into my shoulders, but it wasn't terrible. Overall it was a great dress.

I am typically a 4/6 and I got a 6 in this dress and it fit perfectly. A lot more shimmery in person, very pretty dress! The neck straps were a little long for my liking but nothing too crazy.

After reading all the reviews I was worried the back wouldn’t zip and sadly, it didn’t. The dress was beautiful and looked exactly as I hoped it would. Fit everywhere except the upper back. Would try again in one size up and the long length (if available).

I rented this for a black tie wedding but ended up not wearing it. It's pretty uncomfy up top- I am not well endowed and this squished me like no other. The neck strap was also tight so definitely size up!!

Too big in the chest, perfect fit in the waist, too long. But I still liked it.

Fit great, a little long for me (5'4") but with heels it was fine and I like the way it pooled at my feet. Didn't need to a wear a bra (32 B) and got lots of compliments. Loved this dress!!

I loved this dress. I wore it for a black tie fall wedding and it was perfect. I'm almost always a size 2 in dresses (sometimes a 0), but I'm glad I ordered the 4 as the backup. I couldn't even zip the 2. The 4 fit so well and was comfortable. The fabric is stretchy and light. The top is like a corset, though, so after 7-8 hours of wear I was pretty happy to take it off. In terms of length, I'm 5' 10" and the long with perfect for 2 inch heels. I could have probably gotten away with 3 inch heels as well.

So comfortable, lots of compliments. Had a little bit of a hard time with the zipper but overall really great!

The fit up top runs small - after reading the initial reviews - I went with one size larger and selected my second size - 2up. I ended up having to wear the 2 sizes larger than my norm due to my rib cage and chest. It was gorgeous though. Just enough shimmer for a black tie event

This dress runs small up top. If you have a larger chest... not sure I would recommend. Luckily, my body allowed a better fit haha. Truly, this material was stunning in person and in pictures. Unlike most formal dresses, it was actually comfortable to wear all night and didn't drag down with weight throughout time. It is a bit long though - I am 5'3" and had on 2" heels... but it was still about 2" longer than I would typically like. Overall, I really recommend this dress. I had a ton of compliments on it and feels great all evening.

I loved this dress and received many compliments. The perfect amount of sparkle on a pretty and demure silhouette. It is very forgiving in the stomach and hips, but probably not suited to a large bust as it is quite tight on the chest.

LOVED this dress. I'm between a 2 and a 4, wore the 2 because that is all they had. Runs very small in the chest area. I couldn't zip it with a bra on. Nice not to need a bra though! Probably won't work well for bustier girls. Perfect length for me with 2" heels. Very comfortable for sitting / walking / dancing! Sparkly and elegant! Very flattering!

This dress is so comfortable in cut and material. The shimmer of the material was very eye catching in low light but more subdued than sequins which I liked. The top had great structure so I didn't need a bra.

The dress was the ideal length for me. But, the waist runs tight, which is why I had to go up a size (I have a larger rib cage). I wasn't pulling at the dress much at all, except a few times to reset the top because I didn't wear a bra with it. I recommend renting!

What a beautifully structured pleated gown by Laundry. Running true to size, we recommend sizing up for backup. Although the dress is fitted all around, being that the fabric is very stretchy, it allows for a comfortable fit throughout the midsection and for full hips. However, the fitting in the bust makes it best for A to C cup sizes with no bra required. Pair with silver heels and jewelry.

I ordered this dress as a backup option in case my First choice dress didn't work out, so I won't end up actually wearing this one, but I was really pleased with the quality and look of the dress. It had a muted sparkle throughout the fabric which was definitely my favorite part! Plus, the dress is two layers of thick material that make it feel substantial enough (and not see through). However, I would not recommend this dress to ladies with large chests. I am a 36D and went braless - and the fit was perfect. But I do feel like if I was wearing this, I might be a little paranoid because it doesn't quite leave you feeling covered and secure. The inside top does have a strip of rubbery material that helps it stay in place, which helped, but just be warned! Also, I am 5'8' and was wearing a 2" heel in this Photo, and the dress just perfectly brushed the ground.

The dress has a gorgeous shimmer that's just enough to look amazing. I agree with the other reviews that it is tight near the ribs so I recommend going up in size. Also, if you have a larger bust you can definitely be showing some cleavage in this dress.

The dress is beautiful (simple and elegant). I wore for a Great Gatsby themed event. True to the reviews, the bodice runs small (took me forever to zip up) and even with a small bust like myself it appears too tight and I could barely zip it up. I would say to try on in store or get at least one size up (may two if you have a larger bust). The dress is A-line so sizing up won't make much difference at the bottom of the gown. I am wearing 4 inch heels in the picture and at my height the dress was still long and I had to pick up in the front to walk. I loved the dress and style but the fit is not great.

I wore this for a black tie event. It was perfect. Classic but still fun. The top ran a bit small. I usually wear a 0 and the 0 fit in this everywhere other than the bust. The size 2 was perfect. If you are a C cup of above, I would suggest going up a size!

This dress made me feel beautiful! I wore this to the formal Captain's Dinner for mine and my husbands 5th wedding anniversary cruise. I am 5'2" and usually a size 0. It fit perfect other than it ran a bit tight around the rib cage but great for the smaller chested ladies! I wish I would have gotten the petite since it was a bit long but I never really tripped over it. I wore a 2 1/2 inch heel. Overall, it made feel great about myself and I would highly recommend!

I am typically a size 10 in dressed but sized up to a 12P for this based on reviews. Still had a hard time getting into the gown, which eventually was able to zip, but was far too tight on a larger bust. Additionally even the petite length (I'm 5'1) was too long in 4" heels. This is a beautiful gown for someone of an average height, without a curvy shape. I ended up wearing the Silver Cameron Gown by Hutch in a smaller size, and it was perfect for my curvaceous bod!

I really liked this dress but it gave me a little back butt and I was slightly too short in the torso the dress had some fabric overhang instead of laying flat. At 5'4" it was a little too long too even with 4" heels.

The fabric is supper forgiving but the bust and waist are very fitted and not good for a busty gal. Very easy to get into but zipper placement makes it hard to get out of. Perfect for my height. I should've ordered larger size.

I received this as a backup when the dress I ordered was damaged. I am pear shaped, so these styles typically work well for me, but this one was tighter than normal. I would definitely size up. Also, this dress is much more silver than the picture shows - so would definitely need silver jewelry/accessories. While the dress did technically "fit" (as in- i could zip it up) - I felt like a sausage busting out of its casing, so I decided to not wear it. Also - I am 5'8" and it was also a wee bit too short with my 3' heels.

I rented this for a Mardi Gras gala it's beautiful and prefect for the occasion however it was to small. Please don't hesitate on ordering it, just order a size or two up.

Great dress EXCEPT it was too tight in the rib cage - COULD NOT ZIP UP and could not wear it. I'm a size 6, 5'9", 140lb and wear a 36b - apparently my rib cage was too large? Very disappointed.

I usually wear a 10 and even the 12 was too snug. They did not make any bigger sizes so I had to get a new dress. Would have loved to wear this one though!

The bodice is tight, as others have noted. The dress is long on my 5'5" frame but was easily tucked into the waistband to the perfect length.

This dress is beautiful. I was unable to wear it because I ordered the wrong size but I look forward to ordering it again for a different occasion! The fabric is light and easy to wear and shows up the perfect amount of shimmer!
