It was a bit long, but I bought the gown and had it hemmed. I definitely recommend buying Rent the Runway's stuff when they're clearing out shop!

I'm very busty and was just able to fit this dress without a bra. If you're tall, make sure to get the long!!! I'm 5'11" and the long could have been a couple inches longer. Barefoot the dress just grazed the floor.

This dress is definitely better suited to larger boobs - I have DDs and filled out quite nicely but I could see less endowed gals being a bit disappointed. Loved the beautiful fabric and ten bonus points for pockets. Make sure your heels are high because this dress is looooong.

I wore this to a wedding reception. The dress was very comfortable and even though the material appears thicker with beautiful detailing, it did not feel heavy. Fitted up top and a normal bra can be worn. Lots of room in the hips and legs. I debated getting a long since I'm 5'9" but I was wearing flats so I took a chance and the length was perfect - I imagine it runs long on most. Beautiful in pictures. I would rent it again, it was a perfect dress!

What a gorgeous gown! The combination of the mind and the gold thread is perfection! It gives the dress a very romantic and feminine feel. It has a great shape for anyone who wants to accentuate their waist and bust. This gown is super slimming and the fuller skirt is great for fuller hips. My favorite part are the hidden pockets! This dress might be too long on you, depending on your size, yet you can always have it shortened temporarily by a tailor and then take it off when returning it to RTR. Pair it with some simple gold or pearl jewelry and you will look amazing! Prepare yourself for a ton of compliments from everyone around you!

RTR over nighted the 10R as the 12R was too long in the torso. The pockets held keys, lipstick, iPhone and business cards. And people seemed to think the dress was lovely all night long. I paired it with the Kate Spade Pick A Pearl bracelet and earrings and they were perfect. Light, sparkly and great quality.

I usually wear an 8 and this 8 regular fit true to size. I received several compliments and was even able to share with everyone where a rented the dress. I especially loved the pockets. Take note also that I stand 5 6 and wore a two inch heal. The only downside was that the color of the dress didn't photograph well under fluorescent lighting inside the hotel.

The waist fit was perfect, and super flattering. it was about three inches too big on top (my mom had to pull up the straps) and about four inches too long on the bottom (held with pins all night). Overall, great dress though!

This dress is made out of a very nice and shiny fabric, that feels quite expensive. The fit is classical and actually rather fine on my body-type. I have to send it back and will not wear it because it is too big on me (and not flattering) especially at the breast level. Moreover, the length is also too much for me - I would have to wear very high heels to pull it off.

Fit true to size; at 5'8'' the regular could be worn without heels as the long wasn't available. very slimming and looks great on

I absolutely loved this dress. I wore it to a tea party that I hosted and received lots of complements. It was simple but elegant. The fabric color is a mint green with gold accents. Not sure if this can be clearly seen in the picture of the model. And...it has pockets! Great dress.

Fits great! I'm 5'3 and a bit chubby, and the 10R fit perfectly everywhere except the length of course. It was 2-4 inches too long even with 5 inch heels, but that's because I'm short. I made it work though! The dress itself is a fabulous cut, beautiful color, and has pockets! I danced in it for 5 hours straight and it did not show ANY sweat!

RTR has awesome customer service. They were very accommodating and understanding of the various circumstances, and were quick to respond to requests.

I wore this dress for a formal outdoor wedding. The dress is gorgeous in-person. I got ton of compliments while wearing it. The gold is shimmery and pretty without being obnoxious. It has pockets. No special undergarments required, which is great. I'm 5'4" and I wore 3" heels, but despite that, the dress was about 4 inches too long, so I had to pin it up. Luckily the metallic accents and heavy-weighted fabric hid any signs of safety pins. Both sizes fit me (8 & 10), but I wore the larger size just to be more comfy. During the wedding, I bent down to pick up my napkin and the zipper SPLIT. Yes, it was a nightmare. I had to scurry to the ladies room and I ended up wearing my husband's blazer for the remainder of the evening because the zipper had completely come off the track. I was completely mortified. RTR customer service was amazing though and refunded my purchase. It was my very first rental experience!
