I normally do not go strapless or off the shoulder, but this dress was absolutely fabulous! So comfortable and very flattering. No fidgeting all night. I did size up for usual formalwear fit.

This dress was absolutely stunning and so comfortable!! I was 8 months pregnant at the time I wore it for a wedding and I felt so comfortable and so beautiful. It moved so well and was juts amazing. I would like to buy this dress.

I ended up choosing a different RTR dress for formal event. My husband was wearing navy blue and I went with something that would contrast. But I loved this. Showed off my curves, and the slit was just enough. Wish I had another event to go to in order to wear!

I tried this on but ended up wearing a more exciting dress to my event. This dress is classy, the fabric is good quality and lays nicely, and the neckline has some subtle details that look better in person. You won’t stand out in a crowd, but will fit in nicely at a formal event.

I usually get a larger size for my secondary read but based on the reviews I got a smaller size and am glad I did. The dress was the perfect length that I was able to wear ballet flats which was icing on the cake.

Wore with a 3" heel, no need for shapewear, just a strapless bra. Very comfortable and perfect for a formal fundraising event. Color is a deep navy, looks black in low light.

Wore this Ralph Lauren to a formal wedding on New Year's Eve and it was perfect! I needed to wear flat-ish shoes and I wanted to enjoy the party and not worry about my feet hurting...worried that the dress would be too long, but it was just right with a 1/2" heel. It did not brush the floor, nor was it short. My fun sparkly shoes peeked out just enough. Would wear this again if I have another formal event during warmer weather.

This dress was a hit at my friend's wedding! My one qualm was it ran a little bit, and needed spanx under as it showed imperfections on my stomach super easily- I was hoping it would be thicker/more compressing. But the cut and the mermaid bottom is so flattering!

Great dress for a black tie event. Like others have said, it runs big but is very forgiving. I'm usually a 6, and the 4 fit great. The 6 fit also, but the 4 held me in better.

I read the reviews to size down 1-2 sizes. I wear a 4 so I got a 2 and 4. I'm 5'6/125lbs. I wished I had rented a 0 and 2. The 2 fit well, but I wonder if the 0 would have fit even better. Never the less, I was super pleased with the dress overall. The hem was coming out a little, but that was my only complaint. Love love loved it and got so many compliments! It was a nice heavy fabric.

Very flattering fit, especially if you are curvy. No problem wearing this without a bra and felt very secure. The material is thick. I'm between a 6 and 8 and the 6 worked perfect.

I have a small chest so it was a tiny bit big on top but the off the shoulder sleeve was elegant and the dress was very comfortable and elegant. Length was great for me but you need to be 5-8" and up or wear very high heels !

This dress is extremely comfortable and forgiving! I wore it to a black tie wedding 26 weeks pregnant. I could have sized up just once from pre-pregnancy size with this dress, but decided to wear the back-up additional size larger to allow more room in the chest/arms (only part of the dress that isn’t stretchy!). I definitely recommend!

Wore this gown to a black tie wedding. The size 8 fit me perfectly. This was my first Rent the Runway experience and I was very pleased. Would definitely recommend RTR and this dress.

I was comfortable in the 4 but could fit in the 2. The 4 was a teeny bit large in my hips (could easily pinch the fabric on both sides) but I appreciated it not being too tight on my butt. I was very happy with this rental!

Very stretchy material. I was worried if it would fit as there were no other sizes to get as a backup and I mailed it to the destination of our trip, only being able to try it on same day as party. It was perfect! Lots of compliments!

This was my first dress from Rent the Runway and it sets the bar for all future rentals, it was that incredible! It was a great length with regular heels and had the perfect amount of stretch without giving way too much. It’s been 3 years and I still think about how perfect this dress was! You won’t regret this dress!

Fabric is thick, stretchy and very forgiving. Wore it for a “rat pack” Vegas Lounge themed New Year’s party. Some size 2 gowns are tight in the chest on me, but this one was so flattering and easy to wear/dance in!

Lovely silhouette, and the length was perfect for my 5’3 frame when I put heels on.

This was a last minute order for a black tie wedding. I wore size 4R because 2R was not available - it was a little too big for me but not such that I couldn't wear it. The fabric is very stretchy and comfortable. Despite being small-busted I never had to wonder if the sleeves or bodice would slide down. The lower portion has nice lace inlays that are hard to see in photo, and the bottom swishes nicely. You will feel free to dance in this gown. I needed 3" heels to keep the hem off the ground.

I received so many compliments! The dress material was very high quality and fit wonderfully. Looking through the pictures, I would recommend not wearing the sleeves too far off your shoulder because your strapless bra may show at the arm hole. This was the first time I have used Rent the Runway and the dress made me feel lovely. I will definitely rent again!

This was a great dress for chaperoning prom. I’m a high school teacher, so I needed something modest, but dressy. I didn’t want to outdo the students, but wanted to dress for the occasion. This struck the right balance. It has a heavy weight to the fabric, so I never had to worry about undergarments showing. It is long, so heels were necessary.
