I'm normally a size 4 and wear 32DD bra--I don't think this would work well for women with smaller bust. It has side seams on the chest that stick out a bit and almost make it look like side nipples. The armpit area was a bit tight for me but I have broad shoulders and athletic build. The material was smooth and comfortable and the style was figure flattering. I wore it to a funeral and it worked as a classic little black dress.

Perfect for a classy occasion. This little black dress was sexy (with the low cut chest area and the small slit up the side of the left leg), but with the perfect amount of class for a formal event. I wore this to a symphony concert and reception where they honored my family and grandparents. I felt super classy. This dress is form fitting but very stretchy and comfortable. I would definitely rent this again. It woudl be perfect for a work affair as well.

With this label Ralph Lauren has really figured out how to make a comfortable, flattering, versatile dress...many in variations of this shape are all good but this gathered waist is particularly curve enhancing and forgiving. Sexy but still professional.

Great fit, very flattering. The darts around the bust do poke out a bit more aggressively than I'd like, but the draping covers this up sufficiently that it's not that much of a problem. I originally rented this for work; due to the v back, it feels more like a date night dress.

Fabric was very shiny; note there the slit opens when you walk or sit. I felt myself tugging at it during work.
