The gown fit like a glove. I’m tall and could still wear a heel. I wore this in Paris at Versailles and felt like royalty.

The strap may drop from time to time, but it didn’t bother me.

I wore this for a concert in Carnegie Hall - as a cellist I am limited in what kind of dresses I can wear but this was absolutely perfect. It did run a little bit large - the straps were slightly loose but I used fabric tape so they wouldn't fall off of my shoulders. Got lots of compliments, and the gold accents really made it special.

This was comfortable, didn’t need any attention (like steaming or ironing) upon delivery and removal from RTR bag, and so flattering. It didn’t feel fussy (easy to move around all night in) and easy to pair with a variety of accessories. I loved this dress! I wore it to my husband’s black tie optional holiday party.

This dress is beautiful and fully lined. The straps were too long as others stated, so I pinned them up. I wore with gold heels.

Fit great, other reviews state the straps are a little loose and can fall down, which I agree with. If you have a bigger chest, I would size up.

The straps are too long! Take them off, tuck them in, and make it a strapless gown. It’s a more flattering look anyway! The dress stayed up without any issues. I’m 5’ 8” and wore pretty tall heels… the Long length would’ve worked better. Otherwise, it’s gorgeous and comfortable. Definitely worth the rent!

Loved this dress. Super flattering. No need for a bra. Could have gone with this size or possibly one size up. Fit like a glove on top. Got a ton of compliments. Wish it was a little shorter though. I’m 5’3 and even with a 2.5 inch heel it was in the ground. It’s navy btw not black. More beautiful in person!

Its a beautiful flowy dress that I didnt want to take off. I would of gotten a bigger size but i didnt want to risk it being too tight. The straps are not adjustable but they were ok. Im waiting for another event to wear it again.

The dress fit nicely! This is my typical size in formalwear. It was comfortable to wear all night and I felt confident in it. The only small issue was the straps were a little bit too long. I would’ve liked them to have been a bit shorter or adjustable, but I made it work.

Wore this dress to a friend’s black tie optional wedding. Got lots of compliments!! I’m a 34 DD, and the best part of this dress was that I didn’t need to wear a bra….the bodice fit perfectly. Also although you can’t see them, I was on crutches…the dress was flowy enough that I didn’t feel constricted “crutching” around.

Wore this to my niece's debutante ball in June, in Alabama. Was cool enough for the heat. I'm fairly short and wore small heels; so it was the perfect length (until my heels fell apart; then it was too long). Received several compliments, and my husband told me all night that we should buy this dress. Only modification I had to make to the dress was pin up the straps. The bodice fit perfect too (didn't need a bra or tape).

Dress was a huge hit at the black tie wedding. Lots of compliments. Fit was super comfortable. I did go a size up as I have an athletic body and broad shoulders. I had to tape the top just because I didn’t fill it out but overall it was a wonderful dress for the occasion

Very flattering but zipper was very thin and flimsy .

At 5’9, I’m at that awkward height between regular and long lengths. I did not order the dress in a long, and it was a tad short to my liking. However, the long would have probably been too long. As others have mentioned, the straps are ridiculously long and obnoxious. I had to pin them both and was still pulling them up all night. Otherwise the dress was comfortable and easy to move in.

The dress fit very true to size. The straps did fall if I don’t keep good posture, but probably could be easily fixed by pinning it. Perfect for the winter formal event I went.

Love the dress and the material. I love the fit of the 4 only thing is it was a little too long for me. I did however , receive a lot of compliments on it, even one from the bride :-). I would agree with the straps falling down but it wasn’t enough to interfere with the evening. Overall great dress especially for the rental price.

I felt really pretty in this dress but the straps constantly fell all night and had a hard time dancing. I ended up wearing the 12 rather than the 10 because it was tight on my back and chest.

I ordered the 6R and 8R. The 6 was my size but was unfortunately awkwardly short on me. Without my 2 in heal it barely touched the ground so then with the heal it didn’t cover my feet. When I tried on the eight it was much longer. With heals on it touched the ground and was a good length. Not sure why the length was so different on the two. i would have preferred to wear the 6. I had to wear a padded push up bra (I have a very small chest 34 barely B) to help fill out the bust but because of the straps it worked. The straps were long like others had stated. One kept falling off my shoulder. The coloring of the dress was great and comfort was good as well. Overall it was a good dress.

I’m 5’3” and 32A, 115lbs. 2P was perfect in length and the bust/waist. Wanted 0P but it wasn’t available: 2P I needed a strapless bra but 0P I probably would not have needed it. Wore 2.5” heels. I could move freely and comfortably while still looking good in this cut. Great color (dark navy) for complimenting my husband’s Army uniform. Military ball is a “work formal.” The gold accents are shiny but not distracting or cheap looking. Side seam boning to help keep the dress from slumping. Only FYI is that the straps are quite long, so I had to pin them about 1.5” shorter. Ralph Lauren was a classy brand that made me stand out in a good way from the cheap elastic Windsor dresses.

the straps were about two inches too long for me. I had to tie them together in the back to keep the dress from falling off. Otherwise, gorgeous and elegant!

If I owned this dress I would take the straps in by a couple inches so it didn’t sit so low. It worked out well enough and I received a few compliments!

I had the 0R and 2R. Both fit but I went with the 0R because the dress is long (I’m only 5’4”) and the straps on the 2R kept falling down. I wore 3.5 inch heels and the dress was still floor length. Overall loved it and got to a of compliments.

Dress was fine, nothing special about it. Straps aren’t adjustable which would have been tough for me. The pattern is a bit boring too. Didn’t end up wearing this because it was too dressy for my occasion, but it would have worked if I needed it

Light and flowy! A great wedding guest dress!

I rented this for a formal wedding. The dress is beautiful and fit perfectly, aside from the straps. As other reviewers stated, the straps are too long - I tried fabric and body tape, but it did not help hold the straps up. I did end up using tape at the top of the bodice to help keep the top of the dress in place, but I still had to keep pulling the straps up during the wedding reception. This was a bit annoying, but overall I'm glad I chose this dress.

Fit perfectly! I'm 5'8" and with 3" heels it still was long enough to cover most of the shoe.

If you have bigger hips, don’t worry — order based on your top size. The skirt on this dress is very roomy. I’m small on top and fuller on the bottom, so I usually have to size up for my hips, which leaves the top loose. Not with this dress. Order according to your top, and you’ll be fine. The dress is beautiful and will fit the most elegant occasion.

Wearing this to a Fall wedding. The petite version fall flush to the floor without heels and I’m 5’6”.
