Great fit, didn't have an issue with sides or underarms. I will say I'd be difficult to find the right bra for this dress (I didn't have to wear one). Only issue I had was keeping the tie tied in a bow!

I rented this dress for a wedding. It was very comfortable. It wasn’t very forgiving with sweat, though. But overall a beautiful dress.

getting the hook on the neckline is difficult to figure out initially, but once you look at it while its still off it makes sense. The hook at the neck is what makes it drape so beautifully. The fabric is luscious.

Stopped traffic twice in a major metropolis in this slinky chocolate confection and collected more compliments than I care to number. The duchess satin material is slinky and luxurious. You will love how it feels on. The cut on this dress is deliberately generous and is meant to be worn slightly oversized so it shimmies and shines on the wearer’s figure when moving. The top is cut large and open - double sided tape will keep the top in place. I’m a true 4 and that’s what wore even though it fit more like a 6. I the large cut combined with the style because I could eat without worrying about a food baby. However, if you want a fit that’s going to show your figure, order down a size (there’s plenty of room).

Wore this to a bridal shower and was comfortable the whole time. Dress skims beautifully over the body without looking boxy. Received several compliments, would rent again!

It was flowy and not too tight! I have 2 under 2 and am 5 months postpartum so struggled with fit, but this dress was just right. The color is stunning and I matched everything with gold jewelry. Perfect for my cousin's wedding!

I wore this to the welcome party of a black tie wedding since it is a midi. Absolutely loved it. Only complaint is that its very difficult/confusing to put on, but once you figure it out, the dress fits like a glove. So many compliments. Love love love!

The dress is lovely but you really have to put some guesswork into getting the bow tied. The chest itself has a lot of room and will likely expose your undergarments if you don't have the neck tie area pulled up and tightly. You may constantly need to adjust the neck area to prevent showing more than you wish. Maybe size down.

Wore for a wedding in mid-September in Chicago and it was wonderfully flowy to dance the night away! I'm 5'0" and length was perfect. Got many compliments! I knew the necktie would be tricky, I just adjusted a few times throughout the night. Still would wear again, especially if you're autumn toned!

Great fit and incredibly forgiving; can absolutely size down. Did require some pinning along the sides of the bust. Tying the neck takes some practice and did require an additional pair of hands, but once we got it down it was easy to replicate.

I felt amazing in this dress, especially with my postpartum tummy sometimes silk is not the best fabric but this sat so nicely and made me feel like a million bucks, of course with some shapewear on. It is a little bit of a struggle to get into, my husband had to help me, but once we figured out the hoop and the neck placement. PERFECTION. Got so many compliments at the wedding

I can’t say enough about this beautiful dress! It was classy, and beautiful and I received so many compliments! I felt like $1 million in it. It’s a little problematic figuring out how to get the tiny little strap at the neck and then the tie just right, but once you do, it’s amazing.

Gorgeous dress, loved wearing it, hated putting it on 😩 you need a helper! I figured out the workings of the strap inside the neck tie part before putting it on, then my boyfriend had to slip it over my head and do the hook on the back of my neck. It does not have a zipper. Also, size down. That being said, it was beautiful and I was asked if a stylist designed my look for the night, and I would definitely rent again! I loved this dress! It was the perfect level of sexy and classy at the same time! I read the other reviews and decided to get the size 2 and 4 since everyone seemed to agree it ran large. I agree that the 4 (my usual size) was too baggy. The 2 was perfect! The one warning I have is that this dress is not sweat friendly. When I was originally getting ready I was sweating a tad and the dress immediately showed it 🤣 so that’s just a little warning if you’re a sweat-er. I love this concept of being able to rent dresses and will totally be doing it again! ☺️

Wore it for a public speaking gig I was booked for in Walton County FL for my marketing firm Maranta Copy Co and got so many compliments!

Was able to size down and it fit just right. Gorgeous color! The neck tie was definitely tricky at first but so unique and I felt comfortable all night. Paired with black shoes and a black clutch purse that had gold accents so it tied the colors together.

So many compliments. Will definitely rent again!

Wore to my son and DIL’s reception this October and received SO many compliments. The color is flattering, the material luxe and the fit was perfect. Putting it on the first time was comical, but I figured out the eye was missing on the collar. Used a safety pin to cinch the collar tight enough to keep my wireless bra from being on display. I would definitely wear this again, it was lovely.

I actually had this dress sent to me when at the last second the dress I had picked for MY STEPSONS WEDDING was damaged and RTR couldn’t send it - gah!!!!! But guess what - this dress was better! The color is so rich and the dress hangs beautifully. It’s a forgiving fit and once you get the hang of the bow on the shoulder it really is classy. I will most definitely rent again.

I’m normally between a size 8 and size 10, and the size 8 was definitely the right fit with a little room to spare (which I’m not mad about - and which aligns with the reviewers who said to size down). I loved this dress and how comfy and easy-to-wear it was. I would definitely rent it again and recommend it. I wore noon tape to hold the dress down on one side just to be sure there was no slippage since I was at a work event, but it wasn’t too concerning either way. Tip: there’s a little string on the back of the neck covering which is where you hook the metal hook on the bow to.

This dress is so elegant and beautifully made. Figuring out how to tie it is very complicated and I struggled to do it well and then had to fix it throughout the event. I'm also 7 mos. Pregnant so not sure about the exact sizing compared to my normal but it is stunning and highly recommend for a wedding or special event. Looks beautiful on!
