This dress was perfect for a formal holiday party! The gold accent and cutout took the plain black dress to the next level of chic. I’m 5”7 and I went with regular length. I got so many compliments and was comfortable all night in the dress.

Beautiful dress fits perfectly got lots of compliments. I accessorize it with a green bag and green jewelry and for this type of affair it was just right.

This dress was perfect for a fancy cocktail reception. I wore it with flats because I have a broken ankle, and it hit the floor! Very sexy yet understated.

My friends loved this dress on me, and said they thought I should buy it. I wore it to an orthodox Jewish wedding, and it was okay! I was adequately covered and while it's definitely fitted, the double layers kept it from being too revealing and I didn't feel self-conscious at all.

Wore this to a museum gala. Got the 12 and 14, and the 12 was just right. I love the cutout and chain detail, they added a little something to an otherwise streamlined look. I felt polished and pulled together (and comfortable!).

However, because the material is so heavy and stretchy (making it soo comfortable), it weighed down the waist in the back which made me look a tiny bit thicker. Maybe if you have bigger hips it will hold it up. Overall it was a good fit. You should know that it is very long as well. If you are under 5'5", make sure to wear very high heels. Although it had a bit of a flaw, and maybe it was just because of my shape, I still recommend this evening gown if you want to look super cool.

Comfy and sophisticated

I rented this for a black tie gala for work. It was a networking event so I was looking for something to cover my tattoos without looking overly conservative and this dress definitely accomplished that, but it didn’t really feel like a black tie event dress. Not really sure where else I’d wear a floor length black dress like this, but the material was not giving formal.

I typically like RL- but this one missed the mark. Overall a bit large too.

This gown is pretty but way too long. I tried it on barefoot and was tripping over all the fabric. I also didn't realize the chain doesn't come off (and I wish it did).
