Wore this to a wedding and it was perfect

So beautiful- I have a short torso and most dresses have shoulder straps that are too long and this was slightly big in the straps area but otherwise perfect! I got a ton of compliments!

Comfortable and glamorous in an old money kind of way

It ran true to size, the fabric felt like it was made for a Scottish royal, it was the perfect length, and people commented on it the entire event. I can’t remember the last time I felt that confident in what I was wearing!

I did need help zipping up and clasping the neck. Lots of compliments! Highly recommend!

I originally rented this dress in a 6 but the chest was too big. The 4 fit nicely. Wore it to a black tie wedding. Great dress to dance in. No spanx necessary!

Nice dress, has nice shape to it. I usually wear 4P and felt true to size. Was a tiny bit long but I only wore 2 inch heels and overall that was enough and was still manageable.

This dress was a total show stopper. I got compliments all night and felt like a million bucks. While it looks like a heavy fabric in pics, it is not at all. and tough to see in pics is the plaid underneath the floral brocade, giving it a sort of bohemian meets regal feel. It is on the long side, so I had to wear my tallest heels as I didn't have time to double-stick-tape up the bottom. My only complaint is that it didn't have pockets - which would be so easy on this dress!

Very comfortable, looked better in person! It worked well for a 1920s murder mystery party! A little long for me, I wore 3" heels and the dress was hitting the floor.

Loved the fit of this dress! Accentuates curves and hides any midsection pooch. The pattern turned me off initially when I saw it on the hanger, but I just loved it on.

This dress was stunning I wore it for a black tie event and it was classy, modest and the detailing was beautiful, it is lined so wouldn't recommend for the summer, but is a fantastic transitional piece. Perfect for fall or winter and the colors are lovely, it's a mix of paisley and a plaid coat of arms. So many compliments!

I absolutely loved this dress but ended up wearing the back up size which was smaller. Thanks to everyone that leaves reviews! Material was gorgeous, and the size down fit me well. I normally wear an 8 or 10 and wore the size 6 here. I’m 5’6”, 148 lbs and a 34D/36C. The 6 was just a hair too large, but a solid padded bra did the trick. Would rent again!

Gorgeous, heavy fabric! Beautiful fit, even with a broad rib cage. Managed to cut a rug without dress mishaps.

You will need a strapless bra. I am between size 8 and 10 and the 8 fit great! Received many compliments. It is very elegant.

I am usually a size 6 to 8 in lululemon. I am a medium in bottoms and a small in most tops. This dress fits well on the top portion and flows out past the waist. I have gained weight this year so it was nice to find something flattering.

wore this dress to an adult prom at a museum, it fit the vibes so well and was very easy to love around in! fit slightly snug around the chest, but that is definitely not the dresses fault.

I’m not sure what size I am after losing weight. I usually wear a size 10 pants but a size 8 top so I ordered a 10 and a 12. The 10 worked pretty well but I probably could have worn an 8. One important detail. I am 5’7” and this was so long on me. The only way I could make it wearable was with the highest heels I own. I had intended to wear flats but those were definitely not an option. As long as you’re aware of the very long length, this was a gorgeous dress. Beautiful fabric that looks even better in person. I’m considering buying it and just having it tailored to fit lengthwise.

This dress was so beautiful! I’m usually a true size small/ 4 and it fit perfectly. The fabric was lovely and better quality than expected from the Lauren RL line. So many compliments and felt so chic and pretty in it!

Excellent dress for a black tie evening event. The petite was perfect with 3in heels (5ft4in) and just skimmed above the ground.

Beautiful high school quality dress but very long. I’m over 5’7” and I needed 3 inch heels. And it was still a little long.

I wish I took more photos in the dress but it fit me well. I’m usually an 8 but went down a size with the 6. I received a lot of compliments and felt comfortable and elegant in the dress all night long.

I received so many compliments on this gown. I did have to size up because the material has no stretch. But the quality of the fabric is great, which is why it is not stretchy. My boobs are bigger (DDD), so I unfortunately had to leave the zipper down halfway, otherwise if I closed it up, my cleavage would be waaaaaay too revealing for a wedding (the closed fit was a small synched waist - very Victorian style). But this is a bonus of the dress bc it has great support for boobs and really flatters your figure. I just bought a small cover up and it was no big deal.

This dress was EVERYTHING. I wore it to a black tie wedding and got so many compliments throughout the night. I'm about 5'6.5 and 190 lbs. I carry my weight fairly evenly, but with an average chest size. The 14 was a perfect fit for me. I tried the 16 too but it was too loose around the rib cage and the bust. It was exactly floor length without shoes. I had bought 2.5 inch heels and they made it look too short, so I switched to very low heels that were maybe an inch tall. This dress was so comfortable and not too heavy or too light. I wore a light purple shawl with it when I was outside that really brought out the purple in the pattern. Gold accessories made everything pop even more with the beautiful gold swirls throughout. Perfect for a fall wedding!

My first RTR! Ordered this dress for my husband’s “creative black tie” work event. I usually wear a 10 but the 12 fit best. A basic strapless bra worked perfectly. I’m 5’10” and wore 1.5” heals. It was perfect!

The 12 would have fit perfectly if my chest was smaller. Even the 14 had me smushed down a bit - couldn’t wear a bra but didn’t necessarily need one, just used tape to try to lift and offset the smushing. Get your “backup” a size UP if you have a larger chest. Overall a stunning dress that received many compliments!

I wore this to a fall black tie wedding and I adore the dress. I'm normally a 6 in regular clothing but the 4 fit better up top. Great quality fabric, lined, but not too heavy or warm. Heels are a must due to the length. I would love to wear this dress again.

I rented this for a black tie fundraising event my husband’s company was attending. Fit perfectly. I am 5’4”, about 145 lbs right now, 36C and curvy. It was fitted it loose in all the right places. It ran a bit long for me with 3” heels. I just held it up while dancing, but if you are my height, you might go for higher heels.

I used temporary fabric tape to hem it up 3 inches. The halter top was a little uncomfortable, but it was a gorgeous pattern and I got many compliments on it. It made me confident and happy
