I wanted to love this dress because of all the positive reviews. While it was very comfortable; it felt a little too matronly for my taste.

This dress is super comfortable. The material is quite heavy and made it perfect for a Spring evening event. I especially liked that the cape covered my upper arms, and draped low enough in the back to cover any bulges from shape wear. 😁 I would highly recommend this dress.

Comfortable Jersey dress with style and sophistication. Wore a few times to work and evening events. Super comfortable at end of the 15+ hours each day I wasn't in a rush to take it off. Light shapewear helped smooth the effect. Received many compliments and the cape is a fun addition.

I give this 5 stars due to it was very comfortable, professional, true to size, material felt great, would rent again. If you are looking for a 12 hour dress, this is it. You can travel all day comfortably and meet for a business dinner and a late night drink and never think "I wish I could get comfortable." You will be! Enjoy!

This dress came to me brand new and it was Soo gorgeous. Its like understated, sophisticated but party appropriate. I loved it! I would rent this again! It did run a little big. I'm usually a 10 in dresses but the 8 fit great.

Great dress for a nice night out at the theatre seeing Phantom of the Opera. Received several compliments throughout the evening. It is not a show stopper like some of the dresses on here, but was very sophisticated. I did love the comfort of the stretch since we were sitting through a 2 1/2 hour show. did not feel restricted at all.

I received many unexpected compliments while wearing this. I didn't feel like it was anything special, more of an everyday work outfit. The material, length and cut are great. The cape adds a little flair. Although the cape is thin, it sheltered my arms from the chilly morning. I'll rent again, maybe even purchase.

The cut of this dress was unique and classic with a gorgeous silhouette. I felt like the most well dressed woman in the room, while remaining really comfortable at the same time.

Easy to pack for an event when traveling

This was a great dress and because it is a stretchy material, it was comfortable and flattering.

This dress was great for work. I could also imagine it working well for an event, if you paired it with more formal accessories. The fit and fabric were so comfortable.

Nice fit. Good for everyday

I am usually a 4, which was too tight, and the size 6 fit well, but the style just felt too matronly and not as stylish as it appeared in the pictures.

I wish I could say this was rented for a party, but it was actually for a family funeral. The dress worked well and was very appropriate, flattering and most importantly, comfortable. Having an additional size provided just in case the fit wasn't right, was such a bonus. Thank you RTR for making an incredibly difficult day, a tad less stressful.

The fit was perfect. It camouflaged my central obesity very well. The length was perfect I'm 5 feet so the length was very modest. The dress was slimming in its appearance. I wore no coat but I wore a black sweater that had flute sleeves with two rows of white trimmed ruffles. The white trim on the cape and white trimmed ruffles added a special look to the dress that was very interesting. People perused the dress to figure out how it was made and how the sweater fit in. Very happy I wore this dress.

I loved this dress. I actually ended up wearing it three times - to a baptism, out with a friend and to work. I felt confident and classy in all three settings. Would recommend!

Material has slimming effect, very comfortable for all night wear. Don't need a shawl because the '"cape" keeps you warm.

Loved this piece. It's comfy and elegant. Just be sure to pack GalPal,because all that black ruching picks up deodorant stains like there's no tomorrow.

The jersey material is forgiving and molds nicely to your shape. The cape is heavy enough a jacket isn’t needed.
