my first time renting and it was amazing!

I actually rented a different dress for a wedding in which I was both a guest and playing flute for the ceremony. When my original dress was returned damaged, RTR offered to send me two different dresses of my choosing. I called them and explained to the stylist that I had specific needs for sleeves, color, and fit to allow me to look professional when playing AND be able to dance and at comfortably. This was the dress they recommended. It is STUNNING. You can't really see the lace detail in the photograph but it is beautiful. The cut was perfect for my athletic but slightly hourglass frame and I was able to both play comfortably and dance all night. My husband commented many times that if he could, he would buy it for me because he loves it so much. The only con is that the fabric is a delicate satin, though it looks structured in the photo, it is not. As a result, it wrinkled and stretched as the night went on and the garment was nearly falling off of me by the end of the night (which, to be fair, was seven sweaty hours of dancing later).

The fit on this dress is perfect and will fit anyone who waffles from a size 2 to a 4. Since its black and very well lined it will hide any problem areas and doesnt require the use of uncomfortable undies. The v neck may make people with large busts uncomfortable but for me it was perfectly revealing. The lace detail is also exquisite and you can feel the quality and weight of the fabric. One thing to note is that the dress did get quite wrinkly after sitting for about three hours so this may be best for an event where you do a lot of standing instead of a lengthy dinner party.

But, it might be too much for a work formal evening event. It runs a bit big in the hips as well.

Fitting without being too tight, very black tie appropriate. The details aren't too visible unless outside / in the light.

I didn't end up wearing this dress because it was a bit too cold the weekend of my event but I will definitely be renting this again in the future. Runs true to size and creates an Amazing silhouette for someone who doesn't have a lot of curve. The back has a low cut V as well. My only cons for this dress is that I would likely have to wear a backless bra, and I also wish the lace detailing on the hips was more prominent. You really had to be up close to notice it. Definitely recommend!

Great for any occasion. I'm pretty petite and it gave me curves. Fits true to size!

This dress was sent as a second choice since the first dress I chose had been returned too damaged. It was a great fit but a little more revealing in the chest area than what I wanted for the formal event. Had I not been a board member, I would have worn it.

I took this to Vegas with me; wore it to a sushi dinner and to see a Vegas show. I absolutely LOVED this dress and wish I could own it! The fabric was heavy, but not hot; I felt like it was more supportive than anything else. It came to my knees (5/10") which was perfect for hiding my legs, which I hate. I did have to invest in a backless bra, as the back drops pretty low, but I felt great in it. I also work some Spanx but honestly I could have gone without. Would rent again for any occasion!

i thought i will not be able to fit in it, but it is stretchy. i have only one comment, but this is my disadvantage... i have rather small boobs and the dress has a very open or deep neckline. it would look better if i had a bigger size on top. But this has nothing to do with the dress. The dress is gorgeous and looks very stylish

I loved the construction of this dress. Up close you can really see the beautiful details. I felt great in it!

I ended up not wearing this dress to a country club, second wedding reception. It was a tad too dressy for a summer evening, but I would rent again for a cocktail party or dressier event. I am normally a size 6 and the 6 fit perfectly. Just a warning, the back is really low, below the bra line. You might not be able to wear a traditional bra with this dress.

I was glad to have it- my first dress was a no show and they forwarded this one last minute to my NYC hotel- it arrived an hour before my event! (dinner party/ birthday party/ date) It worked. It was a bit snug but the dark color hid that. I am well proportioned but curvy. A classic 12 off the retail rack. I think I could have one with a 14- but in a pinch, the 12 worked

This was a second choice rental after my first became unavailable. The cut of this dress is so flattering and the subtle details are beautiful. I think it runs a bit large though. I normally wear and 8 and this was a little loose in waist and straps had hard time staying up. Ordered 10 as back up but should have ordered 6. Many compliments and felt great. The length hit right below my knee and gave me a fabulous hourglass shape. Appropriate yet classy and sexy. This dress was a big hit!! Cons: wrinkles easy.

This seemed to run small even though I ordered up. Great if you have a straight shaped body. Did not work with my booty or thighs.

It as hard to see the detail in the pictures. While a fitted dress the detail made it very matronly.

I typically wear a 14, ordered this in a 16 and it was still too tight. Order up.
