I LOVED this gown!! There's no way I would have rented it for myself because it is way out of my price range but when the I received an email the day before my bridal photo shoot telling me the "Say I Do" gown was damaged and I could pick any replacement there was no way I could pass on this one. They didn't even have it in my back up size, which is an 8 so I prayed it fit true to size and was so happy to discover it did. My photographer loved it and it made her a lot happier because she was definitely skeptical when I told her I wasn't going to be able to wear the dress that looked like a wedding dress as we'd originally planned. I am getting married in a museum in Atl so that's where we did my shoot and the families who were there for the Easter egg hunt kept telling me how gorgeous the dress was. In another lifetime, with another budget, I'd definitely rent again because pictures really don't do this beauty justice.

The 4r fit very well. The front hem just touched the ground with no shoes on so is raised off the ground in heels . Advise body tape for straps. Felt a little snug in the ribs when sitting. Overall elegant , beautifully made, nice quality fabric. Los of compliments!

I loved this dress. I worried for a short bit about renting a gown and the end result was PERFECT!!!! Pros: The way the dress flows, the weight and quality of the fabric, design and cut sit wonderfully on the body. It most certainly fits and looks like a $5,000 gown (as it very well should). The exaggerated neckline is wonderful and unique. The dress ran true to size, the 4R fit me but the 6R would have done in a pinch. It is PERFECTLY FORM FITTING creating a beautiful curve and lines on your body. My larger bust fit very well without unsightly overflow. This dress photographs like a supermodel! The blush, pink is the right amount of color and won't wash you out. I wore the dress all day long in and out of cabs and walking around, the dress felt great and wasn’t restricting or uncomfortable. Cons: —— The Wave gown needs to be treated like a model, bring your fashion tape to secure the straps where they need to be on you to avoid slippage. Have someone help you zip it. You may not realize how stunning you look until you put this dress on. Tips: Order your true size and a size DOWN as the dress has a way of smoothing out and sitting nicely all over. Wear spanks to have flawless curves, this dress wants to show off all your great sides! Bring fashion tape to keep the straps where they sit best on you and keep your shoulders back. I wore strapless sticky boobs but they weren't necessary or particularly helpful. Rent this as a wedding dress or formal gown and have everyone rave about your gown for ever and ever.

LOVED THIS DRESS! The gown fit everywhere but my bust. If you are a C or under you'd be ok. I had the squashed square boob look and had a bit of trouble breathing. No one seemed to notice though and I had many compliments on the gown. It is much paler pink and a cooler pink than the photo shows and the ruffles layed flat and were not obstructive.. After dinner I had to change out of dress into my back up style because I was in actual pain in my rib area. The dress was too long even in 5 inch heels and difficult to dance and walk in. I had to carry the front and back in my hands or I'd be stepped on. My original gown I rented wasn't available so RTR sent me this one last minute in just one size. If I had rented this in my own I would have sent it back for fit reasons. So to sum up, the gown was absolutely gorgeous and could be worn as a wedding gown. Size up if you're busty and pass on the gown if you're petite.

First off, let me say the people at RTR went above and beyond with my first RTR experience! I initially rented a Reem Acra gown and much to my dismay I was emailed the day before saying the girl before me had ruined the gown. They gave me 4 hours to respond to an email with my replacement choices but I was at work and didn't check my email so they automatically sent me this dress. I was a bit upset, but when I called in the morning they more than remedied the situation and have truly done more than I could've imagined to ensure I had a gown for this night. I ended up not wearing this particular dress because the fit wasn't ideal, but I figured I'd review it because reviews were super helpful when I was deciding on my ideal rental. The back is stunning. I really didn't like it when I saw the picture, but it is much less bulbous and lays a bit more flat in person. The bust fit, the hips were FAR too tight, and the waist was too loose. For reference, I'm a 34D and my measurements are 38" bust, 26" waist, 41" hips. I genuinely couldn't walk or bend so if you have my hip measurements definitely size up. This wouldn't be great for extreme hourglasses like myself because there is zero stretch. The fabric does remind me a bit of a bridesmaids dress which I wasn't stoked about. You will definitely need double sided tape to keep up the straps. The bust fit great without a bra but without double sided tape you'll be flashing the world. I'm 5 foot 10 and the length was perfect without shoes on. If I would've worn this I would have definitely needed to be in flats.

Beautiful and flattering fit! Fabric is heavy and has no stretch. No special underwear needed. Fits tightly around the ribcage - I normally size up for dresses cut like this since I have a large ribcage. I am 5'7" and wore 4" heels (no platform). The dress had a little bit of a train at the back.
