Dress was below the knee and the fit was a bit loose. I could have gone down a size to 2, I believe

The fit was true to size. I have a full bust (40 D), I am round around the waist and petite in stature. This dress was figure flattering (made my tummy look flat) and it looked amazing. I felt really beautiful in this dress. I would recommend you try your size and one up just to make sure.

Its so easy to wear. It was comfortable. I received a lot of compliments.

My first dress pick was returned damaged, so this was a last minute replacement pick. SO GLAD, loved this dress! Form fitting but with spanx everything was smooth and curvy. Bit of elastic in dress so was able to move comfortably, in fact it felt like the dress loosened a little as the night went on. Deep v in front and showed my DDD, but not vulgar, just a nice hint and I was able to wear a normal bra. The top is all lacy with a black strapless lining, but my braw straps weren't noticeable. When I first put on I was afraid the lacy sleeves would be scratchy and bother me through the night, but totally not an issue. I did notice that the silver shiny splotches flaked a little bit though the night and I left a bit of a silver trail where I sat and went, but it was a holiday party so no one noticed much. Would definitely rent again

I got this dress as a LAST MINUTE back up dress after the zip broke on another dress (thank you RTW) Without a lot of time I picked this dress and my first impression was I couldn't understand how this could be such an expensive dress. The good news is you can wear whatever undergarments you want because even though there are shear parts you can't tell with the print of the dres. As the night wore on I began to see the dress really showed off all my best elements without actualy showing off too much of anything. There is no stretch in the dres but that doesn't mean I didn't feel comftable moving and dancing. Also I typically have worn an 8 in other dresses but had to go up in this dress.

I loved this dress. Only drawback is there is little to no stretch in it.

I'm a curvy girl and it looks like I was poured into this dress. Well made too. I got so many compliments. This is my first time to use RTR and it was an awesome experience!

The pictures of this dress on RTR do not do it justice! I happened to get this a few days before the wedding at the last minute. Once I saw it and tried it on in the store, I fell in love with it. The length is just right. Not too short or too long. I felt like there was ample movement in the arms and when I sat down. (not too tight or constrained). To be honest, I fit the 0 really well, but was worried I would rip it when I sat down, danced, or got in and out of the car. The sparkle and shimmer of the dress is more of a pewter than a silver color. Unlike other reviewers, mine did not flake off anywhere. Overall, I highly recommend this dress. I got tons of compliments!

I was amazed by the quality of the construction & materials. The dress arrived with a couple snags & small holes, which is expected with any allover lace dress that is not brand new, but it wasn't anything too noticeable. I felt great & was comfortable dancing in this. It's warm with full sleeves, so it made sense for a December wedding, but I may have been a bit toasty if the heat was turned up. I was sad to return this one, it's absolutely gorgeous. The metallic can go either way, I wore gold jewelry with it, but you could easily go with silver if you prefer.

I love Rent the Runway. I was supposed to have a similar dress delivered to the DC store for a wedding, but due to inclement weather delivery was delayed. The DC store was so accommodating, pulling tons of dresses for me to try on. This was the stylist's favorite pick and she was right--it was a winner! It was a great fit/had a great silhouette, but was still appropriate for a wedding.

I received so many compliments on this dress! It fit great across the mid section despite the fitted nature of the dress. This is a great choice for a semi formal or formal party, especially around the holidays.

This dress was really an amazing dress and looks so beautiful. I wanted to wear it so badly but the issue is the fit on someone my height was a little strange. Since I'm so tall, the slight flare out on the hips sat near my waste line which made it look like I had a roll around my waste. It just wasn't flattering on someone my height but for someone shorter this dress is really a great looking dress.

Sleeves were a little itchy but I received a lot of compliments! Much better in person than in the photo.

Unfortunately neither size fit but liked the understated style, materials and careful construction. The dress was my first exposure into over $1000.00 and up designer clothing. I had read here and there this price point runs smaller in many cases. My dress choice was true to this and in addition the material had no give (stretch). It should be avoided totally by the apple shape woman. Would have love wearing this dress!

Sizing ran small

This dress runs so small, that I couldn't even get it over my head/shoulders! The fabric is more beautiful in person though, the pics don't do it justice! Maybe I'll lose weight and try it again lol
