Fit beautifully! Runs a bit big on top. Received lots of compliments!

The dress fit like it was tailored to me, the bottom didn't give much and i couldn't lift my arms very high, but I expected this given the over the shoulder and tea length look. I ordered the 8 an usually wear a 6, but I would recommend this dress to anyone attending a wedding or formal event. There's wire under the bra section that keeps the dress up and very sturdy. Absolutely beautiful dress!!!!

This Lela Rose is just lovely with a gorgeous fabric and elegant fit. The dress was snug in the hips, but seems designed to be a body hugging silhouette. If you get this dress, remember not to pull it up as high as you think it should go. The straps are meant to sit a few inches down from your shoulder. The 10 I wore had some boning popping through the fabric in the back, so check for that before you head out. It was irritating by the end of a long night. I felt gorgeous all night long in this stunner. Highly recommended.

I ordered both the 4 and 6 as I'm about 6 months along and much bigger now in the chest and tummy. It was fitted in the perfect places and although the fabric didn't allow for stretch it did provide a little room to breath. The fabric and sheen looked and felt luxurious. The pictures truly do not do the dress justice. My only major complaint was that upon trying on both dresses the boning on each side, between my breasts and armpits, had come through the lining and was cutting into my skin. There wasn't an easy way to fix it so I didn't attempt to. The boning wasn't visible unless you were hovering inches away. I would definitely rent this dress again!

I knew I would love the fit of this dress -especially in the top. I'm currently between dress sizes after having had a baby. This dress ran a little tight in the bottom... I'm fitting comfortably in size 8 dresses now, but I wish I had rented the 10. I was expecting the fabric to be a bit more structured/thicker on the bottom, but it was thin, with no stretch. That being said, it is a gorgeous dress and I would definitely rent it again!

This was a replacement dress for my first choice that was not available for my bridal shower. I did not end up wearing this dress but it is a really beautiful dress! The fit is great, and it is a very thick material- it is a tad tight on the tush and restricting by the arms, which is why I chose a more comfortable dress since I knew I would be sitting down opening gifts and wanted to be able to be comfortable. The length is great for a tall person, hit me right above my knees. Would recommend this dress to anyone needing a gorgeous summery dress!

It is a challenge to zip (small zipper pull and sticky zipper) and the front gapes a bit, showing the white support fabric underneath, but that said, this dress is stunning. You will not be disappointed. It is curve hugging around the hips, but it was still flattering. I took an informal vote among friends and this dress was the winner over the other pink dress I chose for Valentine's Day.

I wore this dress to a close friend's June wedding. I wore a size larger than my usual size not because the dress runs small but because I had put on a couple pounds from eating all of the delicious things and the hip in the size 4 was a little too snug. The dress was very well made and I received many compliments. There is some serious boning in the shoulders of the dress - you will not be doing any wild arm movements in this dress but foregoing the YMCA dance is a small price to pay to wear such a gorgeous dress.

Wore this dress to a wedding over Memorial Day weekend. The colors, fabric, and overall design are great and It looked beautiful. However, the dress runs small. While other reviewers found the dress to be small in the skirt, my problem area is my chest and, as such, that is where I had an issue with the dress. I found it to be very restricting around the rib cage, so I would caution big chested renters. That said, it did give the effect of Joan from "Mad Men"! Another thing to note is that the design of the arm straps makes it difficult to raise your arms. Don't plan on catching any bouquets in this dress!

Really beautiful material, print and colors. I receieved many compliments and the dress fit my body shape well. Although, it was very tight on the bum, the material had zero stretch and was quite binding, and the cap sleeves were restrictive. I'm usually a size 8, and ended up wearing that, the 10 was looser fitting, and might have been more comfortable, so lesson learned. The bottom hem of the 8 is beginning to loosen and is slightly visible - needs to be tailored / adjusted. Overall I loved the way the dress made me look, but would opt for something more comfortable for an all night / wedding type event.

This dress is beautiful, although the skirt is very narrow and not intended for someone with any hips or butt. The neckline is gorgeous, but you will need double sided tape to keep it in place (unless you like your bra and/or breast showing when you bend over). The material is very heavy and a photographs a lot more vibrant than it looks in person. I would recommend sizing up. My usual size is an 8. I ordered the 8 and 10 as a back up, and neither fit. I measured the inside of each dress, and they both had the same measurements. The dress has very little stretch, and, if I wanted to be the center of attention, I could have squeezed into either. I decided to have the 12 sent to me, and it was big, but a lot more comfortable than either the 8 or the 10.

I loved this dress so much, but unfortunately could not wear it. Both sizes were simply too tight in the hip area for me to feel comfortable wearing. The dress is very structured and has no give. If I had gone up to a size 4, the straps would have been too loose. It is a very well made, gorgeous dress though.

I ordered the 4 and the 6 as I always do from RTR. Always wear the 4, but on this one I needed the extra room in the hips, so chose the 6. I probably could have worn the 4 with spanx. Of course, a strapless bra or adhesive boobs. Length was perfect for 5'5" and 123 lbs. Received compliments from strangers. Dress is really too nice for costume jewelry. Perfect for a summer formal, indoor wedding. BTW, my daughter's dress and necklace is also RTR.

I knew the 4 was risky since the reviews said it was snug in the hips & it definitely is... However, I managed to get myself into it & it was just lovely! Using the bathroom was a challenge but worth it. The off the shoulder neckline was so feminine, flirty, & flattering... Fit perfectly there; had I sized up to a 6 I feel the top may have been too big. Love this dress & loved wearing it.

I wore this to my bridal shower and it was a huge hit. Perfect for the occasion. I am tall, have moderate curves and a small bust and this was perfect on my body. The other reviewers are right that it has very little give and you will initially feel like a T-Rex with short arms because you really can't have full use of your arms in this dress. But that's ok. It's so gorgeous it is worth a little sacrifice. There's not a ton of give in any other part of the dress, either. Good for smaller busts, I don't think the top has tons of room, either. There was a minor issue with the boning poking out and the metal hurting, but I put a tiny piece of duct tape on the edge and it was perfect, I never felt it the entire day. I wish I owned this dress.

Listen to the reviews! It runs true to size or a little small depending on how curvy you are. It is uncomfortable to wear. Reviews said it, but I wanted to wear it anyway, so I did. It was my rehearsal dinner so in some ways, I don't regret it, but I was definitely glad to take it off at the end of the night! For one night, though, if you are motivated by getting the right look vs. comfort, it could be worth it!

I wore this to a wedding in Madison and got compliments all night and the next day! The neckline is so flattering, and I found the rest of the dress was very comfortable in a size 4. The drawback to the neckline is that it makes it pretty hard to lift your arms higher than shoulder height. Also, some of the ribbing on the side kind of dug into me by the end of the night. Otherwise it's beautiful and I think you should give it a try!

This was a beautiful, unique dress. The key is having it fit just right so I wore the 0 instead of the 2. I agree with the other reviews that it is not really that comfortable but it is so worth it! I got so many compliments. Thank you rent the runway!

This is not a comfortable dress. The hips are tight; the bust is loose, and the boning will cut into your sides. But BOY, will you look like a million bucks!!! It was stunning. Compliments all night. It definitely made an impression at my work awards dinner. Then I changed so into a dress I own so I could dance. This dress constricts your arms, so you'll look great but not comfortable! Proceed with caution. You won't regret the compliments, just the temporary pain!!

Props: The dress is absolutely Gorgeous! It is true to size and it makes your body look perfect. You can perfectly stand and walk in this dress and noone will stay calm. You can get all the compliments in the world with this dress. The material is very nice and beautiful. BUT as we know being beautiful requires some sacrifices. :) Cons: You cannot fix your hair or make up, since you cannot rise your hand. It is a challenge to go to the bathroom, since it is very hard to bring this dress up, it fits very tight. Overall sitting is possible only if you bring it a little bit up, but getting in/out the car was not fun. I needed my husband to help me get into the dress, wasn't able to do it myself. I tried 1 size bigger, but it was still impossible and the dress fitted much worse. At list I was able to get out of it by myself :) I had to wear tightening bra as the dress will not close otherwise, but as a bonus the dress itself works better than any push-up to make you breast look gorgeous. And the last thing - it will work for you only if you act like a lady and keep you back very straight, unless you want to show your beautiful breasts to anyone around. Especially hard when trying to wash your hands. :) Still it was the most beautiful birthday dress ever it it with worth it. :) But I guess for me it was one-time experience. Thanks

I love this dress, I rented it for a christening party- a lot of guests complemented on my dress - it was a great choice. It is a tied fitting dress that complements your figure but that has its limits on the movements, especially raising arms or getting in out of a car, but still,I would rent it again for sure !

I felt like a movie star in this dress -- the perfect cross-section of ladylike and sexy. Definitely an all-time favorite.

I ended up wearing my first chose (also a Lela rose) but this dress is also very special. Makes waist and booty look really nice. Nips a the waist. Sexy but very elegant. Great fabric. Limited mobility but it does fit like a glove so worth the sacrifice!

Great dress! Colors are so beautiful. It photographs really nicely. Really a standout dress. My only problem was that it was too big in the shoulders but I have very narrow shoulders. My sis and best friend are both going to rent it for upcoming parties. They loved it so much!

The picture of this dress doesn't do it justice. The satin fabric and colors are so much more vibrant and the fit made it sexier than the image. I wanted it fitted so I went with the 0 over the 2 and it was a bit uncomfortable by the end of the night. The boning would poke me every so often which wasn't great. Also, you should know in advance that you CANNOT lift you arms above your head in this!! So dancing is maybe made more challenging. Overall those things didn't matter enough to me because the dress is so beautiful and I would wear it again despite those issues. I got loads of compliments and it photographed beautifully.

This dress fits HUGE off the rack! It completely swamped my figure.

Lovely dress, form fitting, yet classy. Unfortunately, the fit was a bit awkward. The size 0 fit, but because of the off the shoulder style, I wasn't able to lift my arms up. The size 2 was too big. I ended up sending the dress back. I really wish it worked out!

RTR sent this to me because my dress-of-choice wasn't available. I was NOT expecting to like it at all when I saw it in my shopping cart, but it was surprisingly beautiful. It's MUCH prettier in person. I thought the floral pattern might be too old for me, but it was quite nice actually. I couldn't wear it because i have wider hips and thighs so, although it zipped up just fine, I could not even think about sitting down in this dress. It hugged me way too tight in the bottom. Gorgeous if I was about 15 lbs lighter? :)

I had to rent this dress because of how the sleeves falls off the shoulder. I just gave birth so I worn spanks which surprisingly the dress was not tight. It was comfortable to sit and dance.

This is not a dress I asked for. RTR sent it to me as a backup because the dress I wanted was not available at the time of shipment. Let me first say that was very thoughtful of the RTR staff. Now on to the dress, this dress is very flattering and looked s e x ier on me than it does on the model, that being said it had too much va va voom for my daytime event. However, if I were attending an adult only occasion, I would have worn this instead of what I chose. :-)

This dress was really beautiful. Well made, high quality. As other reviewers noted, the boning is very uncomfortable, especially while sitting. Also very difficult to dance because of the off-the-shoulder style, but you definitely know what you're signing up for there. I had an issue with the zipper and almost couldn't wear the dress. The fit was perfect, so it wasn't that it was too snug, but the zipper kept getting stuck at the waist seam.
