Really pretty draping/folds on the chest and hips. A very classic silhouette, but the print an draping details make it gorgeous.

Dress fits well, a tad bit loose in the waste, so would size down if you needed to.

The overall fit of this dress is small. The folds in the front are a little bit awkward how they lay. maybe if I had ironed it or something it would have laid more flat and looked better. it was a nice dress for the event but not much of a showstopper.

I loved this dress, and felt fabulous wearing it. But, once I saw the photos, I felt like the detailing in the middle had been quite unflattering. Probably not the best choice for curvier broads.

It was a bit hard to zip up and it was a bit snug on my ribs. Other than that, it was a beautiful fit! I had complements all night!

I usually run between a size 4 and 6. I went with the 6 on this dress since there wasn't much give in the fabric and we were having a full dinner at the reception. The dress was great dressed up with nude heels and the multiple colors made it easy for my date to match!

Lela Rose is a favorite brand for the gorgeous fabric and flawless fit and this dress did not disappoint in those regards. Elements of the fabric have just a little shimmer making the dress party-perfect, but not too dressy. This is a dress I wouldn't mind having in my closet for a night out or a performance as well. Unfortunately, the dress I rented was probably ready to retire the runway as the stitching around the zipper had come loose, the hem in front stuck out a bit (perhaps from too much mending/drycleaning), and there was a hint of a BO smell that only surfaced after I was in it about 30 minutes and it became body-temperature. Assuming that was just an issue with the dress I had, I would definitely recommend the dress.

I was hesitant to rent this dress as there weren't too many reviews for it - I am so glad I took the chance. I can't wait to rent this dress again. I rented it for a work event and fell in love. It's a bit on the longer side for us tall girls which is nice. The fit is amazing - for busty girls with hips - it tucks and pulls in all the right places. There is a lot of fabric but I felt so comfortable in the this dress. The fabric is also quite heavy so would not be a good choice for a hot summer day but perfect for a cooler fall event. The color is also so nice - purples and golds. Got compliments all day long. Rent. This. Dress.

The dress is beautiful and the fabric is nice and thick, perfect for the fall. The size 2 did not zip up. I had to use the size 4 which was kind of big in the chest area. The dress had also been worn many times so the stitching on the top and bottom kept showing. A bit annoying but overall beautiful dress and I received a lot of compliments. I would recommend.

This was my back-up. Usually in this brand I can size down to a 6 and if it's going to be tight it would be at the hips. However his dress fit like a glove until my ribs. I could not get it all the way zipped and I'm a b/c cup. It felt way too tight in the rib-cage area (in the photo it is not zipped all the way) so definitely include your normal size when you order. The dress itself is cut like a custom fitted dress and is extremely flattering. The colors are unique but there is enough black that it's easy to match shoes. The material is a thick brocade type with metallic threads which I feel makes it more suited for evening formal affairs. For the price and quality of this brand it is definitely one you should consider!

I wore this dress to a cousin's wedding and got tons of compliments on it. The layered fabric took a little adjusting to get it to lay in a way that wasn't bunching or abstract, but I thought it added a neat flair to the dress once I got it in the right place. The size 2 was a teensy bit snug but not uncomfortable (for sitting, standing, or dancing!) - the size 4 seemed baggy so I went with the 2. The zipper was REALLY tough but was helped with a little rub of zipper wax. The dress seemed well-worn, as a few of the interior seams (that no one could see but me) were a bit frayed, and there was a loose thread here and there, but overall it still looked great. It hugged my curves and was a really flattering dress. I'm 5'4" and it hit me right at the knee.

I wore this dress to a cocktail charity event and felt like the loveliest woman in the room! This dress was exactly as pictured with one exception. I am busty, 36D, and the neckline looked very different on me than it does on the model. Lots of cleavage! My husband didn't mind though! The fit was amazing and I am curvy, the fabric had just the right amount of give. I can see it looking lovely also on a figure less so, like the model pictured. Loved the colors and the bit of shimmer. I wore it with the necklace pictured and while it was lovely and did pair well with the dress, it was a bit over the top for me personally because of the aforementioned cleavage issue but overall I was delighted.

Awesome, stretchy, shimmery fabric. Super-confortable yet glamorous. Needed to go from day (with a jacket) to night (without) seamlessly.

I loved the dress, but I'm too short for it because on me it becomes a tea length dress. Also I'm not busty enough so while a size 2 fit me quite snug around the waist it boxed out from my bust. If you're an hourglass shape this dress would be perfect I think.

I didn't wear this, it had an odd fit in the bust, (probably better on a smaller bust) also felt to tight through out. GO a size up for your back up!

I am 5'5", 125-130 lbs, B cup size and this dress wouldn't zip. Fabric and color was otherwise gorgeous!

This dress fit amazingly well and really accentuated the right areas of my body. The pattern is beautiful, the neckline was beautiful, everything was beautiful. I'd rent this again.

I ordered a 4 but was unable to wear it to the rehearsal dinner I was planning to wear it to because it was too tight around my rib cage. The dress is beautiful though and would have been very flattering had I been able to zip it all the way.

This was my backup dress, but I would have been very happy if it was my primary pick. The cut and fit are very flattering. Nice colors. It's classic with a little twist of fun.

The fit was great. I got a size 10 and it was great everyone except the bust. This dress is not for busty girls. If I had gotten a size 12 it would have fit in the bust but not anywhere else. It required some manipulation for that part to fit but even with that it was still very comfortable.

Usually, I'm anywhere between sizes US 6-8. Actually, the asymmetrical rousing in the midsection would have made the 8 fit as perfect as the 6 and I would have had more room to zip (and breath lol). The fabric had gorgeous metallic threads in the print, which made it look almost holographic. The style reminded me of the dresses I see my grandmother & her girlfriends wear wore at cocktail parties. LOVE it!

Overall, this was a good rental experience. The fit of the dress was pretty flattering on me, the colors were pretty and it was fairly comfortable for the 8+ hours I wore it. I got lots of compliments and I really liked the colors. I wore this with gold shoes and gold accessories, but also could have worn it with black, purple, mustard, etc. That said, I wore this to an outdoor wedding, and because the material was so thick and heavy, it definitely got hot and a bit scratchy. I would recommend this for a non-summer or indoor event. The extra material around the hips could be a challenge for those who want to minimize that area, but my hips are narrow, and it worked fine for me. On the dress I rented, the hem was uneven and I needed to tape it up with fashion tape, so be prepared. Also, it's not the most youthful or exciting dress in the world. You could wear this at any age, but seems more suited for a conservative event and/or age 40+.

The print and fabric are stunning; the colors are better in person than on the website; and the neckline is extremely flattering. The draping over the hips adds a bit of girth, and the fabric is thick so this is not a dress for summer.

Despite being listed in the category for "Full Bust," there is not ample room for an actual full bust. I usually wear size 6, and the dress fit me at the waist and hips, but barely zipped over my chest, even without a bra. I am a size 38E. There is no stretch, either. Otherwise, the dress is lovely, with an elegant pattern that isn't too showy. It hit me right at the knee.

All things considered - my height & weight as compared to my 36 bra band - the LelaRose Monet Garden Dress fit very true to size. It hit me at the narrow part of the leg just under the knee and I thought it was a flattering & demure length; of course, you could shorten it w/hem tape if you prefer. There are terrific little bra strap holders and I taped the neckline of the dress to my bra - my normal everyday bra - so it wouldn't show if I leaned forward. Perfect. The colors shown are accurate. I reached a little beyond my comfort zone and, for a noon wedding luncheon at a restaurant, I was perfectly dressed. I wore it with smashing purple suede pumps - the black in the dress is not quite black enough to match with other blacks - and the Ella Carter Kai earrings; a fine wool crepe blazer took care of the chill and it worked nicely with the ruched sheath. I gave the dress only four stars because it was a bit frayed around the cap sleeves - loved the cap sleeves - and there were lots of long threads. Needless to say, thanks again to the two brilliant women who created RTR, so we can all dress and feel like a million bucks!

I did not wear this. I ordered a size up from my normal size, and I still couldn't zip it up. Definitely size up.

Runs really small...at least I think that's the problem...there is no actual size in the dress I received (just a bar code). But I always fluctuate between a 4 and 6 depending on the designer, and this dress in a 6 I could not even zip up. Pretty dress if they got the sizing right. If you do order it, go up a size and order back up.

The bust area was tight for the 2 and loose for the 4. Overall, I was not a fan of the material, it felt too heavy on me and the pattern wasn't what I expected in person versus what I saw online. It was disappointing but oh well.
