I would rent this dress over and over again. Loved it!

I wore this to a formal, winter wedding. The dress has a bit of stretch and accentuates in all the right places! Loved wearing this dress!

Was a little baggy in the waist.

This dress fits like a glove but not in an uncomfortable way. I appreciated the area in the midsection that bunched to the side. I could eat and drink all night and not have to worry about it showing. Someone could wear this first trimester if they wanted to. My husband did not want me to return the dress. I have no complaints in fact I might rent the same dress again.

I loved how classic and elegant I felt in this dress! If you are fuller busted this may not be the best option as it works best for A to C cup sizes. I would recommend going up a size for back up as the fabric has no stretch. This dress would look great with textured tights and black pumps, perfect for any holiday party!

This dress worked great for a formal work party at the art museum. It was nice because I could wear a regular bra with it. I am still unsure of my size after having a baby (normally I'm a 4) I guessed and went with an 8 and I think it ran true to size, was a little bit roomy. The dress was very comfortable.

The feel of the material is awesome. It runs small at the top but the bottom runs more true to size. I would have sized up knowing what I know now.

I loved the blue an black combo, a nice change from the typical LBD, and I liked the festive side accent and slit. I added a shrug of my own and black strappy heels. Note that you may want to wear a strapless bra or bustier as straps won't be well covered. A little generous on me in the shoulder, but nothing major.

I went to the Henry Bendel store to try on dresses and this one was my favorite. I tired on size 10 in the store and it was too big. The lady that assisted me with the dresses said that 8 should fit just fine, as they were out of the size 6 when ordering the dress online. But it turned out that the 8 was still too big all over. I had it hemmed which helped a bit. I would rent this again but with a smaller size. PRO: Very responsive on the initial inquiry to set up an appointment at the Henry Bendel store. Order your dress in the store. Offered free complementary hemming. Dress arrived a day early. CON: The 800 number on the invoice was impossible to connect. Overnight shipping for another size is useless when there is always a busy signal. Not enough time to get a back up dress from RTW when your dress doesn't fit.

The armholes on this dress are very low...and, I am a bit self conscious about some wiggly-ness under my arms so this dress was not the best choice for me. But, I made it work by addind little sleeves connected to my bra-straps underneath and it made me feel better. Also, the zipper on this dress is CRAP. The manufacturer should have paid the extra 25 cents to put in a metal zipper. If the dress is even a bit snug, you will need to fight with it. I made it work and the dress is pretty and felt very nicely dressed for my friend's wedding.

I'm tall and thin, so I wasn't sure if this size would fit (there were no backup sizes available), but it fit perfectly! It was a bit loose around my hips/low waist, but the cut of the fabric, with the gathering on the side made it look natural. The air holes were perfect for my athletic shoulders/arms, and the neckline was flattering on my wide shoulders. Having long legs (36" inseam) I worry about dresses being too short, but the length was great for a classy party, falling a few inches above my knees. My particular dress seemed to be ironed wrong, or something wasn't quite lined up on the bottom hem, but it wasn't something that anyone but me would have noticed!

I loved the shape of this dress. The gathering in the front allowed me to sit without getting the dress wrinkled, I even wore it to work the entire day and then to the event after. I got so many compliments, felt very comfortable and found the dress to be beautiful! The blue and black was an interesting twist while still subtle. The side skirt added curves in the right places, giving the waist a slimmer look. Highly recommend!

The dress was beautiful. The blend of colors and the fun tail gave the dress a very unique look. The fabric has no give so make sure you order your size.

It fits like any sheath. However the hem is out of whack which takes away from the little hip feather effect. Many compliments on it being low key but unique because of the details.

This dress was true to size and fit great. I loved the style and look and got many compliments. The only thing I wish I'd known is that the material is pretty thick. I rented it for a very formal outdoor summer wedding, and it would have been more fitting for a winter affair. Overall though, great dress.

although I am an 8 the 10 fit perfectly. The hem has some problems and did not hang correctly I had to use a few straight pins to get it to lay flat.

It was perfect. I was going between 2 dresses for NYE and although I LOVED this dress, the other one worked better for NYE. I'm normally a size 10 but I got the size 8 based on other reviews and it definitely fit PERFECTLY. The dress is very elegant. The flyaway piece wasn't too out there, it lay pretty flat on the body but it gave the dress something extra, without adding any bulk to the hip area. I will be renting this again if I can find another event to wear it to!

Awesome fit

Fit is unusually loose in the hip and waist area. I'm a curvy girl and that usually doesn't happen. Fabric is thick and double layered. Not for an outside wedding. Too hot.

The black and navy makes it not boring, but the cut is classic. It fits in anywhere? I kept sitting on the side detail, but it wasn't a big deal. It was comfy and I felt good all night.

It was gorgeous! The photos don't do it justice. The stylist sent this to me after my original dress was damaged. It wasn't appropriate for the event I was attending, so I didnt wear it. However, it fit like a glove and would definitely be appropriate for a cocktail party or work event. It was chic, but not stuffy. It was fitted, maybe runs a tiny bit small, but looked great. The only con was the side zipper...which...was sticky from the dry cleaning and hard to get up!

I got so many compliment’s for this dress. It was perfect for a fall wedding and I was super comfortable in it. I almost didn't send it back :(

I really loved this dress. I rented it to attend a wedding and it was perfect for the occasion. The colors and silhouette make it timeless and the print and side ruffled "fin/tail" made it unique. The only con was that it has NO stretch so to get it to fit my bust it was a bit loose in the waist. I fixed that by slightly gathering the fabric where the ruffle meets the dress (since its gathered there anyway) and pinning it tighter with a broach. After I did that it was PERFECT. Very high quality fabric and construction. I would rent this again!

Loved the fun detail with the "wing" on one side. Snug, figure hugging fit but forgiving enough for girls with hips.

I rented this dress as a backup when I needed to replace a size of the dress I had ordered. This dress is special and unique, and I loved it. I wound up wearing something else, but only because this dress was a little heavy, and I was attending a summer wedding. I'll definitely be renting it in the fall!

Dress fit nicely, got a lot of compliments on it at the party i went to. Great for my winter holiday party, fabric weight felt nice and the dress was nicely lined. One note though, I received this dress and the wing (if that's what you call the extra piece of fabric) was pretty wrinkled and I should have pressed it or steamed it to get rid of them, and I think that would have made a big difference in the way it hung on me.

This dress had the perfect balance of cute, trendy, conservative, and stylish (for me). It had some flair that made it more than just a sheath dress - I was excited to try it on. Unfortunately it didn't work out, did not zip up -- i think it runs small.

The fabric of this dress is a bit heavy and bulky, so it dwarfed my petite frame, and looked quite wide in the waist (I have a small waist). Also, the dress arrived very wrinkled, and the wrinkles wouldn't come out with steam. It is not nearly as fitted as it seems on the model. I couldn't wear it so I sent it back.

This dress was just "ok", especially for the price. The subtle details that I thought would make this dress fun, were too subtle for effect. The gather at the side laid very flat, and the color variations in the fabric were too similar to even show up in the lighting of a formal event. It is also very long. On the positive size, it was very easy to wear . The fabric and construction were beautiful. I am very busty and that was not a problem. I loved that it was navy and not black. I thought it was age appropriate. I actually think it would make a great bridesmaid dress.

I wore this gorgeous dress for my son's Bar Mitzvah service. I initially planned to wear it for the evening reception, but decided I wanted more of a party dress because it was a nightclub event. This dress totally hit the mark for the morning -- elegant, conservative enough, but with style and flair. Wow. The colors, the fabric (the lining is INCREDIBLY SOFT!), the FIT! The amazing fit! Only thing is I wish I could have hemmed it. I am only 5'3" and could have used a 2" hem to get it just above my knee.

The smaller size looked good, but it wasn't the perfect fit so I couldn't wear it. I will definitely try to find this dress again for a future event.

It is true to size. I wear a size 6 and it fit truly like a six. I would have also been okay with an 8 and would have still fit stunning. The zip is a little hard to zip so, you will need some help getting it zipped.

Lovely dress, I knew from reviews that it ran small in the bust and my back up size wasn't available, and yes, it was too loose in the waist and too tight in the bust for me.

Well made, very pretty dress. Received many complements. Only downside was the hem that refused to cooperate. In hindsight, seems like others have had the same issue (not same dress as size was different). I tried pinning it on the inside, but it didn't help. It may seem a small detail, but I was going to be on a platform giving a short speech (eek) and it made me a little self conscience.
