I have very full wide hips so I always get nervous renting a dress with little to no give. This dress was great! The flaps in the middle were unique and the print fun. The flaps don't do too much to help flatter the figure though. Overall true to size and I loved it!

I wore this dress to work followed by a fundraiser. It is very glamorous, sexy, and work appropriate. It fit me like a glove. I have a big butt, and this dress must have made it look good because I had at least ten compliments from random people on my butt/figure. I am only 5'2", and I was tempted to use hem tape on the dress, but I decided that the midi length made it look more designer. I wore it with a string of pearls to work and with the Slate and Willow Moonstone necklace to the fundraiser. I have already rented this dress again.

Gorgeous dress. Thick fabric gives the dress a well-constructed and high quality feel. Wore it to a Mother's Day Brunch at a golf club. Did need to wear spanks underneath to give a nice, smooth look. Would definitely recommend as an alternative to a dress suit. Loved that I didn't have to hide my bra straps.

Attended my hubby's business award ceremony in this, felt very in place amidst the guys in suits and whatnot. Hubby said I had a sexy Librarian look going on. I went with 12 for the fitted bust and the waist was loose but overall fit fine.

Fit perfectly on my chest, however if you have a larger bust size, I suggest sizing up.

I wore this dress to a business function. Being 5'10, it was the perfect length. I ordered the 8 and the 6. The 6 was a much better fit. This dress is meant to be fitted. If it is loose, it errs on the side of being a bit dowdy and boring, When it fits your form, it is very flattering and comfortable for an all-day business function as well. The fabric is thick enough that it hugs your curves without needing to wear spanx!

The dress has a nice weight to it, so it's very flattering (esp. with the peplum.) I wore it to a fashion work event, and felt totally comfortable, appropriate, and stylish. Also got a ton of compliments from some pretty picky people.

I loved the fit of this dress, it was very comfortable!! I felt so chic and sophisticated the entire time I had it on. It did seem to hit me a little long length wise, but that could easily be fixed with a bit of hem tape. The white piping of this dress is a very flattering attribute. This is a great dress all around and accentuates your body in all the right areas.

This was my free birthday dress (for my Pro membership) and I didn't have a "special occasion" so I ordered a dress I could wear to work. When I walked in to class (I'm a college professor) 3 students shouted out at the same time, "I love your dress!!!" Then they argued about who liked it first. :) I would definitely recommend the dress to most people--but perhaps not to other pear shapes, like myself. I did have to tug at the skirt now and then to keep it from riding up. But the fabric was amazing and since it has a little stretch, it was so comfortable to wear all day. There was an issue with my 2nd size for the dress, so Rent The Runway sent me a second dress for free! I'll be wearing the second dress out tonight for my birthday dinner with my husband. I could get used to wearing two different designer dresses in one day!

This dress is perfect for a more professional setting, I received a ton of compliments. Very true to size, the arms were a little tight at armpit but overall it was a great fit and very long. The dress is a darker gray, almost black rather than the picture that looks lighter gray.

The dress got lots of compliments. It's pretty comfortable. A little (just a little) tight through the bust and arms. The hem at the bottom is a bit odd and folds up but it didn't really bother me. Overall, great outfit especially if you have to wear something from work to a cocktail event.

Loved the business look of this dress - it was exactly what I was looking for. I wore this for a client christmas party (work function). It was a very classy look. Fits true to size. VERY comfortable. Do not get the smaller size if you are trying to decide between the two, because my size 8 was ill fitting (I looked like a stuffed sausage). With this dress, a size bigger is better.

This dress was not exactly as imagined, but was still wonderful. The pattern isn't a print, but rather stitching detail all over the dress in a small 'leaf' sort of pattern. There is a lining, which made the dress a little warm, but not to the point of sweating because of it. It also fell a little longer than pictured but I was wearing a size 12 to accommodate my hips, so perhaps that just made it longer. I was very nervous about the peplum detail, because I generally cannot wear peplum due to my already sizable hips. But, it looked great, and was a clean peplum look, rather than ruffly. It was not too tight, fit just right all over, just was a couple inches past my knees instead of right at the knees, as shown. I received many compliments, and have to admit that I felt quite nice being in such a 'rich' dress! I wore black platform 5" heel open-toe pumps (even at my height). MUST wear a thong with this one, or panty lines will show through, even with heavier fabric! (Wish there was a better photo, but it works)

I rented this dress for professional headshots based on other reviews of women who rented for professional events. It was overall a good choice - the fit was good (true size 6), the print was interesting, and it was very high-quality. It wasn't really a showstopper, so I wouldn't rent for a social occasion, but it was good for my purposes.

Based on other reviews, I rented a 2 and a 4. The 2 fit perfectly at the waist, but it was far too constricting across the chest. I thought I could make it work, but I actually had a bit of trouble breathing after a few minutes. That's how tight it was. The 4 was comfortable snug across the chest, but the waist was loose. As a result, the overall look wasn't that flattering, because the dress' most interesting detail is its waist line. It's a nice dress and it obviously was a great choice for lots of other reviewers. It just fit oddly for me. I am between 5'5- 5'6, a 34C bust, and I weigh 120- 125 lbs.

For the most part , I liked this dress. The lines were very nice, and the fabric was beautiful. A good choice for a professional event. That being said, the arm holes seemed very small to me and cut into my shoulders every time I moved my arms. I did have a small problem with the skirt riding up a touch - but I'm not sure if that's partially because of the length, which for me was mid - knee (and I'm 5'10). Dress worked ok, but I would not rent again.

I wore this to the church for my daughter's communion and planned on wearing it at the party afterwards. However, it was WAY too long and not as comfortable as I would have liked. Material was very heavy and I was way too hot in it to wear it any longer than I had to. Wound up changing into something I already owned. Also, the coloring was much different than in the picture. Way more black to it than it looked like.

Classic peplum silhouette. It's a bit tight across the ribcage. Hits right below my knee. Great for dressy work outfit.

I was surprised how comfortable the fabric was since it looks so structured. That being said, the stretchiness of the fabric makes the bottom half look a little stretched out/wavy. The dress hit right below my knee, and I'm 5'2.

I liked the way this fit and felt - spent about 15 hours in it while working out annual convention (walking a ton, sitting, standing, etc). Later when I looked back at the pictures, I didn't think it did much for my curves. Seemed a bit frumpy in the pics.

I got the 6 and 8 and both fit fine, the dress has a little stretch, but I wore the 8 since it was a little more comfy, wore this to a Mother's Day dinner and it turned out great.

I rented this dress for my best friend's bridal shower. The size 4 fit me well. It felt a little snug at first in the upper body, but the material is a little stretchy and I was comfortable in it for nearly 8 hours. I received countless compliments on the way this looked. I'm 5'7'' and the hem fell to my knee. It was the perfect length. I paired it with nude wedges and it was easy to move around in!

I'm in-between sizes right now trying to lose the last of some "baby weight". I really liked this dress but being in-between sizes is my curse right now. I started with trying on the 12 and was at first unimpressed with it's matronly look and fit on me. I then tried the 10 on and going down that one size made a world of difference. I ended up not wearing the dress since it was slightly tighter in the chest than I would have liked and made me feel a little too self-conscious for the church service and event I was going to. I wore another dress from RTR instead. The 10 could have been worn, but the 12 felt more appropriate for church. If I had been wearing it anywhere else I would have probably gone slightly more fitted with the 10. Even though the 12 was a little looser it did not look matronly as some of the other dresses tend to if going up in size. Overall a winner and I will be looking for

I felt so professional in this photo. It's a lot longer than it looks in the picture, which was fine for me.... I'm 5 7 and have long legs and the dress came down way below my knees- which I like cause it was for work, but I felt like it was more of a mid-calf feel (I did wear flats though...) It's just a gorgeous dress- nice fit- felt so confident giving my talk in it.
