Worked perfectly with my tiara and wand for dressing up as “Princess”
Size 4 (my usual size) would have been perfect on me - size 2 was tight in the body. Skirt part has substantial fabric and lining - kept it’s shape. Has the clips to hold your bra strap at the shoulders. I wish I had gotten it a day earlier so I had time to iron it - you can see the wrinkles in my photo.

Gorgeous!!!!
This dress fit perfectly! It wasn't my first choice (the dress I ordered months ago was destroyed so RTR replaced it with this one). I must say that I love this dress and almost didn't return it!!! I think I could have gone with a 2 in this.

Incredibly flattering--runs very large.
I wore this dress to a charity fundraiser that I chaired, so I knew I needed a dress that would photograph well and stay in place while I was lifting boxes, moving around auction items and making speeches. This dress was perfect on all accounts. I wore a traditional bra with the straps lengthened an extra few centimeters for the back and I felt confident all night. I have worn Lela Rose before so I knew I should rent this dress in a small size since it had a loose bottom. I am normally between a 4 and an 8 wore a 2 and I actually think a 0 might have been even better. If you are very petite there may be other dresses that are better. As you can see from my pictures this dress is tea length, which was perfect for the conservative event I attended but something to be aware of if that isn't the look you want. The material looks expensive but it's polyester so I wasn't in love with the way it felt. A woman spilled a glass of white wine on the front of me and it was gone in minutes though--so that was definitely a benefit compared to silk. Overall I was thrilled with this rental--it fits very similarly to the Lela Rose Don't Mind if I Do dress, but even a little larger. It would be perfect for a family wedding, holiday party or an event in early Spring or Fall. I think the material would be hot for summer.

Beautiful dress, runs small in the bust but large in the waist. Looks best when it fits tightly.
This dress looks best if the waist fits tightly, but it is cut for a bust much smaller than mine (32F). I used fashion tape but it didn't hold and I was tugging at the neckline all night to keep my bra tucked in. I did really love the dress, though, and I got zillions of compliments. The party for which I rented it was 50a themed so I wore a petticoat under the dress for extra pouf. It does have its own layer of tulle for structure as well.

Great color and length!
This dress felt very luxe! I looooved the color and the tea length. I wore it for a fall wedding and it was perfect. My only issue (like other reviewers have said) is that it was a little low-cut. I used double-stick tape and seemed to be okay for most of the night. The material is a little on the heavier side, so I wouldn't suggest it for a summer event. Overall, it was a stunner!

I received tons of compliments on both the color and the dress itself. It was a great choice!
Many reviews said it ran big but I thought it ran true to size or even slightly small. Dress was very low cut and I had to pin it. Texture was great and otherwise fit very well.

Beautiful Dress!
I positively loved this dress! This was my first time using RTR and after this event, I'd definitely do it again! I wore it to a September wedding and it was comfortable to sit, stand and dance. I'm glad I went a size down for my backup, because the 6 I usually wear was way to big. There was no need for a slip or any special undergarments. I wore a regular bra (there are clips in the dress to make sure the straps stay hidden). The v-neck is very deep, and I did need to use lingerie tape to keep from flashing everyone. Definitely meant for girls with bigger busts than mine. But all around, I loved it. The color is slightly more green in person than on the computer as well.

This dress was so beautiful, and the color is STUNNING. When I first tried it on, I noticed the fit was incredibly flattering for a woman with curves like me, but when it came time to pin the neckline (which is way too low), it sort of lost it's flattering shape and I felt a bit frumpy. I did get a ton of compliments, so maybe some of that was in my head... Oh! and it comes super, super wrinkled. Make sure you get it steamed before wearing.

Runs Large Fitted at waist Flowy and Glamorous Will arrive wrinkled!
I really enjoyed wearing this dress. I am 5'5" and it was a perfect "tea" length on me. I usually wear a size 4, but the 2 here was best. I did not have the same experience as some of the other women with the neckline, and I am a 32 DD (just make sure you have a good bra that doesn't add too much to your bust!). The biggest con was simply that it arrived extremely wrinkled and it took a few more passes with my steamer than other dresses I have worn before - so leave time to get it in shape before you plan to walk out the door.

Comically unflattering-- glad I had a back up
I rented this as a rehearsal dinner dress for my wedding because it went great with the wedding theme's colors. The pics on the model don't do this dress's color justice-- it is a rich, emerald green with a shiny texture-- almost like a snakeskin. It's a stunningly beautiful material. Then we get to the fit-- I have large boobs, and there was no way that this is designed for a person who is a size 12. This dress has a weird belt/sash thing attached that seemed like it didn't quite fit the design and size. The bodice fit me around the rib cage, but then the neckline/cut went WAY below my boobs. I tried it with and without a bra-- there's no way I was wearing that for a classy event. The skirt length was long/tea length, which would have been really classy and pretty. Instead, the party-up-top cut with the classy skirt? Not so much. Oh well!

Great color and styling but challenging fit!
I carefully read reviews before renting this dress so wasn't surprised it was low cut. But the fit overall was very generous, wish the dress came in a petite size. Pros: gorgeous, rich color and easy classic style. Fabric has a subtle, tone on tone flower print. Easy to wear, had some volume to the skirt and easy to move in. Cons: cut very generously and seems to long everywhere (overall length and length of torso especially). Have safety pins ready!

Bridal Shower Dress Complete With Compliments
The size 8 was my back up size, so I sized down from a 10. The back zipped up tightly, but the straps were a bit too long, so I spent a fair deal of time hiking up the straps so I wouldn't offend anyone with my cleavage at my shower. I safety-pinned it like other had suggested, but my safety pin fu must be weak. I did receive a ton of compliments on it. And I also took others advice and got it a day in advance so I could take some of the wrinkles out of it. (Tons of wrinkles....)

I wore this to my cousin's rehearsal dinner and I got a lot of compliments. The fit is very flattering. Like others, I did have trouble with the low cut neckline. I had to pin it and it bunched a little weird.

Cute but runs small
Lela Rose always runs small and I was surprised to see a review saying this ran big. It is very fitted in the waist so if you are bigger in the waist this will not be flattering. At time of rental I was somewhere in the 10-12 range and could not zip this up. It's also better for someone tall, at 5'3 I found the length overwhelmed me. Otherwise a beautiful dress.

lovely dress, few flaws
So for the price you would expect this to be a spectacular dress....and it was lovely, but there were a few things that I struggled with. First the fabric wrinkled a lot so it never looked as flowy and lovely as the photo on RTR shows. Second, I'm relatively busty and the cut was really low cut for someone who's busty so I found myself tugging on the low cut bodice throughout the night to make sure it covered up my low cut bra. I did love that it had a pettycoat and the dress itself was very dramatic, but it was a dress that I feel like I struggled too much with for the cost of renting the dress.

The plunging neck line of this dress made it impossible for me to wear.
Beautiful fabric and color to die for. I was so disappointed not to be able to wear it to my daughter's graduation. The front gapped open when ever I sat down or relaxed my shoulders. I didn't want to try to pin it because the fabric is so delicate.

New Years Eve 50's Style
Rented this for New Years Eve with my boyfriend and his parents at a formal affair. The four was a little large but the 2 was a little small so i ended up going with the 4. It did look a bit large as the fabric is heavy so i suggest renting our true size. The fabric is also an odd material in that it will never look like you haven't slept in it. The cut on the neck is also much much lower than on the model, they must have pinned it which is what i did. Overall it was a nice dress, not sexy but still fun. I would suggest getting something for underneath to give it a bit more pop as it lays much flatter.

Nice, but a little off
Definitely runs large. I rented an 8 with a 6 as a backup and ended up with the 6 still being too large. Luckily I had another backup dress for the event I was attending. The fit is sort of odd also- seemed tight in the bust, but too large in the waist. There is nothing holding the v of the neckline shut so if you have any sort of a bust, you are going to need to safety pin a great deal. The fabric is beautiful and it feels amazing however. It is also tea length on me, not knee length as seen on the model, just something to think about if you are shorter.

Pretty dress, flattering, but overall just ok.
I received this dress as a backup when my original was unavailable. I found that it didn't photograph well and was much prettier in person. As other reviewers noted it does seem to run large however the only difference in fit that I noticed between the 8 and 10 (my normal size) was the bust. The neckline on the 8 was entirely too low, but the 10 was fine so I wore that one. The skirt is very full and has a layer of netting. That coupled with the length make it fairly formal, which was appropriate for my occasion. I'm 5'7" and it came to just below my knee, so I can see why it might overwhelm a shorter frame. The shape was flattering to me since I have a smaller bust and waist but large hips and it was nice not to have to wear spanx. I gave it three stars because it was pretty, but just lacked a "wow" factor to make it truly special. Overall I ended up being disappointed I couldn't wear the original.

Boobs were falling out
The dress is a very pretty fabric. I am very chesty and have a smaller waist, so the portions did not work for me. It was also VERY low cut (center of my bra totally exposed). It may have worked if I had gone down a size, and it also may be better for smaller chested women.

Best for long torso/heavy top
Neckline too low to wear for me and straps too long. Usually wear an 8 and the 6 which fits better in the waist is still too low cut to be wearable. Didn't end up wearing dress. Definitely size down if renting.

Neckline way too low
I could not wear this dress because the neckline was inappropriately low, and I did not have the bust to fill it. I did not feel it was one of those "well I'll just wear it anyway and it'll look fine to everyone else" kind of dresses. It otherwise would have been a fun party dress.

Not the best fit.
Straps were loose and the dress is much more low cut than it looks on the model. Also, for a curvier figure, not the most flattering. I wound up sending this back for a different dress.

Not for the busty among us!!
I chose this dress because of the lovely color and even after renting and returning I still love the color. Unfortunately (in this instance) I am a 36DD and there was not enough fabric to cover my chest. Also the dress very nearly reached the ground on my 4'll" frame. No this is not the dress for the busty or short woman. On a bright note I was able to give my friends a good laugh upon seeing my photo in the dress (not uploaded because its horrifying)! Sadly I had to run out the night before the wedding to find a dress. But I was pleased with the replacement...all in all in easy return and entire process. I would do it again... with a different dress.

Terrible fit on the upper body.
Although this dress "fit," the V neckline was so low that I could not wear it. There was not enough fabric to even pin it together for modesty. I have larger breasts, but the picture did not show this dress with such a plunging neckline.

A fun dress to dance in!
Great and really fun dress - would completely recommend. Two words of caution: (1) It's a surprisingly dramatic dress - if the event I was going to were less festive/over the top, I might have felt a bit too showy in it; (2) It's pretty low-cut, so I pinned it to avoid any inadvertent flashing.

It was a lovely wedding for some good friends.
This dress was fun in the picture, and I thought would be a lovely dress to wear to a wedding. It did fit nicely. Unfortunately, it was too large in the chest and too low. I tried taping it, but with the nature of the material, it kept popping up and riding down. I spent the wedding with my pashmina draped across my shoulders, covering my chest. As soon as I could, I changed out of it.
