I was so excited to get this dress for a wedding. And it did not disappoint! I got the 8 and the 10 just in case but no matter. The 8 fit like a glove. I got compliments all night! I was counting on the empire waist being a little tighter due to the other reviews and they were right. But I'm also tall with a long torso so it worked out. I also found that you really do not need to wear a bra with this if you're a B cup or up.If I did, the goods would have been pushed up to my chin! I was so sad to send it back. I have been searching for the dress to purchase ever since! Love this dress and can't speak highly enough about it.

Love this dress! I wore it to a charity fashion show that I put together. I got tons of compliments! It fit pretty true to size. The top was a bit big on me, but it was was easy enough to tack up on the shoulders. I would definitely recommend it!

I needed a dress for my daughters first communion. This dress was perfect! The reception was at a country club. I wore a sweater for the church to cover my shoulders (our parish is strict with that) and it worked well with it. I had spotted this dress early in my search but, put my computer aside and went to the mall. I brought home a bunch of great dresses but, none were really feeling right. (to judge sizes... i fit into 2 or 0) I remembered rent the runway on the Wednesday before the event. I called and spoke to a stylist (Talia). We had so much fun shopping around and when we saw that this dress was available, I snagged it! It was now Thursday. I needed to rush my order but, had it the next day. I probably could have used the zero but it was unavailable. The neckline was a little gappy and the smaller size may have been more snug.... A better fit. I have a small bust line and my chest and torso are rather small and narrow. i wear xs in tops and zero in jeans. I used fashion tape to the neckline and felt more comfortable as I didn't have to readjust my dress all day. The bottom flares and has some puff to it. There is a layer of toole in the skirt. This dress had people in awe. It is amazing and I would love to have a reason to wear it again. I wish there were more pictures of me in it but, I'm usually behind the camera. ... And it was my daughter's day anyway. If you like this dress on your computer screen... You will LOVE LOVE LOVE it in person and feel so special wearing it!!

This dress was my absolute fav! It was so beautiful, feminine, light, romantic...I could go on with the adjectives! Great fit, if you don't have a large chest, no need for a bra! The only one thing I could see people having issue with is that the bottom of the dress, is really puffy so it might make your hips a bit bigger.

This is the perfect spring dress. I wore it to church and my birthday brunch after. It does have a deep neckline, but it was not inappropriate at all. I just covered it with a lavender cardigan. This dress is feminine, sexy, and so comfortable. I didn't want to take it off!

I tried this dress on at Saks 5th Avenue on a whim last year. I didn't have an occasion to buy it for at the time, but then I got engaged and boom - I needed the perfect bridal shower dress! I couldn't believe I found it on Rent The Runway! It was meant to be. The 8 fit perfectly, but I felt the bust was too low cut for the event. The size 10 gave me the extra room in the bust that I needed! It arrived in perfect condition and the return process was so simple. Definitely looking into RTR dresses for my rehearsal dinner and wedding brunch! Enjoy!

As I mentioned, this was absolutely beautiful, like a piece of artwork; the photo does not do it justice, it looks like it has been painted in watercolor. The uneven hem is flattering and unique and the waistline is also flattering. The only con for me was that I had to wear a wrap over it because the bodice wasn't big enough for my chest- I looked WAY too busty. I wore it with a gray wrap and nude pumps.

It was a little longer than I had anticipated, and it has pockets, which were perfect!

This dress is so beautiful! I felt like a Mad Men femme fatale in the gorgeous floral watercolor print and full skirt. The skirt actually has a crinoline under layer which made it feel very foofy and festive and girly and utterly delightful! The very fitted bodice maybe ran a little small, but we got it zipped...just barely!

I loved this dress! It was the one rental I wish I could have kept. I went with the 4 even though the bust was a little snug. It was much more flattering than the 6, giving me that throwback hourglass shape. The skirt was full and the colors were perfect.

I wore this dress to an outdoor wedding in RI August 2012. I felt gorgeous from the second I put it on. From the beautiful colors, to the soft lining, to the touchable exterior fabric...oh, and the twirling and swishing of the dress wasn't too shabby either... this dress redefined perfection. I have very few bad things to say about this dress. Here are some things to consider. While I am usually an 8 dress, I had to wear a 10 because my boobs would not have been covered. Also, the waist is alot more fitted than you'd expect. So if you are like me and have a larger rib cage, size up.I have DD boobs and I found it a little more revealing than I normally like; so bigger boobed ladies, take this into account! If you are anywhere hot, this dress can get uncomfortable fast. My only complaint was how poorly the dress breathed, but what do you expect with layers of crinoline? People were stopping me all night to compliment this dress. I was sad to return it! I wore it for 8 hours and it never looked crushed or anything. You probably don't need a bra with this dress, and as a funny note, when I attempted to wear spanx with this dress, it fit really poorly. When it was all said and done, this dress made me feel like a million bucks; total confidence booster. For those of you who haven't used RTR before- The process was super easy, no hassles. I had the dressed shipped to our hotel and then the morning after the event, put both sizes in a USPS envelope they sent, and left it with the hotel to ship. Super easy! I was REALLY happy with how easy they made the process. The dress didn't need any steaming or prep! Rent it. Feel like a goddess. Even the bride was jealous :P!

This is the perfect dress for ladies with any height and any bust to show it off in the most ladylike way. I felt so fashionable and sophisticated wearing this dress. The fit was gorgeous - there was crinkly material underneath the skirt to give it some extra poof - perfect for twirling:)

So there was only a size 0 left for the weekend I wanted this dress and I wore it. I would have preferred a size 2 to have a little more room all around. But it was too pretty not to wear! Loved how great I felt in this dress.

The arrival and fit: I was pleasantly surprised when my dressed arrive in its RTR garment bag. I would normally wear a size 6, but that size was not available, and I am so happy I ordered the 8. The dress fit like a glove. Accessories: The dress has such beautiful color, so I really wanted these details and pops of color to stand out. I styled the dress with pewter toned shoes and bag. Then I thought to make this a bit more glam, and I accessorized it with a glass, gold and pewter necklace. I love to mix metals! I kept my arms bare and wore a gold and pewter cocktail ring. I kept my make up simple and rocked a fuchsia/red gloss to bring a pop of color to my face. My polish was a fun pink to bring out the colors in the dress: Strawberry Margherita by OPI. Pros: BEAUTIFUL dress that was absolutely perfect for the occasion - an outdoor rustic chic soiree. I received tons of compliments on the dress. I was super comfortable and loved to strut my stuff and party in this gorgeous work of art. I loved it so much I had to give it a twirl!!! Cons: I only have one con and that is that the dress/fabric had a musty scent.

I wore this to a tea for a women's organization where I was giving a speech. Loved the fit, I wore a 4 but could have done with a 2 I think. Great full skirt for a pear and a little cleavage which would make it fun for a wedding as well. Can't wait to rent Lela Rose again.

When I first saw this dress months ago, I knew this would be the dress of my dreams for my bridal shower. Without a doubt, one of the most elegant dresses I have worn. This dress has a watercolor type pattern and the fabric is slightly like a crinkled chiffon- very lightweight. The lightness and float fabric adds to the summer vibe. I usually wear a size six, but even the 8 was tight on my ribcage and bust. Such a fun flowy dress- I was heartbroken when sending it back!

true to size, fabric feels great and the fit and flow of the dress was perfect. I'm pear shaped and this dress compliment my figure beautifully.

I wore this dress for a early summer wedding. I felt absolutely beautiful. Not too sexy, just fun, feminine and whimsical. I would highly recommend it!

The fit was true to size, the waist hit a bit high, similar to an empire waist, but I have a longer torso. I got so many compliments on this dress, it was beautiful and very flattering for the bust, probably could have gone without a bra. The base color is closer to an off white, I wore it with nude peep toe slingback pumps, a long pony tail and gold chandelier style earrings, big hit and I highly recommend. It was such a fun, flirty dress to wear, didn't want to send it back!

I wore this to my bridal luncheon, and truly felt special! It fit me almost perfectly (straps were a little long), but might be tough for someone with a larger chest to wear in their normal size (runs small on top). It was classic, but still fun... and truly a quality made piece! The material is more on the casual side, but the dress could be dressed up or down very easily.

I rent a lot of dresses from RTR but NONE have made me feel the way that this dress did. It is a garment that absolutely transported me and made me feel more glamorous than I could ever imagine. In the words of My Fair Lady...I could have danced all night! Everything about the cut of this dress makes one look like the most elegant version of themselves.

If you have a long torso, be careful because the waist is a bit high, but it's a gorgeous dress.

This beautiful dress fits true to size through the bust and waist though may be harder for a bustier woman to wear. It is very feminine and chic. Loads of compliments!

I rented this dress for my bridal shower. It was beyond perfect and I received so many complements! I was disappointed with the condition of the dress. Both the dress I wore and the backup arrived wrinkly and there were small wear marks/holes under the arms and around the neck. Otherwise, a perfect dress for a bridal shower!

Love this dress, truly beautiful. The print is gorgeous. The fabric seems a little more appropriate for day than for a formal night, but could be dressed up, especially with the intricate skirt. Fit is true to size. Perhaps a little short-waisted. Also, the skirt is very full; some may like that to hide hips, but it also adds a bit of bulk.

Accomodates a generous bust but with a heckuva lot of cleavage.

I've been itching to borrow this dress and was so bummed when it was too small! It's really light and the skirt is poofy enough to give you that classic 50's silhouette, without making you look like a child ballerina.

This dress is absolutely beautiful and very well made, but unfortunately it didn't work for my body type. The bust area was too small, and the waist too large. The skirt had more 'flounce' to it that I had expected, and actually made my hips look huge. Too bad, I wanted to love it!

I was obsessed with this dress before it arrived...when I received it, I didn't like the way it fit, especially with a large bust. There was so much fabric that I didn't find it to be flattering.
