This dress is a nice fit especially if you do not necessarily want the dress to show off your stomach. If you are a little chestier you need to be aware because the plunge is deeper for you than on the model.

Definitely tight in the bodice. In not sure it would work for more than a B cup. Order a size up!

Pretty, feminine dress, forgiving on the hips, comfortable, and has pockets. Fabric is a rough weave, almost like a brocade with a slight shimmer to it. I have gained 10 lbs recently (so 135 not 125) and the 8 felt a bit tight.

I rented the dress for a wedding that was more on the formal side. I loved the dress but the fabric was very thick. Being named Hawaiian Palm I thought it was be on the lighter side, the wedding was August 24. The color was gorgeous, turquoise, blue, and teal! Lela Rose cuts beautiful silhouettes that makes any girl feel gorgeous. I am a lot smaller on the top then hips, the 4 fit perfectly in the chest but not hips, so I wore the 6. Still felt great in it all night. It's not tight in the belly area which is always a plus :)

This dress is silk tweed, woven into a gorgeous, lush pattern, but as others have said, it's heavy for a sundress. I wore it to a later afternoon reception/fundraiser where It was 90. I worried about sweating, but it's open enough I was fine. It does hug the ribcage, but I didn't think the neckline is too revealing and the pleats start around your bellybutton, so there's plenty of room for tummy, hips & butt. The fabric is very soft; the 4 was pulled down a bit at the back hem (nothing a little fashion tape couldn't fix). And the lining showed at the neck.

I really liked this dress because it was longer and less fitted, so I know it would be prefect to rent again for any more conservative occasion. The color was beautiful too!

I couldn't wear this dress because I couldn't get it zipped over my ribs. The girls fit, my ribs didn't; go figure. I have fairly large ribs, so I'm not surprised, just sad because this is a GORGEOUS dress! It looks so shiny in photos, but it's much more subtle in person. It's also got a lovely soft feel to the fabric. Oh, and it has pockets!

THis is a beautiful dress made from a great fabric. Loved wearing it and received many comments. The fabric doesn't have much stretch, but fits beautifully.

I did not end up wearing this dress to the summer wedding I went to but it was so fabulous that I wanted to review it! This dress was a little bit heavy for a hot summer day but when I tried it on, I felt so elegant and stunning. The fabric is gorgeous and it's extremely comfortable. When I have a chance to rent this dress again, I definitely will!!

I wore this to the rehearsal dinner for my wedding. I adored it and thought that it was the perfect balance of sexy and classy. In person you can see the slight metallic sheen and pattern of the fabric better, I think that the palm print helps keep it less formal than it might otherwise be. The cut of the dress is extremely flattering as the mid-section is very fitted, but overall I believe that the dress runs true to size. I also loved that it had pockets, so that I didn't have to carry a clutch. The only complaint I had about this dress is that the zipper on both the 4 and the 6 were very difficult to work and kept getting stuck.

This dress is just beautiful. The fit is very flattering. I have a fat stomach and not much of a waist, but I looked like a had a nice figure in this dress. I wore it to my son's wedding and was complemented on it all night.

I loved this dress. It has a very classic look with the super fitted bodice and fuller skirt. The material is nice and heavy so it doesn't stretch, order your second size up. Gave me cleavage, a rare occurrence! I would totally rent this again.

I wore this dress to a black-tie optional dinner. It is absolutely gorgeous and has such a flattering fit. I got so many complements all night long. I rented the 2 and the 4 and ended up going with the 2. The top half is very fitted, and the bottom half is not, so it works nicely on a pear-shaped figure. I am 5'6"/5'7" and it hit right at my knee, the straps are about 2-3 fingers wide, and the top did not show cleavage on me (small bust), but probably would on someone with a larger chest. I typically wear a 2 in dresses, so it runs true to size. It is a heavy weight, which is perfect for this time of year and it has pockets. The fabric has a gorgeous shine to it, and looks awesome on anyone with blue or green eyes. Overall, I am obsessed with this dress and wish I could have kept it! It is beautiful! Thank you RTR!

The dress is very tight around the ribcage/right under the bust - almost corseted, so you may want to size up. The effect is extremely flattering, however, and no bra necessary as the dress gives you a "boost"! I would definitely rent this again.

This is a beautiful dress, just beautiful. However, it wasn't the best design for my shape. It is VERY tight through the midriff, which is my problem area. I didn't end up wearing it because I wanted to be able to breathe!

This is a gorgeous dress with a foil pattern that isn't overbearing-- it shimmers just slightly. It isn't a fitted dress (I prefer things a little tighter around the waist), but it still gave me some shape. The top cuts very low/wide, so I had to check that my strapless bra wasn't showing from time to time. The pockets were a definite plus!

This felt very matronly to me, between the material and the conservative neckline. I rented it for an office party, and it felt too stuffy even for that. The pleats at the waist puffed out and definitely made me look pregnant. (That was the case in both the 6 and the 8, and I usually wear a 6. The 8 fit fine, wasn't too snug, but the pleats still popped out). I ended up stopping at the mall the day of my event to buy something instead.

I liked this dress. It was cute; a bit tight, but still true to size. I am curvy and it flared a bit at the waist.

Very low, fabric not forgiving, not for the large chested

I am 5/'4 and went with the 6 and the 8. The 6 fit perfectly except in the chest area, it was a bit big and a bit too low cut....

This dress has a very flattering cut, although it runs small on top, so bustier women should size up. Love that it had pockets! The only downside was I wasn't too fond of the material -- it felt like I skinned a couch and made a dress out of it like Scarlett O'Hara. In the end, I feel like the rental price was more expensive than the dress was really worth.

The dress didn't pop the way I was hoping it would, the fabric is thick and has a quality feel to it yes but the color and cut made it a forgettable dress for me.

If you have a big ribcage, size up at least once. The hip was fine, the bust was too big, but it would not zip up at my ribs at all. The fabric is also less fancy looking in person. Lastly, if you have a wool allergy, DO NOT rent this dress. It's 8% wool so even if it had fit, I wouldn't have been able to wear it anyway.

Just not my style. The material is very heavy. I agree with a previous reviewer who stated that it looked like a carpet bag.

This dress was sent as a replacement of a back-up dress, because something happened with the one I ordered and it wasn't available. I have to be honest, I hated this dress. In the picture it doesn't look so bad. In person, it looks like a safari themed carpet bag. It's incredibly heavy as well. That said, some people may be fine with it, but it just wasn't my style. I didn't end up needing it, and wore the first dress I ordered, which worked out nicely.

Although the size eight zipped up fine, the fit was not flattering. Too bad because the fabric and cut oft his dress really impressed me. I wish I would have gone up a size to accommodate my large chest.
