The dress definitely runs small. I was glad that I took the time to read the reviews. Normally I wear a 4, but I ordered an 8 because I wanted to be comfortable throughout the evening. The invisible zipper in the back was difficult to maneuver, but that tends to always occur with that type of zipper. The tightest portion of the dress is in the chest area. Either plan to wear a minimizing bra or definitely size up. All around fabulous dress!

I loved this dress! It fit true to size and was flattering! The metallic color stood out and added a fun twist. I received this dress with a hem that was out in the back panel, but after the two replacement dresses rent the runways stylist's selected for me did not fit my mother in- law fixed the hem so I could wear it. The back zipper was a little tough to get all the way up on this size and the size above (The dress was not too tight on ether one). That would be the only con. Overall, classic shape and length with such a fun color that really made me stand out. Would rent again!

This dress was perfect for our holiday party. I got so many compliments on it, it was unbelievable. It had such a great fit. It was a little tight in the armpit area, but other than that it fit great on me. Definitely would recommend this dress for your next event!

This dress is even more gorgeous in person. It was so comfortable and everyone loved it. I wore it to my cousin's wedding and it looked beautiful glistening in the sunlight. I wish I owned this dress because I would absolutely wear it again. I highly recommend it. It is tighter in the bodice but loose in the stomach and hips which is great because I just had a baby not that long ago.

This was fun to wear: sparkly, flouncy, and fab for an evening wedding high atop the city. Plenty of compliments. I am usually between a 6 and 8, but the 8 fit perfectly as I do have a large-ish rib cage. I was happy that the fit and flare style worked with my long torso too, as this is often not the case with similar styles. The fabric is quite thick, so I can't really imagine wearing this in the summer.

Loved this dress, it was hard letting it go! I usually fall between a 2 and 4, which I ended up wearing the 4 as the 2 was too small in the chest area. If you are larger on top, you will have to size up. The 4 fit perfectly in the waist and ribcage area, and while it was snug in the chest area, it still was quite comfortable and the metallic fabric of the dress showed so beautifully. The neckline area is made up of lots of clusters of flowers made of black ribbon in which the centers all have beautiful, sparkly gems/glass beads, thus not needing to worry about a necklace or big showy earrings.

I ended up renting this dress by default as a size in the original dress I rented wasn't going to be available at the last minute. I found this gorgeous Lela Rose dress and loved wearing it. It was chic and classy. And, very glamourous. It was perfect for an evening wedding in the city. I could not believe the number of compliments I received on the dress! The dress runs true to size. I loved that the top of the dress was very fitted and it was a nice contrast to the more full, pleated skirt. It didn't overwhelm my size 2 frame in the slightest. It was also a very comfortable dress to wear. I also appreciated that because of the applique at the neckline, I didn't need to bother with accessories. I did wear a nice pair of simple stud earrings but that was all the dress needed. I wore open-toed heels. I ended up wearing this with a standard bra with skinny straps but would highly advice wearing a racer back bra with this so as to avoid fiddling with wayward bra straps all evening. The dress was a homerun and I can't wait to rent from Rent the Runway again. The stylists were beyond helpful and really came through when my original choice wasn't an option. I am actually VERY glad that my first choice wasn't available because I loved this great Lela Rose dress!

Incredible dress...wore for NYE. Stunning and very comfortable. Fits true to size. I ordered a 4 and a 6, but the 6 worked great and I never tried on the 4. Tons of compliments, and several women even commented that their husbands loved the dress too. I paired with simple earrings, a bracelet, a ring, and Christian Louboutin black patent heels. No need for a necklace.

I love the feminine details on this Lela Rose. It hit me around the knee but I kind of liked the "lady-like" look. The silver material is beautiful and soft. Ran very tight on the chest so I'd recommend sizing up if you are large than a size B.

I wore this dress to a winter wedding, and it was perfect. It was glamorous enough to wear for the event, and it moved very nicely. The 2 was impossible to get zipped, and even though the 4 fit, it was tight and uncomfortable by the end of the night. The bodice was what fit tightly, which surprised me. I sucked it up and danced the night away anyway!

The dress is fitted on top and plays up your waistline. Also the cut of the neckline is very flattering for your arms and shoulders. The fabric and embellished neck make this dress unforgettable!

I rented the size 4 and 6 but opted to go with the 6 so I'd have room to dance and move about. I am 6' and felt the dress was a perfect fit with the length. The material is m ore stiff than I anticipated, but I think that's what helped the dress look so fresh and pressed all night long.

Fit: runs a tad on the smaller side, especially around the chest and upper abdomen. I was right between sizes, I suggest ordering the second size up in case. Pro's: Beautiful fabric. The embellishment around the neck is gorg! The length is classy. Con's: The zipper is a tad hard to zip without an extra hand.

I usually wear an 8 but ordered the 10 and it fit just right. It was a little tighter in the rib cage than I expected but it was manageable, the fabric has no stretch. I'm 5'9" and the dress hit right at my knees. It's a heavy dress so keep that in mind for summer events. Overall, I loved the dress and got so many compliments and recommend it if you need something sparkly for a fun night!

I rented this for New Year's Eve in the size 2 and size 4. I would have sized up to the 6 but it was unavailable. As other reviewers have said, this dress runs very small in the bust. I am only a 34B and the size 4 just barely fit me in the bust. I couldn't wear a bra with it. So I would definitely recommend sizing up. Besides that the dress is beautiful and classy. It hit at about my knees. I would love to wear it again!

Comfortable, prettier in photos than in person, it's gold/silver not just silver. Perfect for the holiday season!

The 0 fit like a glove, the 2 also fit well and by the end of the night I wished I had worn the 2 instead of the 0 it since it had a little more room. I felt like I stood out, the dress has a perfect amount of shine for an evening event and stands out. So many people complimented me on the dress and I felt really lovely. I would wear this dress again if it weren't so memorable!

I am 5'7, size 6 and this fit perfectly. I was given so many compliments including "you have my favorite dress of the night". It was even comfortable! Loved it. This was my first Rent the Runway experience. I don't think I'll buy another dress for an event again. You can't really wear a special dress twice anyway!

I rented this dress for a black tie weddind and I could not have gotten more compliments. The dress is incredibly flattering and I felt great in it. I wore it with no bra since I have a small bust, did not want the straps to show and had no strapless bra with me. Was completely fine though. Perfect holiday/wedding dress.

This dress is a beautiful silver fabric with black underlay. But it didn't fit. Too tight in the rib cage. I'm a 34 DD. I should have gotten the 12. So sad it didn't fit.

This dress looks even better on! I received multiple compliments all night. I normally wear a 10, but I am busty so the 12 fit perfectly. I noticed others mentioned that it was 'true to size' but since I was not able to try my normal size and the 12 fit given my larger chest, I would say that I feel it fits small. Unfortunately, I was not able to order a back up size (which would have been my real size) because it was out of stock. The zipper is a little hard to manage. Not due to fit but rather, it was just a tough zipper to pull up so I did need help with that. So keep that in mind when getting dressed if dressing alone! Overall it is a beautiful dress and people will notice! :)

Too tight across the bust. Was able to get a 10 in time but was loose everywhere else. Was happy to have the wiggle room for a fabulous dance party.

This dress is stunning. I was in love with the fabric and color. It fits true to size. The beading along the neckline is gorgeous - I didn't have to wear a necklace. It's a very comfortable dress to wear too. I would rent it again in a heartbeat.

I didn't end up wearing the dress unfortunately. I usually wear a size 6 and I ordered a 6 and an 8 and while the 8 fit better, the bust was still a bit tight. I have a big chest though (32DDD). The real problem was that the length was just way too long. I'm 5'3'' and both dresses fell went well over my kneecap and it just wasn't flattering. I sent both back and wore my backup dress. Sad!

I have worn a lot of Lela rose dresses with full skirts and always found them to run large on top and worn a size two. This one was much too tight in the arm holes and around my chest. Loved the dress and detail but I should have sized up.

The style was not flattering for my hourglass shape, so I ended up not wearing this dress at all. It was also a little snug in the arms, and the zipper felt like it was going to break off as my husband zipped it up.

With a fitted top and a fun swishy skirt, it gives a very flattering silhouette. It fit like a glove. Nothing constricting about it. I was able to comfortably dance up a storm and run around after my kids at the wedding all afternoon into the evening. The fabric was beautiful and shimmery. And the neck detail was fabulous. It needed nothing more than simple earrings to create the perfect look. Highly recommend this dress!

This was not the best dress I've rented. The flowered neckline looked crushed and flattened but it was way too long. I'm 5'2 and the dress was a good 2-3 inches below my knee. It almost bordered on tea length. I tried to tape it up for the night but it looked gathered and not smooth. I ended up wearing it but I didn't love it.
