I wore this dress to my boyfriend's Christmas party and loved it. The material is very nice and it fit perfectly for a very flattering look (even after a huge meal!). I would highly recommend this dress.

I rented this dress for a friend's wedding where I was playing a big role and it was PERFECT for the occasion. The navy definitely made it feel more special than your standard LBD. And as a somewhat curvy person I also really appreciated the lovely fit-- it cinches in just the right places and the beaded neckline eliminate the need for a statement necklace. It looked great in all the photographs!

I am small chested, and the top section of this dress fit perfectly with my figure and small hips. This dress is very elegant. I put my hair up in a Audrey Hepburn-style bun. It was great!

Fits very well. Neckline can be a little tricky to get right. Might not be great for very small breasted women. Beautiful beading takes place of a necklace. Very easy dress to wear.

I loved this dress! I wore it as a bridesmaid in a wedding and it was a darker navy blue than expected (which is what I wanted). The corset part of the dress fit tightly which I liked and the beading was beautiful. It's not too flashy, but a fun dress overall.

The neckline was very strange. It was kind of cowl but laid very strangely and not very flatteringly. I tacked down the front though and it worked alright.

this was a great dress! i only wish RTR had more Lela Rose selections. It was ladylike but pretty and flattered my body type. I got lots of compliments and loved wearing it.

I was very happy with this dress. It was a very flattering style and the material and beading were perfect. I had to use the tape under the front beading to hold it down, but I think that was due more to my build than the dress. I received a lot of compliments. The dress was also very comfortable which was important since I had it on for a long time.

This dress is very flattering! I can see why some people have given it a bad reviews bc you really have to work with the bodice but i tucked it up and pinned it under the beading and its perfect. for someone that is more pear shape but doesnt want an A-line dress its great!

The blue faille fabric has nice structure to it so it is not clingy and has sort of a matte finish so it is a good one to hide any figure bulges. You have to play a bit with the bodice to get it to lay right... The beaded top needs to go against your chest, then arrange the blue fabric in a fold around the beaded top. Very elegant and a nice length for those who do not wish to wear a mini. I Would have even liked it an inch longer. It's well made with a nice lining. Try it- You'll like it!

Great dress, very pretty and well made. The straps were a bit heavy but unlike other reviews, I didnt have a problem with them falling down at all and a lot of people loved the dress. I wore it to my masters graduation since it looked classy and it was the perfect dress. Very happy with it! The only thing a little awkward was the beading flap in the front but I used some double sided tape to tape it down.

I really really wish that this dress fit me. Since I was still breastfeeding/nursing, I'm a little bit bigger up on top that I had counted on as I couldn't get the dress to zip up. Otherwise, a simply gorgeous dress.

Dress was perfect for a benefit dinner attended with colleagues. As mentioned by other reviewers, there were some issues getting the front beaded section of the dress to lay flat. Material/quality is fantastic, and it is a very classic dress.

Very pretty color, knee length. I ended up not wearing this dress. The beading is prominent and i wanted a more understated look so i went with the Kate Spade Jillian. It's true the beading in the front kind of hangs off like there is extra fabric delberately. i think you could tape it down and it would be ok.

LOVED this dress! I rented it for my husband's work Christmas party, which was a dinner for 17 at a fancy restaurant. It was absolutely perfect for the occasion. The fit was so flattering, and super comfortable for the whole evening. I wore it with champagne metallic peep-toe pumps, which made it a little more festive - the beads actually have some of that color to them. The only negative I have is this: I am a 34C, and if you look at the picture, the plain part of the dress around the neckline has a bit of a cowl to it? I was on the verge of being a little too big up top for the dress. The beaded part that's supposed to tuck in popped out a few times, so I had to be mindful of that. Otherwise, amazing!

Notes: -Hides any little baby bumps (I was 5 months post partum when I wore the dress) -Bodice must be played with the fit right. Use fashion tape to tape to your bra (wear a strapless), and tuck bodice fabric into itself under beading. -Beading is navy, not black. Black stockings and shoes look okay, but black jewelry looked silly. I opted for diamond studs and a small diamond bangle instead. -Dress is tightest around waist. There is no give to the fabric. If you have a larger waist, size up. -If I could do it again, I probably would have gone for a more "fun" dress. This dress seemed a little too "mature" for me (I am 28), though it was still beautiful.

Nice, flattering fit. Only complaint is that the beading on the top is thicker than it seems. The straps fell off several times and are a bit thick/clunky.

This dress is gorgeous, but the beading is fidgety. Just like previous reviewers, I found it necessary to tack down the beading and it looked a little off. I enjoyed wearing it, but was glad it was my back up dress I wore the night before my main event, not my main dress.

Was going to wear this to a work event but both sizes were a little to snug around my legs to wear in the heat of Texas. The bead work also hit in a strange spot and was hard to adjust even though I have the chest to fill it out.

The decorative beading on the front was a little weird, and I had to go up a size because it fit my ribs very tightly. Otherwise, it was fairly comfortable and a pretty blue color.

Pros: nice texture and color Cons: Tight in the waist/ribs/chest area and unforgiving fabric, but not a dealbreaker. Beaded part sits very weirdly on chest (puffs out) - similar to other comments, you would need to use fashion tape to get it to stay down. The beadwork also is also a lot chunkier than it looks in the picture. I didn't find the beadwork aesthetically pleasing enough, so did not wear the dress.

I wore this dress for a gala fundraiser for the nonprofit I work for. It was sexy without being too flashy or inappropriate for work, and the fabric and color were also a good match for the event. The dress fit well through the bust and hips, though it was way too big through the shoulders; the straps fell off repeatedly throughout the evening, but a size smaller would've been WAY too tight through the bust. I definitely recommend ordering lots of fashion tape and being prepared to refresh it through the evening (or just wear a pashmina all night).

I ordered this dress and its backup size based on stylist's notes and neither dress fit. I would highly recommend (mandatory unless you are already familiar with the designer) speaking to the fit specialist so you don't end up in a bind as I did.

One of the worst fitting dresses I have tried on. Size 4 and 6 fit the same at the waist and feel more like a 0 fit than anything. The beaded portion of the dress meets the rest of the dress at a point and no amount of fussing will make it sit nicely. Returned this dress without wearing it
