Classic but unique with the open back.

I was so happy they only had a 10 to send ( this was my back up dress!) because the 8 would never have fit!! Even though I'm very consistently a 6-8 dress....I've definitely learned to order bigger from RTR! Especially with a larger bust and hips, I also have a pic of the back but I can't seem to get it to download. If you're uncomfortable with your legs it's a bit short but very sexy with the open back. The material is nice and thick I didn't even wear a bra or pasties and I was fine!

The dress is very classy but also sexy. I felt sophisticated but also fun and young. I went bra-less because my chest is so small but I never felt comfortable. The dress is tight across the hips. And fitted at the waist. My hips measure 40 increase around so I had to size up to the 6. Recommend paring with a bold colorful necklace. I kept my hair up and off my back so show it off.

Fit perfectly snug but wasn't restricting. It hard to tell from the photos and descriptions but it is a very heavy material so would not be good for events in late spring or summer. Luckily, the weather was fairly chilly the day I wore it so it worked out perfectly and kept me warm!

I wore this for my company's holiday party. I wanted to wear something conservative-ish (it was also partly on a boat in the middle of winter, so I needed the sleeves) but edgy and sexy. This dress fit the bill!

I did not feel Amish at all in this dress! (See review below.) Rather, I felt glamorous, sophisticated and a little edgy. I wore this to a holiday party with a simple faux pearl necklace, with my hair up. The material is heavy with a slight ribbed texture, which was really flattering and helped smooth everything out. Perfect length. The open back is fun -- a couple of guys I hadn't seen in awhile gave me hugs and got a little surprise with the open back (haha). True to size, doesn't have any give so def get the size u are without hoping for any slack.

I definitely didn't fill it out in the bust area and it's nearly impossible to wear a bra with this dress because of the back. I got lots of compliments on it, however. It's classy but the back provides a bit of a surprise.

This dress with the necklace came together nicely but the dress on it's own wasn't that exciting. I received a lot of compliments on the back.

Day to-night perfection!

This dress was perfect for a wedding in the cool Colorado mountains. I paired it with a Laura Merkin clutch and magenta BCBG pumps. I received compliments throughout the night. The material is thick so I felt comfortable not wearing a bra. The open back offset the conservative-ness of the front nicely. The one down side is it was a little difficult to dance in. The dress kept riding up. It didn't hinder my moves too much though ;)

I needed a black dress to wear to a funeral and this one was available on short notice. I wore a cardigan with it to cover the back.

Comfortable and forgiving. I've had 3 kids in the last 5 years.

I wore this dress for NYE with a statement necklace. So many people came in LBD's but mine stood out with it's details. The folds at the top were a bit of a surprise, but ultimately they looked ok. I did fashion tape down the pockets- the dress was a little small (I wish there was a 6 available!) so they kept popping out. The backless cutout is perfect though and the material is thick enough to not need a bra! Great dress!

I really liked this dress. I loved the fact that it was elegant, with just a pop of sassiness. At the last minute I decided to go without tights, since you could see the top of them when I moved in certain ways. Overall, I think the dress fit fairly true to size. I would definitely recommend renting this dress!

I love this dress and the back is my favorite part, the front has enough structure that you don't need to wear a bra. It is right on the arms... be warned

It was perfect for the gala I attended with a person I've been waiting a long time to go on a date with! I needed classy and respectful but also sexy. This was it. I will definitely rent this again. The snap at the top back immediately came unsnapped and would unsnap anytime I moved my shoulders. Double-sided tape fixed it with no problem. A size up might have given a little room to prevent that, but it was really no issue. Just travel with dress tape!

I wore this dress to my engagement party. I love that it's covered up and conservative in the front but more modern in the back. The material is sturdy and the dress feels incredibly well made.

Really elegant and deceptively simple - conservative from the front, sexy in the back. It's a great dress if you want to look sexy but not over-the-top.

It ran a little small. I normally wear a 4 and the 6 fit better.

Wore this to my company's party and it fit perfectly! I don't have many curves so the front and back fit great. I usually can wear anywhere between 0-2 depending on the brand/designer, but the 0 fit prefectly. I do have some backside curve, but not much, and it was still snug and body hugging. It hit my mid-thigh similar to the model photo. Fabric is thicker and heavier so it was perfect for my holiday party!

Wore this dress to a work event and someone literally wanted to buy it off my back. I thought the lines were chic and sophisticated and loved the fit. The skirt is a little tight so size up for your back-up if your pear shaped.

I wore this in my sister's wedding and it was so perfect. It fits beautifully and looks sophisticated. I would definitely recommend to anyone who is tall and thin.

Dress is very beautiful and sexy. It's very true to size, I'm usually a 2 in skirts and depending on the dress style will wear a 00/0 because I'm pear shaped and super tiny up top. This dress is definitely for a athletic /straight figured 0. I just barely got my pear shaped butt into it :) I wore it but it was borderline.

I am normally a 4 or 6. I ordered quickly and didn't realize this was Lela Rose and thus ran extremely small. I ordered the 6 because to be on the safe side. I got it zipped, but it was way too tight to wear. Going forward I'll always order at least 1 if not 2 sizes up in Lela Rose. The fabric is thick and very nice though! Would have been perfect had it fit.

I rented this dress for my 30th birthday party and I loved it! I sized up to a 6 based on the reviews and ordered my usual size (4) as a backup -- thank goodness I sized up! The 6 fit perfectly (if even a bit snug), and the backless dress was a huge hit. I also rented the cobblestone bib necklace to spice up the front of the dress (it is a bit boring in front) and that really completed the outfit. I was surprised that the dress also had pockets, which did emphasize my hips a bit, but it wasn't too bad. As my birthday is in February, it was a little chilly (cold handed hugs on an open back!), so I might save this one for a spring/fall rental, but the sleeves made it weather appropriate.

Unfortunately due to weather the dress size that I needed did not ship so I never got to wear. I tried on the 4 and it was tight. I think the 6 would have fit. I would consider renting again.

The fit is tight and runs very small. I'm normally a 6/8 but I definitely could have used the 10. The top was the most annoying because it snaps underneath which could easily be undone as I moved my shoulders around, it did have a button on the right side that held the opening together, but the left snap which was there to keep the material hidden under the overlap never stayed together. Definitely go up a size.

I rented this dress for New Years Eve. I loved the back of it, as the front is sort of "plain," the back adds a little bit of sexiness. I am normally a size 8, but they only had a size 10 left when I went to order it (last minute!), but I was actually glad I ordered the 10, as I think the 8 may have been a little too snug for me (but I don't like my dresses to fit too tight). Overall, I liked the dress and would rent it again!

Dress is cute, but not for someone with a long torso. It hit wrong on the waist/hips and just didnt look right. I am 5'6'' and 130lbs - the 6 was too tight is some areas. I generally wear between a 4 and 6.

I fell in love with this dress the second I saw it, but it seems to run small. I normally wear a size 6, and do tend to be smaller up top. This dress was available in a size 6 and a size 10, but no size 8. I received the six, but didn't order the 10 as back up. the 6 was extremely small--I probably should have ordered the 10 and it would have fit fine. The 6 was snug under the armpits, and the skirt barely went over my hips--I looked silly :(. I had to return the dress before my event, and I'm really bummed because I loved the soft fabric, which was the texture of a grosgrain ribbon (but soft!), and the detail in the back is super sexy. It's like a mullet: business in the front, party in the back. I would have felt totally at ease in this beautiful dress at the charity event I had planned on wearing it to.

The fit was a bit snug, and the reviews about the clasp and sleeve being difficult and tight were accurate. I ordered this and was hoping to wear it but I ended up going with a colorful vibrant dress instead.
