I am extremely busty but short and petite. I needed something classy for my sister's cotillion ball. This dress was extremely figure flattering even though I was covered up and I felt fabulous. I got asked several times if I was a model and I could hear people talking (positively!) about my dress throughout the night. This is one of my favorite dresses of all time. My only cons would be for light skinned chicks...maybe skip this color. It is an orangey yellow and looks best on dark skin. It'd be beautiful with dark hair but I rocked it blonde too! I am very short and my only not so great thing to say about it was that it was on the long side but that as what I needed for this occasion.

Moral of the story is I LOVED this dress. But I'll get the bad out first: The boning was poking through on one of the sizes, and I imagine that wearing it all night would've been painful (though I'm sure you could tape it or something if need be). Also, the top part of the wave wouldn't stay up without a pin on either dress (this was an easy fix). Now the good: It is a gorgeous color (a little less bright in person, but really pops still), it fit like a dream, and it was a huge hit. I LOVED it and would buy it if I could, even with the flaws mentioned. I am so glad I finally rented it!

I loved this dress! I ordered a 6 and an 8 because I'm between sizes, but the 6 fit perfectly and looked amazing. I got so many compliments. It was exactly the length pictured and I had no problems with the bust even as a 36DD. It stayed up well and the color was as pictured. Beautiful dress, would definitely rent again (or even buy it).

I have had my eye on this dress since they added it to the website, and am so thrilled I finally got to wear it! I wore it to my cousin's black tie optional wedding and it was perfect! It fit wonderfully and I got a ton of compliments on it :)

I rented this dress in 2010 for a wedding, and it still is one of my favorite dresses I have worn- tha shape is very flattering, it had the inner hooks for support up top, and the color is great.

The material was a bit more stiff than I thought it would be but turned out perfect! Fit true to size.

Beautiful Lela Rose dress; it runs true to size. The color is a little darker than appears in the photo and perfect for fall weddings and events. I will agree with the others that the plastic boning sticks out and pokes you in the armpits, but it was kind of worth it!

This dress was beautiful and I got loads of compliments. It fit true to standard designer sizing. I'm 5'4-5'5 and about 125 pounds. I'm usually a 2/4 (2 in brands like J.Crew and 4 in brands like DVF) and the 4 worked in this dress. The only negative is that the dress is starting to show a little wear and the boning is poking through the fabric in some places. I've suffered worse for fashion though. All in all, a worthwhile rental.

I really enjoyed this dress! It was slightly small (I rented the 6 and the 8 and went with the 8, but that same weekend wore a rented Shoshanna in a 6). The 6 could zip, but the 8 gave me more breathing room, as there isn't much give to the dress. The color is slightly more golden then this picture, but it is absolutely beautiful, particularly in the sunshine. I got compliments all night long, and of course couldn't help spilling that it was rented! There is some boning in the dress that got a little pointy, which I think comes with wear, but overall it was conforable and beautiful.

I wore this dress to a wedding in Manhattan. I was complimented all night on both the fit and the dress overall! I loved it!!

Gorgeous dress; however, the fit was a bit off. I have a 25" waist, usually wear a 27 in jeans and a have full 34C bust. I rented a 6 which was too large overall and a 4 which was too large on my waist and hips.

I loved this dress. The color is very unique and the fit was fabulous. RTR was so kind as to offer me a new selection after one of my originally selected sizes was unavailable, and I am SO pleased I selected this one. It looked great with my summer tan!

I wore this to a wedding and was complimented by nearly everyone, even the bride. I absolutely loved it and felt very beautiful. It was extremely flattering. And the process was very easy and better than I imagined. I wish I could rent this dress for every occassion!

Loved the color and the cut! I was worried the yellow would be "too" yellow for a fall wedding but it was the perfect autumnal shade. I'm between a size 4 and 6 and ended up going with the 6 so I could eat and dance worry-free.... This dress runs very true to size so don't be worried that just because it is designer, you need a bigger size than you normally wear. Loved it!

ABSOLUTELY BEAUTIFUL dress! I rented a 6 & 10 because it's in popular demand and the 8 wasn't available. Took my chances! 6 worked well except my bust was squeezed a little. Regardless, it was a hit! I'm of a darker skin tone - very complimentary! Got alot of compliments! You won't be dissapointed!

The marigold color turns heads. Love how elegant I felt wearing it. The cut is universally flattering as it hits where you're most narrow.

I can not rave enough about this dress! It fit perfectly so I could dance the night away at a friend's wedding worry-free. I'm small-busted so I worried about having to constantly pull up the dress since it's strapless but the bodice molded perfectly to my body. I got a ton of compliments!

I wore this dress to graduation and couldn't have been happier! I'm between a 0 & 2 and I wore the 0 comfortably the entire day- no bra necessary!

A little big in the bust but a great fit overall.

I LOVED this dress! It was very tight in the bust (I'm a 36D) so if you are larger in the chest, order a size up! Also, the boning can make it seem a little tight. Other than that, the color is striking, and I received many compliments at my formal event! BEAUTIFUL AND CLASSY. I'd order it again.

This is such a pretty dress. But like some of the other reviews said, it is smaller on the bottom than the top. I am totally a pear 5'8" 150 lbs 34 26 38 and the size 4 fit on top but wouldn't even go over my hips, and the size 6 was big on top and was a tad too tight to look appropriate for a wedding this weekend. I put on spanx and they helped but you could see the lines. This dress is still really beautiful but maybe for someone with a fuller bust and smaller hips.

I also rented this dress for a friend wedding. Great marigold color, perfect with the fall leafs. My only complaint was that by the end of the night after drinking and dancing the boning inside the dress was poking me like crazy. Not super comfortable, but I got a million compliments.

Loved this dress! It was stunning, and every single person that I spoke to complimented me. As beautiful as it was, the wear and tear was apparent to me (and probably me only). The boning in the fabric was poking through the fabric on each side of my chest, and it was painful. I tried using a bandaid to cover the boning but it is right on the seam, so if I lifted my arms, it was visible. I didn't expect a new dress up, but I wish it had been comfortable.

Ordered for a wedding. Ordered the 4 & 6 -- ran EXTREMELY SMALL. Couldn't wear either. I normallly wear a 2 or 4.

The dress rocks! it's super gorg. Love love love - unfortunately it didn't fit me at all :( it run small - i think it's best for tiny girls :) i'm 130, 5'7 and a 34c... and the 2 was too small and the 4 was too big in the tummy. BUT i would totally suggest if you're small bust, small waist. Super fab :)

I loved the color of this dress, and I got tons of compliments, but I couldn't rent it again. I usually fall pretty squarely into the size 8 category, but the 8 was super tight in the hips and it was impossible to breathe--there is literally no stretch at all in the fabric. The 10 was even a little more snug than I'd like, but I'm busty (34DD) for my height so that may have been the problem. I'd say if you're busty, definitely size up, but to everyone, I'm not kidding when I say there is no stretch. Bright side: I helped me have better posture throughout the evening because I could not slouch and the color definitely makes you stand out.

This is a fabulous, fabulous dress. However, my own toosh is on the rotund side and there was no give on the fabric, so I couldn't fit the dress once I got it and there wasn't time to order anything else. Great dress, though

I am generally an 8 and should have ordered a size up. The dress would not zip around my full bust (34DD) however, the color was beautiful and the fabric was luxurious. The particular dress shipped to me, which I did not wear, was a different color at the seams then the rest of the dress, as if it had been dry cleaned wrong or faded in certain areas. Besides that, wished that it fit!

I absolutely loved how this dress looked and fit. The only problem was that on the sides the plastic that makes it hold its structure was poking through and ended up rubbing my sides all night until I was bleeding! I had 2 dresses since I had the extra size and both of them were like that. I would wear it again but I would make sure to put a bandaid under my arm

There was only a size 6 available during my rental which is my usual dress size and I was so disappointed that it did not fit properly. It was very tight throughout the hips yet too large on top. I had ordered a back up dress, the David Meister Lady in Red Dress, also in a size 6 and that one fit amazingly well. I indicated that this dress runs small yet if you are larger on top it may be a better fit (I'm a 34B). I wish it had worked for me, it is a stunning dress.

I was so excited to wear this dress to friend's wedding. The color is beautiful and so unique. I was very disappointing because both sizes I requested were too large, especially in the bust, luckily I had a back-up.

I rented this for a summer wedding because I wanted a bright dress. It isn't as saffron yellow as pictured and almost has a greenish tinge to it in person. I picked the wrong size and didn't have a backup sent with it so I didn't wear it.

This dress is so cute and I was really looking forward to wearing it. But, when I tried it on, the wires were poking me from the inside and the fabric was a little worn. I knew I would not be able to wear it for several hours at a family wedding. Thankfully, I ordered a back up dress that worked well.

Loved the dress on the model but it did not work at all for me! Luckily I rented a back up dress. The 4 was too tight through the hips but still large on the top (I am a size 28 in jeans and a B/C cup) and the 6 was way too long and large in the top but still tight through the hips. The fabric also seemed a bit worn and not as vibrant as it is in the photo.

The dress is beautiful in the picture, but you can tell the size 0 had been worn quite a lot. The fabric is showing it's age and the color is fading. The top fold by the shoulder drooped down and needs to be pinned. I did not end up wearing this dress.

I am usually a size 8 but it was unavailable so I ordered a size 10 since I usually have to go up a size because I am bustier but it still didn't fit.
