This dress makes you feel like you’re a star! LOVE IT.

I am a curvy woman. My waist (~32 in.) is a lot smaller than my hips (~43 in.), and my chest is like a 36D. Dress size runs 10-12. I was so afraid based on past reviews that I wouldn't fit into this dress. FALSE. I rented the large and didn't struggle at all! Luxurious fabric, stunning fit, and I wore no shapewear. The dress is very stretchy, so there is tons of give. I wore a regular strapless bra, which hid easily beneath the fabric. The dress did not ride up at all. I did need my partner to help zip it up from behind, and it was very snug, but that made the va-va boom, baby! I wore it with the sleeves down the entire night, and I felt incredible. This is why favorite piece in all my years of renting from RTR. Ladies, do not second-guess this piece!

At a size 8 I fit better in the large. The boning is rouched in certain spots which seems weird but didn’t hinder the look and feel of the dress. Great for mid to smaller bust sizes. Perfect length for the under 5’5” crew. Sleeves don’t stay up unless you use a good amount of fashion tape. But I liked the sleeves being up when I was a bit chillier and down when the party was much warmer. Got so many compliments in this dress, definitely goes with a great statement necklace.

Looks great with all black! Stole the show (as far as guests go of course) at a wedding and felt like a Barbie doll the whole Night!

Wish I could wear this dress daily! The velvet, the corset, the puff sleeves - I loved it! I wore it like 4 times on my vacation! A tiny bit small but it is a mini dress after all!

I wore this to a formal NYE event in Las Vegas and it is gorgeous. The sleeves are a little big but I loved the off the shoulders look anyways. I got so many compliments and I just saw Janelle Monae wear this to the Usher concert!

I am small by all measures and I felt so sexy and confident in this piece. It did amazing things for my body. Absolutely will be purchasing or renting again!

If you look closely at model photos the material folds over itself at the hips. Kind of weird. But black hides a lot of flaws which I think this dress did including the fit of the bust was also off. Cups were a bit small on my 34c. But they covered them fine just had to pull cup a little over the bottom of the boob if that makes sense. Sexy sleeves that zip at wrists so your hand actually fits through the tight sleeve. Im between s/m got the medium I'm 5'4" 135 pounds 36/29/38. Hubby loved it.

This dress was stunning from the unwrapping the box to wearing at the wedding! This dress is high quality and form fitting. I received tons of compliments and felt lovely! Cons: had to but spanxs to wear under bc it was see through and just a tad snug! Don’t be afraid to size up especially if you have a booty!

Such a gorgeous dress! However the lower half is completely see through with flash, and one of the sleeves easily ripped off. The wiring in the bodice was a little strange too and I couldn't get it to lie flat. The sleeves though made up for all of this and I got so many compliments!

Dress runs on the small size. I am a 0-2 and could not zip it all the way. I ended up wearing it as a top because of this but it looked amazing. The shoulders can be worn up but without fashion tape they fall back down. Would recommend sizing up and only wearing if you are smaller chested.

Im typically a size 8 and rented both M and L. I tried on the L first and it was a tight squeeze so I didn't even put on the M. my recommendation is definitely size up! Pros: this dress is soooo cute. Loved the neckline and the sleeves. Cons: a little clingy in the tummy area BUT it has a lot of wires running down the front of the dress so you can kind of adjust it and cinch it around the waistline. Kind of weird kind of cool?

Thankfully the sleeves had zippers because if not, I wouldn't have been able to wear this dress. I had to leave them unzipped. That's the only con, but it worked!

the dress doesn't lay flat, as others have said, but it's gorgeous in photos.

This is a super fun dress and I think I would have liked it more if the fit was better. The boning stuck out and created a weird shape around the stomach. I have thin wrists and the arm holes were tight on me. It’s also see through, beware of flash photos

I absolutely loved the dress and it was such a stunning moment. My only complaints would be that the sleeves get really tight at the end, I'm assuming that's why there are zippers there, and I just ended up cuffing the end where I couldn't zip it all the way. It felt like a Princess Diana revenge dress moment!

The material is soft, comfortable, and fits the body like a glove. I would say that since I am 5'1, the suit would roll and bend in awkward parts of the body. I almost returned it because it made me feel a little weird, but my friends encouraged me to wear it. I wouldn't rent it again, but if you are on the taller side, you may not have this issue.

The dress itself is so gorgeous and the sleeves a statement but the rubbing on the dress folds strangely and is impossible to make lay flat - you can see it in the model photo as well. Overall was not super happy with this rental

The top fits weird and you can’t tell but there are like corset like structure on the bottom? Was not very flattering

Wanted to wear this to a wedding- already tried the medium and it was too small so I got the large and it just wasn’t a right fit for me

I appreciated how tight the body of this dress is. The chest is quite small so be mindful of your bust size when ordering. The sleeves didn't quite work for me and it seemed more costume than couture on me. I love the designer though and hope to rent more in the future
