I'm almost always a size 8 but was surprised when the 6 fit just a little better overall. It did come with a water stain on it but I was fortunately able to wash it before my event to get the stain out. The dress is your classic Lilly style and fit, I would definitely rent this one again!

I really liked this dress. It was comfortable and easy to wear. Lots of compliments. I was expecting to wear the 4 but the 2 fit a little better on top. That's pretty consistent with other Lily Pulitzer dressed I've worn.

I loved this dress and am sad that I had to send it back! The fit was amazing and very flattering on me. The look was classic but fun. There is a slight texture to the material and the front and back V's are a great length so I could wear a normal bra. Would highly recommend this dress!

Pretty standard fit. I normally wear a 6 (maybe 4 on a skinny day) but I wore the 6. Very comfortable!

I wanted to keep this dress so badly!!! Fit like a dream, comfortable, and I got tons of compliments. The only issue is that the arm holes are cut a little deep so my bra was slightly visible at times. Mostly not noticeable and I wore a cardigan over it because it was winter in D.C. and utterly freezing. I will definitely rent this one again!

I wore this to an October wedding in Sonoma, CA. It was a warm day, so the dress kept me nice and cool, but still had a fall feel. The fabric is really nice and form fitting. I got lots of compliments!

Very flattering. Got a ton of compliments, especially on the quality of the dress and the v-shaped back. It wasn't too short, which is always a concern I have since I am 5'9.

Dress was gorgeous! It paired great with a pair of nude pumps as well as cowboy boots later in the evening. This dress was perfect for the "I'm not sure how formal this wedding is going to be" wedding. Got tons of compliments and was comfortable all night. The top was a bit big in the bust for me (36C), but nothing horrible. You could wear a strap bra, but I went strapless and was fine all night. Material is a little heavier so could get warm at an outdoor summer wedding. Overall loved the dress and would buy it!

Sorry the picture isn't better - I forgot to snap one for this review. This dress was perfect for a wedding on the lake in June! The material was thick enough to keep everything in place but breathable enough to not be hot. I really wanted to keep this one!

I wore it to my my homecoming freshman year and I got so many compliments!! I am 5'5 and 135 pounds and ordered a size 2 and it fit perfectly and went down to about my lower thighs, looks great with gold earrings!

Dress fit amazing! The gold embroidery was gorgeous. The material was thick and was flattering. I definitely recommend this dress!

This dress was beautiful and comfortable, except the top was loose around the armholes, thus showing the sides of my bra a lot. I was traveling and so I didnt have many options. If I had rented the dress at home I could have probably prevented that. I would say size down to account for the loose top or try and pin or tape your bra.

I ended up going with the 12 - I have a larger chest, and felt more comfortable in the 12. I’m typically a 10 or 8 in dresses depending on brand/style of dress.

Dress had great structure to it - fit appropriately and felt lightweight. The gold was a unique design and I got quite a few compliments on how different this dress was! It arrived pretty wrinkly but ironed out easily. Loved that I could wear a normal bra with it too :)

At first, UPS messed up my shipping but RTR was kind enough to overnight me the same dress. I wore a 2, which is my usual size and it fit true to size. I had enough room to move around, eat, drink and celebrate the bride-to-be! Was receiving compliments on it all night and was even told I should purchase it. Would definitely rent again. This was my first time renting from RTR and I was a little skeptical, as I'm short and didn't know how the dress would fit me. This dress was the perfect length for me and as an added bonus, I didn't have to wear a bra because the material is pretty thick. I usually wear a 4, but I fit into the 2 very well. Definitely planning to use RTR again!

I always love renting a Lily dress. They are perfect for almost any occasion. The dress runs true to size. I paired it with a pair of neutral wedges and mixed metal jewelry for a crowd favorite at my cousins wedding. The structure of the dress looked great in picture and was easy to move with on the dance floor. It's a little short when sitting, but thank god for linen napkins to hide any extra leg that shows. I will definitely rent this one again!

I wore this dress to a summer wine festival last August. I received a ton of compliments on it. The material is good quality, very nice and thick. There is no stretch. I normally wear a size 6 or 8 in Lilly dresses and I sized up to the 8 for this dress.

This dress fit true to size and was such great quality. It was comfortable and easy to wear but still made me feel beautiful. I would definitely recommend this dress.

This is a very classy dress. Absolutely fit perfectly. I could not have gone a size down nor size up for my figure. I'm long waisted so it got me just a bit higher in the waist than preferred but I pulled it off. Loved this dress. Wish I owned it! Fabric is top quality. Not too thick and not too thin. Have some texture in it.

I rented this dress for a wedding in the keys and it was perfect! This dress fit like a glove and could easily be dressed up for dressed down. The material was a little bit more casual but the gold piping added a more sophisticated element. I would definitely wear this dress again for an outdoor wedding or daytime event.
