Definitely true to size.

The dress was comfortable. I love that I could wear a normal bra with it & it had a small pice of fabric with a snap on each shoulder to put your bra sholder straps through to make sure your bra straps don't show. The colors of the dress are beautiful!!!

The dressing is definitely more pink than you can tell from pictures! S fun and pretty to wear! Came in great condition! Definitely tight in chest region so if you have a larger chest you might want to go up a size! Loved it!

I LOVED this dress. I knew that I didn't want to wear white for my bridal shower, but wanted to wear something pretty, feminine, and special. This light pink/gold/silver dress was just the ticket! It ran true to size and flattered my athletic build. The length is perfect for standing/dancing, but the only minor downside was that this isn't a great dress to sit in, as it rides up a bit when seated. I received so many compliments and will definitely rent this again! (As an FYI as several people asked -- the fabric is not stretchy.)

LOVED this dress!! Just wow. I worried it wouldn't fit me right with my hourglass figure, but this style accommodated my large bust and butt!! Surprisingly as well the dress looks totally different in person. Very pink and gold and not white at all in person. It was unique and gorgeous at the wedding I attended and I received plenty of compliments from strangers. The clutch was Lilly Pulitzer as well, and I wore the Elizabeth Cole Bacal earrings. Loved that everything coordinated so well in my outfit! My second experience with renttherunway and I will never buy a dress for an event again!!!! This website is genius. E

I wore this to a friends wedding. Surprisingly comfortable and chic! Got so many compliments. I wore a size 8, I usually wear a 6 but used the 8 due to my DDs and it still hung beautifully. Not to mention the material was MADE for photographs.

This picture was from trying on the dress the day before our event. We had a second wedding reception after an intimate wedding celebration and I wore this dress. I had actually tried to purchase it but our Lilly store didn't have my size. The dress is very well made and fits like a dream. The cap sleeve is incredibly flattering and the neckline is modest but sexy. Perfect for a shower, rehearsal dinner, or fun night out!

Pretty true to size... I'm usually a 4-6 and wore a 6. Fits tighter on the top and falls straight.

This was a great dress for a wedding -- it was comfortable but still looked nice and has some fun sparkle to it. I was a little worried about some reports of the dress being tight in the bust (32DDD), but it fit just fine (and I usually wear size 2 in Lilly so I was not too concerned). I received many compliments on the dress and may have to go out and buy it!

Wore this dress to a rustic, country wedding, pairing the dress with nude wedges. I wore the 6 - could have worn the 4 if I wanted it to be super form fitting, but the 6 was perfect, and very comfortable to sit-in at the ceremony and during dinner and then hit the dance floor in all night! It was also very warm out (summer wedding) but the dress was perfect for the weather - not heavy and if there was any sweating (from endless dancing), it didn't show! The color was perfect too, shimmery gold and hot pink - I'm very fair skinned so I was concerned that the gold would wash me out but it didn't (suggestion: it would look even better with a spray tan). I received so many compliments too (friends and strangers!) I would definitely recommend this dress!

I loved this dress! Such a fun material and the cut was perfect for my body shape. I have very narrow hips and wide shoulders; the cap selves didn't cut my arms and the bottom of the dress had a really nice shape. I also loved that it had snaps in the shoulders for bra straps! It was a little tight across the chest, but that's an issue that I almost always come across with dresses. Overall a great dress.

Rented this dress at the last minute because I loved the print but I was only able to order one size, I would have liked to have tried on the 2 to compare. But overall I think for a sheath dress, it fit fine.

I ordered a 2 and 4. I chose to wear the 2 because the bottom was a little loose. More like a sheath. The top was a little snug in the arm area. It was more comfortable to stand in than sit. The zipper scrunched up when I sat. Totally worth it though. I received so many compliments and I truly felt like a blushing bride! You will NOT be disappointed!

Fit great. I have long legs, so sitting sometimes it was definitely shorter than I would've liked but it wasn't an issue. I would definitely recommend this for a wedding or a party!

This dress is perfect for a daytime event like a wedding shower or summer wedding! The material does not have any stretch to it, but because it is more of a shift body I would recommend sizing down as I felt it ran a little large. It was very comfortable to wear, and was very lady like!

Dress was great and received lots of compliments! As some other reviewers noted, I also found the arms were a little snug and the dress rides up a bit when sitting. This was my first RTR and overall am very pleased!

Cute colors without being too flashy! The pink is really noticeable in person - you can't quite tell from the model photos, but it's entirely pink under the gold circles and has a pink lining. The fit was bigger than I expected for a Lily Pulitzer - I'm exactly a Lily size 8, so I expected a bit of extra room in a 10, but there is a bit of stretch to this fabric and I could've sized down. (Alas, the 8 was popular, and already rented when I needed it!)

I loved this dress. The 4 was a little tight around the arms for me, but still comfortable overall. I received lots of compliments and definitely would consider renting it again sometime.

Great dress. The wedding hosts requested guests wear their colors...blush and or gold. This dress captured both although the pink part is very pink (not blush). It really didn't feel too pink once on and it photographed well. True to size. I have long legs and I was worried it would be too short but it wasn't. I felt comfortable and it was fine for dancing too.

As its a Lilly, it was perfect for a summer event and the sparkles added something special! It fit really well, lots of room to move, dance, eat, and drink, but not too big!

This dress ran wayyy too big. I am usually a 4, and even the 2 was way too big. A 0 probably would have been perfect. Otherwise, this was a very comfy dress. It was much more pink and gold then it looked in the picture. I thought it would be a baby pink, but it was a darker pink and a really shiny gold. I think it would have been a very gorgeous, flattering dress if I had gotten the right size. but overall, it was just eh.

this dress was perfect to wear to homecoming however I ordered sizes 2 and 4 when I should have ordered a 0. It was a little baggy around my waist and hips area. But other than that I get a ton of compliment on it!

Dress was perfect for hosting an event and photographs beautifully! I loved the color and especially the metallic look as well. As in other reviews if you are larger chested it will feel a bit tight in the chest but manageable. It seems many Lilly dresses that are 4-6 don't a compensate larger bust sizes comfortable however it is manageable. If the 6 was available I would of rather had that size instead of the 4 just for a more comfortable fit. I would rent this dress again for a night out, brunch, or wedding!

This is my first RTR. I rented for the preference day at the University of Arizona (Bear Down) I'm a very small person to begin with. I normally wear a junior's size zero/double zero, so I knew this dress wasn't going to fit perfectly. I added a belt to sort of tighten it up, but had to keep adjusting it since there was soo much extra fabric. I'm a 32B and this dress was extremely loose in the chest area for me. I ended up wearing three(!) bras with some extra bra pads shoved in just to sort of fill out the top. I also had to use fashion tape to smooth down the neckline. The material was super easy to walk in, especially in 100 degree Arizona heat, it didn't even show a lick of sweat! One thing is that the pink is a lot more vibrant in person than when photographed, I attached a photo that shows the "true" pink. I only mention this because I really liked the pink in the photos and had my nails painted to match and that just didn't happen with the color the dress actually is. I did love the gold details and they shine in even the tiniest bit of light! I loved the cap sleeves, they look so nice on me, but I know lots of women dislike them. I'm only five feet tall and was extremely happy to see that the dress didn't reach all the way to my knees. It does ride up a bit when sitting down, but I preferred that. Also, I paired with very simple accessories: a dainty light pink belt with a gold bow clasp, two small gold bracelets, simple gold rings, and gold studs. I also work strappy nude cocktail heels. The dress really speaks for itself. I received lots of compliments from the sorority women. Overall I loved this dress and would have loved it even more it had fit properly. I wouldn't recommend to someone who is very petite like me, but it is easy to manage and I made it work. If I actually owned this dress, I would get it altered to a very tight fitting First Lady kind of dress. I only gave it four stars because the color is so different in person.

This was a really cute dress that I rented to wear it to the Derby, but unfortunately, I did not wear it because it fit big on me. I ordered a size 2 and 4, and even the 2 looked big on me. I've never worn Lilly Pulitzer dress, so I wasn't sure if her dresses run really small or big, but I probably could've fit perfectly in the 0. I feel like the 2 just sat on my body, and didn't really show any of my curves, but I did like the sleeves.. I felt like they highlighted my arms.

I wore this dress for my Bridal shower and it really made me stand out as the bride. The size 12 fit me comfortably around my problem areas but because I am 5'0 the fit around my shoulders was too loose. I had to pin the extra material so that it did not bunch up around my shoulders.

This dress fit very well, was comfortable, and very classy for the fundraiser event I wore it to. The length was nice for me given I am pretty short. I had a 3-4" sparkle/gold strappy heel that went perfect. The material looks rich and is still fun, and covers enough to still be appropriate. The only reason I did not give this dress 5 stars is for 1) the sleeves: I am not a fan of cap sleeves at all, and I should have looked closely and paid attention to that when renting. I don't have the best arms for these, and it tends to show the fat between your arm and your chest (you can kind of see this in my pic); 2) Another review indicated she wore a size down. I am a little bigger in the tummy area and even though I wore spanx, wearing a size down was not going to be an option. It is a little tighter around the mid-section (at least for me), and keep in mind that if you wear spanx with this dress and sit down, the crease will show; 3) Lastly, the color shows in the picture as ivory with gold shimmer/pattern. However, in reality, it is a pink background with a little ivory and gold pattern. I was somewhat concerned about this when I saw it on the hanger, but I wore it anyway, and am amazed at how it looks so different in the pics!! This could be a pro or con for you, depending on what you're looking for. Just be aware, and don't frown without trying it on at least. :)

Rented this for engagement photos, since our wedding colors are blush and gold. The coloring on the dress looks WAY different in photos than it does in person.(I personally think it photographs better than it looks in person.) Given that the point of renting it was specifically for photos, I'm not mad about that. The pink is very bright, while the gold bounces a lot of light. I loved the fit of the dress. It was snug to my figure without being too tight - just had to be mindful of whether people could see up it when I was sitting down!

It was a pretty dress, yet I didn't think it had a wow factor as much as in the photo of the RTR website. I wore it and it was good. This was not a dress that I would be excited to rent again, but I would wear it again. I usually wear a 0, but could've worn a 00. It was a bit big on the bust because I don't have much and the stomach area was big and made me look like I had a belly which I don't have.

Despite the beautiful material and cut, I was unable to wear this dress for the intended occasion. I normally wear a 0 but in this dress my boobs were suffocating and I couldn't lift my arms because of the way the sleeves are cut. The 2 was baggy, especially under the boob area and looked even worse in photos. Super disappointed! Luckily RTR has excellent service and rushed out a new style ASAP!

This Lily dress had the prettiest print & I got tons of compliments... But... I have a 34c/d chest & this dress was insanely tight in that region. Even though this dress was very tight in the chest, it was super loose through my waist. It is a shift dress so you can get away with it- but I got very good at pulling it tighter for photos so it didn't look so baggy! This pretty print is for sure this garments saving grace!

Rented this for a trip to Naples Florida. It was perfect for dinner by the beach one night. I always love a good Lilly and this was no exception. The dress is fitter through the bodice, runs TTS and flared nicely by the knee. Can be dressed up or down and appears champagne colored in some pics and paste pink in others. Love!

This was my first rental experience and I was really skeptical because I am very petite and short (4'9" and 100lbs). I was sure this dress wouldn't fit me but it did! It fit very well and the length was perfect on me. I loved this dress!! I liked the metallic on it which looked more gold than what the picture looks like. It wasn't too snug that I had to worry about bulges but I wore spanx anyways. I paired it with gold sandals and a cute gold metal box purse. I wore it for a wedding at a church and reception at a golf course. It was perfect! I got plenty of compliments!

I wore this dress for my wedding rehearsal dinner in June 2016. The gold shimmer was beautiful and stands out against other dresses. The pink is a very pale shade but compliments the gold and hints of white perfectly. I paired this dress with gold pumps and it was just the right amount. I highly recommend this dress!

It fit great - no issues or problems. I had ordered a 6 with a 4 for backup, but the 4 fit perfectly - which made me very happy!
