Dress fit true to size, though was a bit tight for me in the bust (34c). Since it was so tight up there and the material is sturdy, I was able to wear it without a bra, which was comfortable. It was one of my favorite rentals so far!

I am a size 4 but often wear a 2 in dresses. I only had this dress in a 4 and it was a little big. I wore a strapless bra with it so that helped give me the sense it wasn't going to fall off and I didn't have to tug on it all night but it was pretty loose around the waist. It still looked great though and it gave me lots of room to eat. It was a very comfortable dress. Perhaps it's supposed to be cut that way though and that's why the model has her hand on her hip because that's where it was looser. I still think it was gorgeous and am so glad I wore it. It would have been nice to try the 2 on though.

I ended up renting this dress at the last minute for my anniversary dinner. And I'm so glad I did. I loved it! After reading the reviews suggesting sizing up, I ordered the 4 and 6. However, the 4 was still a little bit big. I could have worn the 4, but I would have been pulling it up all night. Thankfully, I was able to exchange for the size 2 which fit perfect. If you want to dress it up with a great statement piece - definitely rent the Pirate Treasure necklace. But it could be also be dressed down. I ended up wearing it to brunch the next morning with no necklace and t-strap metallic sandals and enjoyed this look too!

The fit was perfect for me because I do not have a large bust. If you do, then this dress might be difficult to zip in the chest area. I received several compliments on this dress - it was also fun to wear! Loved the overall look and it was very comfortable. Fit so perfectly I didn't have to try and pull it up once. A must try for smaller busted ladies!

Fit true to size.

I worn this dress for a night out in Vegas. It was very flattering and a fit perfect. I have a small bust so sometimes this style doesn't fit well. However, this dress fit prefect and I didn't need to continuously pull up the front. The dress was not skin tight, but I still worn a slimming slip underneath. The gold detail gave the black dress charter and I worn a similar chucky gold necklace.

I actually own a different version of this dress, but wanted to get something black for an evening engagement party. I added the necklace that the model is wearing at the last minute and I'm glad that I did as they looked great together. I don't have a large chest and it fit me well, so I would either recommend sizing up or not renting if you're over a B.

Love, love, loved the dress. I ordered a 6 and an 8, thankfully, because the 6 ran was too small in the breast area. Our event was a bit more casual than originally anticipated, so instead of heels, I grabbed a pair of gold fiip-flops and a long gold necklace and the dress looked great and I felt great. Added bonus, my husband loved it too!

I loved this dress so much that Lilly was conveniently having a sale I went online the next day and bought it! It is super flattering, fits so well and it's simple yet elegant! Definitely a great party dress - I wore this for new years and received so many compliments!!

I wore this dress for New Year's Eve & received a million compliments-- I usually wear a size 4 but I was able to easily fit into the 2. It was great & looked awesome with a statement necklace and gold clutch. Love RTR!

I wore this for a Christmas party at a country club last weekend. I also ordered the pirate treasure necklace in the picture and wore it with black patent leather pumps and loved the entire look. Like most Lilly's this dress runs a little big but the 0 fit perfectly!

I am fairly small on top with more going on in the hips. I often have time finding a dress that fits downstairs without falling off upstairs. This one actually needed to be just a teeny bit bigger on top-- I had to have help getting the zipper all the way on. So if you have any doubts at all, think about sizing up. But it was really cute and perfect for a festive but not formal holiday cocktail party. I'd rent it again.

Perfect dress for small chested women. Flattering slim fit. The "bones" of the structure are a bit uncomfortable while seated. Sizing was perfect and previous reviews were very helpful. Great 1st RTR experience!!

I loved this dress but unfortunately I couldn't wear it to my event. If you are by yourself, it is impossible to zip up the dress.

This was a great black dress for a wedding. It runs a little big. I ordered an 8 and 6. Unfortunately they sent an 8 and 2. The 8 was pretty roomy and you don't want to take any chances with a strapless dress so I didnt wear it. But I wish I had the 6 because it really was the perfect dress for the wedding I was attending. Even though I couldn't wear it, I would definitely recommend it.

I usually wear size 6 but rented the 6 and 8 based on reviews that it runs small. The 8 fit fine every except for the chest. I'm a 36C and it was extremely hard to zip up. I then ordered the 10 and it was slightly large. Just a funny fit which is unfortunate because its a great dress!

I chose this dress as a safety for my husband's holiday work party, because I was unsure about the formalness of the party, and didn't want to show up in sequins if everyone else was going to be in sweaters. This dress ended up being the perfect balance of nice yet not over the top. It wasn't very exciting, and the fit wasn't quite as flattering as I would have hoped, but it looked very nice and was comfortable. The best part of the outfit was by far the necklace - do not rent the dress without it!! I got at least 10 compliments on the pirate treasure necklace.

I had to returned the dress because the top was made for a very small bust. The material was also not "fancy enough" for a wedding I felt.

Great dress in great shape. Subtle yellow (gold) detailing at the hem and a perfect silhouette. Unfortunately, getting it zipped that last 4 inches was too difficult. I'm not especially busty- and it fit well in the waist and hips-- so just double check the measurements before ordering.
