Rented the matching set for a country concert. Normally would be a small/medium but read reviews and ordered the large. The large fit perfect, and the set was really cute! VERY orange!

Usually wear a size medium and I ordered a large for a looser fit. These barely fit me! The waist fit and the thighs were tight so the pockets ballooned out. Not cute.

I was so excited to rent this set… I ordered a small in the shorts and they were super tight in my thighs and ballooned on top. The actual worst fit I’ve ever tried on. Felt like I was wearing a middle school boys boxers.

Got the large based on other reviews, which fit, but probably could have gone with a medium. The fit is off, ballon-like. Didn't wear.

Tighter than I expected and so I didn't end up wearing these. I prefer a looser shorts look (unless I'm wearing tight, athletic bike shorts) and my recommended size ended up being way too form fitting for my liking.

size up one or maybe 2 sizes in these

Unless you are really straight in the hips and have really flat stomach, the pockets are going to pooch- unattractivly.

I could not wear these unfortunately as they were so small. I’d recommend sizing up twice.

Tight/awkward fit in the hips/thighs/legs. I sized up and still had issues. They technically fit, they were just so unflattering. This was really surprising to me because I'm the body type that sizes up in jeans so the waist fits and then has to deal with baggy thighs...so confused what body type these would look good on.
