I wanted to wear this before the REAL cold arrives in New England. I wore it to a charity event! It was super beautiful, made me feel like a modern-day tropical superhero. I paired them with multicolor sandals, pineapple earrings and an orange purse (all my own). The material is very thick but breathable. The one-sided cape adds just enough flair and drama without making it look like a Halloween dress. I highly recommend this dress!

Such a cool and comfortable dress! The cape adds such a cool touch but just shy of being costume-y. I wore this to a breast cancer fundraiser and it could not have been more perfect - got a TON of compliments. Only down side is that I had to keep readjusting the neckline because the cape is only on one side, and the added weight kept pulling that side of the dress off my shoulder. Otherwise it's perfect, wish I could keep it!

This dress was very fun to wear for my bachelorette weekend wine tour. The cape was so much fun and the color was fabulous. It was flattering and comfortable. I love that the designer put in loops to hook on the bra straps so they don't show in the wide neckline. The one improvement I would have made is to change the white zipper to either gold, red, or invisible. The white zipper was a little too 60s throwback.

LOVE! I was nearly 5 months pregnant and this fit me in my pre-pregnancy size, so it certainly runs big and I may not have liked how it hung if I weren't so round. It probably would have felt a little boxy or shapeless if I weren't so shapely myself these days. And the shoulders fit a little odd because the cape pulls them back and that can make the bust darts sit in the wrong place-- but really, who cares. You rent this because you want to be the girl in the hot pink and orange cape and you're probably willing to pull things down for pictures all night. My two year old called me Superman. Definitely not for someone looking to blend in, but for the right event this is perfect. Also, I wouldn't recommend for a summer event outside, the fabric feels great but it drapes so beautifully because it's a bit heavy. I think it makes the dress more cocktail/formal, but it doesn't breathe very well.

The dress is fun and stylish and can be dressed down or up as needed. I paired with nude wedges and seed pearl chandelier earrings. Didn't need anything else to make it a hit. The chest area was a bit tight and caused a bit of a bubble in the upper chest area when dancing. Overall very easy to wear and dance in.

I fluctuate between a size 2 or 4, I wore the 2 since it is a shift dress. It was flattering, comfortable and fun. Wide neckline, wear a strapless bra. Perfect length (not too long or too short) for long legs.

This was definitely a statement piece! I loved wearing it - especially because of the draped half-cape. It gave me an elegant feeling, but the color pop of the dress made it modern. The mix of pink, orange, and red (at the sleeves) allowed me to have some fun with the color of the accessories! What a fun dress! Loved the partial cape, so cool and felt very much like a workday superhero. As others have said the weight of the cape pulls on the dress a bit. Really wouldn't be a big deal if you get a size that fits you perfectly. I felt this dress ran large so my normal size is 2 and if I would've gotten a 0 I think the shoulders would have fit perfectly, so if in doubt select a smaller size. That being said I received lots of compliments and felt unstoppable at my presentation and appointments that day!

I received SOOO many compliments on this dress! The bright pink and coral, two of my favorite colors, each making bold statements to the dress, especially the cape! So fun! The cape did weigh down the dress a bit, that I almost transformed the dress to be a one off the shoulder kind, but I had to adjust a few times to keep it on straight. The sleeves have a little red 'pop' that peaks underneath that adds a nice contrast, yet small, detail. The back of the dress v's in the back and has a white, bold zipper. I almost considered wearing the dress the other way around! The dress felt great on. If your a fan of pink and coral and looking for something that stands out and pops, this dress s for you. I'd say it was like a mullet- business in the front, party in the back :)

Boxy fit, but fun flirty half cape made up for that. I wore it to an opening at the Dali Museum for the Horst fashion photography exhibit paired with some furry Sky LA shoes. I had a couple of compliments on the shoes, but no comments on the dress. It is not very flattering to the arms (unless you have great arms).

This dress has a mod style/sari look going-on, which was perfect for the Indian wedding I wore it to! Received lots of compliments and was comfortable the entire day in it. The only issue that I had was the fabric was a little heavier on the cape side, which made the dress pull down a bit. Overall, great dress and would rent again!

Wonderful shift dress that hides unwanted belly.

I ordered this and another dress and wound up wearing the other dress after careful consideration. This dress is adorable. I loved it! However it does run large and the cape side is heavier than the other so if it's big at all it will pull. Also, my bra showed through the side armhole. The dress runs a little big and can appear sack-ish. The fabric is very soft and color is fantastic. I'll definitely rent again when it's warmer and I'll order a size smaller as a back up.

Loved the colors of this dress. Top was too big and hips in front were snug. Hung heavy off shoulder and kept falling down. Probably not the best choice for smaller chests and bigger assets. The fabric also came wrinkled.

This dress is effortless to wear. I had it on all day with no real comfort issues except a slight snugness across the chest. It limited my forward reach a little bit that was the only issue. I am a 36DDD and that was the only issue I had. I found the dress to be flattering without being frumpy which can happen fast when you have a large chest. It has a great uniqueness about it with the cape sleeve that kept it interesting. I wasn't planning to wear the dress with tights but the Midwest in spring is about as unpredictable as it gets. I was impressed with how easy it was to translate to a warmer option. The only reason why it didn't get 5 stars was for the slight ill fit across the chest. I paired it with Alexis Sittar encrusted bib necklace for a little sparkle and it was a wonderful compliment! It also has little snap enclosures to hold your bra straps so you can wear a normal bra with it!

I wanted to stand out amongst other amazing women in a good way. The cape and the back of the dress had the standout details I sought. People had to keep zipping me up throughout the day. I wish they had a size 14 it would have been perfect. I received tons of compliments. I wish I wore my waist trainer. The dress is everything! If you want to stand out in a good way and exit with dramatic flair this is your dress!

Didn't end up wearing but I loved the cape detail. Didn't complement my curves and made me look boxy but still a beautiful piece, just not for me.
