Overall the dress was gorgeous and I received compliments all evening. The mid section was a bit snug and the zipper was really difficult to zip up. I had to put it on over my head (already fully zipped) because we simply could not get it zipped up all the way when I put it on the traditional way. It did unzip more easily. I loved the cut for my 5' frame and pockets in a dress always make my day! Especially since my clutch was too small for my phone. Overall I was very pleased with this dress.

I loved wearing this dress! I got the 2R, and it fit me perfectly. But, it was also VERY fitted around the rib cage, so if you are my size or bigger, I would get the 4R as a backup. I'm 5'5", and the back of the dress grazed the floor when I was wearing 2-3 inch heels. The pockets were so convenient! The zipper was a bit tricky to pull up because it gets stuck at the seam where the belt is. I definitely needed someone to help me pull up the zipper. Overall, I loved it and was sad to return it!

The fit was amazing- I am 5'3" 130lbs and got a size up from my normal street size and it fit perfectly! I received so many compliments on the dress and the color is just gorgeous. Quality was also amazing, highly recommend! #wedding

this gorgeous dress fits snuggly around the waist (really, the ribs/upper waist), but it's still comfy. i'm 5'4" with a 32A chest (29" waist) and have hips. i wear S/M tops and usually wear size 4 jeans. the 4R was perfect. (2R probably wouldn't have zipped up all the way; 6 would've been too large up top, but might've been more comfy for eating.) pockets - clutch for keeping my phone and hand sanitizer on me all night. length was perfect for 3" heels, although 4P probably could've worked too.

This dress was amazing. The high low hemline worked perfect on my 5'2 frame. It has POCKETS and was so much fun to wear. The colors were vibrant and the weight of the fabric was ideal for a cool spring evening in Michigan. I'm usually a 14/16 but the 18 fit nicely without having to worry about exposing too much. I got so many compliments and look forward to using Rent the Runway again.

Fits perfect. The only concern I had was that the zipper was tough to get over the seam, but had some help from a friend on it.

This was my back up style and I loved it so much I did a wardrobe change during my event! I just couldn’t return it without wearing it out lol. Length was a bit long for my height and I would sometimes step in the back up my dress (somehow), but it wasn’t too bad and manageable. Would absolutely rent again.

This dress is so flattering and I got many compliments, even days after the event! It was true to size and had nice deep pockets so I didn't need a clutch. I did notice at one point during the night that one of the pleats had come undone from the waist of skirt, so watch out for that.

I liked the high quality fabric and construction as well as feminine but not too revealing top. It felt like a ball gown. Pockets++! The full but contemporary cut lower half was fun to swish while dancing but I could imagine stepping on the tail while dancing or going up/down stairs if your legs are short relative to waist size. I would not describe it as a "slimming" cut, rather it smoothed and gracefully concealed bumpy midsection or thighs. An advantage of that is no need to wear shapewear. I needed a strapless bra for lift but a B or maybe C cup or lower might not. Strapp-y shoes a must to keep the ankles looking dainty! Bust and rib cage size pretty tight relative to waist, which contributed to some pooch at the underarm as shown in my picture, so order on the up-side if you're broad at the top.

I love the way this gown was designed. When you walk, it sways like you're a model/in a movie. It was very comfortable. A little long on the back so be careful about stepping on it (especially when getting in and out of the car) but overall, very complimentary, stylish, and wonderful!

I loved this dress, a nice heavy thick fabric that kept me warm, it stayed where it was suppose to. It is. Long dress, but I am short so I had to wear 4 inch heels to keep it off the ground. Beautiful colors and loved the way it flowed when walking.

The dress was gorgeous and I got a ton of compliments! It was flattering and the best part is... it has POCKETS! Size up ... if you're bigger up top, size up twice. I wish I would have sized up two sizes, and I'm not even that top heavy. It fit me perfect everywhere else. Overall, loved the dress!

This dress is so beautiful. I loved the heaviness of the fabric, the pockets, and the stunning blue colors. I have a tiny waist and bust, but larger hips. The fit of this dress was perfect. I received so many compliments!

This was on the smaller side of my usual sizes, so I knew it was a risk, but sadly, it was three inches short of zipping all the way up-- if you've got a large chest, prepare to size up a fair bit (and you might still be out of luck. But I still reviewed this because the fabric is SO gorgeous! I wish it would have worked for me.

I absolutely loved this dress. The print is so pretty in person. I’m usually between a 6 and an 8 and the 8 worked out well. If you are well endowed I recommend sizing up.

This dress was beautiful! I’m in between sizes currently (14/16) and there was only the 16 available for the time frame I needed it for. I read the reviews and they’re right, it does run small. I’m pear shaped, so it was still a little loose in the left armpit area, but I used some fashion tape to keep it up. A 14 wouldn’t have zipped up, so the 16 was definitely my size. I received SO many compliments that night and felt like so glamorous in it. I highly recommend it! I wore 3” heels and the length was perfect on my 5’4’ frame.

I was able to squeeze into this dress but super unbearably tight in the bust. If you’re any larger then an A cup size up. Perfect length with a 3” heel. Other than that, dress was amazing for a black tie event and received many compliments all night.

The colors in the dress are gorgeous. It is a little snug around the chest/ribs. Was perfect for a black tie wedding.

I SO wish this dress had fit. I normally wear a size 4 but when I ordered I was so in love with the dress that I ordered a 2 because it was the only size they had available. It zipped but breathing wasn’t so much an option…it definitely runs true to size! Other than that everything about the dress is beautiful for your next formal event!

Got sooo many compliments all night long! Size 0 fit perfectly— ended up wearing 4” heels and it was still a little long but didn’t get in the way of dancing. Would highly recommend some fabric tape to hold the hanger ribbons in place since they came pop out when dancing.

Omg I LOVED this dress. I ordered an 8 (my regular size) and they sent a 10 as a back up. The 8 fit great but the little bit of overhang fat above my armpit just wouldn’t cut it, so I wore the 10, it was a little big in the bust area so I wore a strapless bra which made it the perfect fit. Makes you feel amazing!!!!

I rented this dress at the last minute and it was a huge hit! Fit like a glove and I received compliments all night. The color is gorgeous, has pockets and don't need to wear a bra. I loved it!

Wore this to a friend's wedding and received lots of compliments! I typically wear a size 14, and had ordered both a 14 and 16 in this - (I'm about 5'6", 215 lbs, 38B) but was unable to zip the 14. I ended up wearing the 16, which was still a little tight in the top, but was wearable. I would definitely recommend sizing up, especially if you're larger chested (I am not lol). The dress itself is stunning, and the cut was very flattering. The material was heavy but very nice! I'd highly recommend!

This dress fit me perfectly. It was extremely comfortable to wear - it wasn't tight at all in the ribs, but also wasn't too loose. There are deep pockets, which was an exciting added bonus. The fit makes there be ample space for larger bums/thighs, which worked great for me. I absolutely loved this dress - the fit, the shape, the color - I got so many compliments on it.

I wore this to a fall wedding, and loved this dress so much. It's a gorgeous blue pattern. Comfortable on. Easy to wear. It almost flows behind you as you walk with the high-low cut. It did fit tighter in the bust, so I wore the larger size (8R) from my normal size 6. Bust 32DDD. Would 100% rent this dress again!

I am a new mom so I wasn't sure about fit, and this was my first time using RTR. I ordered a 6, but it was a little too tight, so I ended up wearing the back up size of 8. I'm 5' 4", and it was a liiiittle long on me. For example, during certain movements, the shoulder strap would float off my shoulder because of the tight bodice. Also, it was much longer on me than the stock photos provides. In 3 1/2" heels it touched the ground enough that I tripped on it while dancing. Having the pockets is so great and I got SO. MANY. compliments on it. Like, too many to count. I felt great!
