Perfect style and fit. So many Compliments

I received a lot of complaints! I had people at the church and at the wedding telling me what a beautiful dress it was. I was able to dance and sit comfortably. I wore 4in heels and the length was perfect.

Not only does this dress look absolutely stunning, it’s incredibly comfortable. I didn’t need tape or anything to hold the ladies in place and the padded bra inserts eliminated the need for a bra. I’m 5’6, 135lbs. This dress showed off my curves in all the right ways. The 2L was the perfect length for 3 inch heels. My only criticism would be the fraying of the top of the sheer modesty panel. It wasn’t too noticeable but bothered me because every other part of the gown was perfect.

Loads of compliments on this one! Highly recommend! This dress was very comfortable and it's ultimately the reason I chose it, as it was actually my back up. The length was perfect at my height with three inch heels. Obviously you can't wear a bra with this deep neckline, so you'll want to use lots of fashion tape if your girls don't stay where they should without help ;). It has a mesh panel in the middle for extra support. There's a little train at the back but I could walk around easily without holding it up or worrying about stepping on the hem. It's a really dark navy. You can't tell it's navy until you put it next to black in fact. It's yet another dress from RTR that I didn't want to send back!!

I rented this dress for my brother's wedding and it was stunning! It does run very large I am normally a size 6 and I wore a two so size down for the backup. It is sexy yet modest enough to be formal and I was able to wear a normal bra. It is very long, I am 5'6 and wore 5 inch heels. Overall I loved it and would rent again.

I rented this dress for my mom's 50th birthday party! There are no cons I can think of for this dress. This dress is by far my favorite rental from RTR. It fit me perfectly, and hugged all my curves in the right place. I did not need to wear a bra or adhesives with this dress since it came with padding. I would definitely recommend renting this dress, just be ready for a ton of compliments!!

Wore size 4 although the 2 fit, just more snug. I was wearing spanx and opted to have some more room with the 4. Many compliments on this dress. Easy to dance in and doesn't weigh you down. Loved that this has cups in it already. I didn't have to worry about finding the right bra with the open back, which was one of the main reasons whey I loved this dress!

Very comfortable and flattering.

This dress was perfect! The pics on the site don't do it justice. It is much more form fitting until about mid-hip. There are lightly lined cups so no need to worry about a bra if you're smaller chested. There's a bit of a train which was a pleasant surprise. I did need to wear heels as the dress is a bit long and I was stepping on it. (I'm 5'4") One drawback- it wasn't very forgiving after dinner! I received a lot of compliments and I'd definitely rent again if I decide not to buy it.

Fit great. Wore spanx to smooth it all out. Was worried about bra so used nude medical tape and it was perfect. I'm 5'4", curvy hips, 141lbs

This was my first choice and was so excited when i tried it on, it was a perfect fit! My husband loved the way the dress looked on me. It was so comfortable. I'm 5'8 and the dress was just the right length with 3" heels, it's slightly longer in the back. #gala

Fit perfectly! Thought it'd be a bit short I'm 5'4 but it was perfect.

The fit of the dress was great! I didn't wear a bra with it because the pads in the dress were the perfect amount of coverage. The mesh gives a great look without feeling exposed. The Long was too long for me but was the only one left in my size but that's the only thing I would have changed

The dress fit wonderfully. I'm slightly larger chested than normal (1 month postpartum), but there was plenty of room even for some nursing pads (just in case). The shear mesh front was nice and reassuring to make me comfortable that I wasn't gonna fall out of my dress. This fit like a glove, and I tried to embrace my tummy roll in the picture as it's only been 4 weeks. :P The length was good with my 3" heels I only stepped or was tripped occasionally. I carried the back end when outside. Taller heels would have been perfect.

Flattering, elegant, cosmopolitan dress. Heavier material than expected which made it possible not to wear a bra. Comfortable.

This was my back-up dress and it was a perfect fit. It was comfortable and just the right amount of sassy to it. I ordered an 8L and I wore 6in heels and it was a great length. I would rent again. I fluctuate in sizes as I do body building competitions, so I can wear anything from a 4R to an 8R. Currently I am 5'5" 1/2, 130lbs, 34 b-c cup. Wide shoulders/back, smaller waist with an ok booty. I wanted a dress to accentuate my arms & shoulders, semi cinched waist, be conservative yet sexy. This dress had it covered. Based on other reviews & pics, I choose 6R as my original & 4R as a back up. Ended up wearing the 4R with 4" heels. The train was longer than expected & dragged a bit & the hubby stepped on it as he was not use to be wearing anything formal. Wore a low cut small waisted bustier & dress was perfection.

Wore this to a black tie work event and it was gorgeous. The deep V was fine with petals and a quick pat of fashion tape, and the dress fit like a glove. Classy, feminine, and made me feel fabulous. Also, special props to the RTR store in Georgetown - this was a replacement Dre's since I really didn't care for the one I ordered, and they were gracious and wonderful.

I wore this to the Tony Awards and felt like I could've been on that stage myself! I've never received more compliments before! Things I loved: didn't need to wear a bra, SO COMFORTABLE, slight train was stunning, my boobs (seriously though I never feel comfortable braless and this exceeded my every expectation in that department), perfect length with 3" heels on 5'1" me Could've been better: the hook/eye clasp and snap on the back of my neck constantly came undone, the slightly rumpled mesh neckline from being well-loved by others Note: I usually wear an 8 in everyday dresses, but this 6 fit wonderfully!

This was my first Rent the Runway, and it was a great experience. The dress is just how other reviews described- super comfortable, and guaranteed that people will be complimenting it all night long. I ordered a size 2R and 0R, since I'm normally a size 2 to 4 in most clothes. It does run a little small- the size 2R would probably have worked, but the 0R fit best. It was great to dance in!

This dress was awesome ! The only bummer was there was one random pad balled up in the front of my dress!! I was able to remove it if I wouldn't have been I couldn't have worn it. The other size had another pad rolled up on my back and that would've been impossible to remove .

I was so nervous to rent a dress from RTR, but it turned out wonderfully! I got compliments on the dress all night long, and it fit like a dream. It ran very true to size and fit close enough to show off curves while still being very forgiving of any lumps and bumps. It was so comfortable too. You won't be able to wear a bra with this dress, but there is some built in support. Depending on your preference you may want to use a stick on bra or tape to situate yourself, but I (a DD cup) didn't feel the need. Overall a perfect first experience with RTR!

Beautiful dress with a great neckline and back. Got lots of compliments - I'm 5'4" and the back dragged a bit but I was wearing flats so heels probably would have helped. Perfect for a formal occasion.

I tried to upload a full size photo but the image was too large. I wore flats and the length was great -- not too much dragging in the back and I definitely wasn't tripping over the front. I'm 5'9, 180 lbs with an hourglass/pear shape. Pros: the mesh keeps the dress secure and a little less revealing (but this dress shows a lot of chest so keep that in mind). Cons: I had to give it back 😂 If you're on the fence, just do it! You won't regret it and you'll feel great!

I got compliments all night - mostly from women who I had never met after several hours of the night where they had a chance to observe me and the dress for hours and got the courage to share their compliments unprompted and without an introduction. This said more to me than guys complimenting me because it truly showed appreciation for the look. The compliments really took me by surprise because I was so comfortable in the dress that I almost forgot I was wearing anything other than comfy home clothes. I would recommend this to anyone in an instant!

I needed a dress for a black tie dinner and this was perfect! The dress was in great condition although the fasten in the back came undone several times but i would buy the dress if I could. I liked it that much! It was a little more revealing than i'm used to so i used some fabric tape to stick it to my chest and felt more than comfortable after. I wore 2 inch heels and that seemes perfect. No bra necessary!

This dress was great! It fit very well and was so flattering. I enjoyed that you didn't have to wear a separate bra, as it had padding built in. The back is almost a lovely as the front! One note on the padding (also mentioned in a previous review): one of the pads was folded over on itself so it was a little lumpy. It was unable to re-position it (like you can in a swimsuit pad), as it is sewn in place. However, the dress liner is so thick that you really could not tell at all. The neckline was a tad scratchy after a few hours but otherwise it was very comfortable. I wore low heels - about 1.5" and the length was perfect.
