I rented this dress for a formal New Years party in Washington DC and absolutely loved it. I usually wear a 6 or 8. The 8 was the only size available and it fit perfectly. The dress is comfortable with the slight stretch to it. The material is thick - very high quality. My backup dress had a mid drift cutout and middle slit but I liked the side split of this one better. I would deficiency rent this dress again!

Rented for a wedding and it was great! I was comfortable all night. Gave the dress a pop of color with some pink shoes. Overall the fit was snug in a good way and very comfortable

I am 5’6”, the 4L was good length with 3 inch heels.

I had originally ordered the 4 and it was too small and I was discouraged. I then only had the 6L option available and it was the perfect length! I was not tripping at all and only had small heels on. This dress is the perfect amount of stretchy material. Unlike other strapless dresses I never once had to pull it up because of the arm strap holding the dress up so well. I almost bought this dress, but I will certainly be renting again! Love!

I LOVED THIS DRESS! The fabric is thick enough where you don't need to wear a bra. I'm 5'2 and the length was great with some heels. I was the most happy about fitting into the dress with my body type (34",32",43"). The only drawback (not major) was that the strap felt a little right on my arm/shoulder. No biggie, I still felt great in it. I would definitely recommend it to anyone with a similar body type.

Definitely runs VERY small. I read a review that says she wears a 4, but ended up in an 8. I'm usually a 4 so I ordered a 6 and an 8, and wore the 8. It's a classic black gown. No give at all with the material which actually makes for a very flattering and slimming fit. I loved it. Would highly recommend it. Just size up!!

The quality of this dress met my expectations. Off one shoulder is stylish and elegant, providing support but without leaving you feeling completely bare shouldered. Despite running a tad small, I was able to still wear my normal size, but definitely select a size up as a backup. It was comfortable and easy to wear. At 5' 9", the long length was perfect.

This dress is simple but just so classy and timeless. The material is sturdy and the dress is well constructed so it gives a very flattering shape. I could have gotten away with no bra but for me it looked better with a strapless bra. I ended up wearing a different dress for my event but this was a close second! I LOVED this simple dress. It snatched me right in my waist in the perfect place. It was tight but a stretchy fabric so it was still comfortable. Because of the tightness, I didn’t have to wear a bra or boob tape either. I got so many compliments! The only thing is that the one-shoulder was too tight for me to raise that arm up over my head. Which only impacted dancing. Run don’t walk for this one!

I’m so glad this dress worked out- my experience with RTR was not the best when last minute my 2nd pick was cancelled and this was my only hope. For the cost of the items I rented, I don’t feel like I got a “deal”, but if I’m specifically reviewing the dress, it fit beautifully and I was able to sit, walk and dance with ease in it. It flattered me in all the right places. Definitely need help zipping it up! No bra was needed.

Wore this to a black tie wedding. This dress was beautiful and very flattering. So many compliments. I was able to wear the larger of the sizes I ordered, but it was snug. I recommend sizing one size UP.

This dress is forgiving bc it's black and the fabric is decently thick. It's very chic and timeless and I got a ton of compliments from strangers at the symphony. It was a little tight in the waist but overall was very comfortable. Would recommend.
