I was in desperate, last minute need of a dress for this black tie wedding, and this was perfect! I sizes up, but it was still fairly tight on my hips, but it's stretchy material made it easy to work with. The color is pretty pinky purple, so I had to wear with silver jewelry rather than my usual gold.

Runs small! The fabric doesn’t have a lot of stretch and the ruffle sleeve is tight so definitely size up. Very sexy, will give you a great shape!

Wore to a wedding. I am not a fan of strapless dresses when I want to get down on the dance floor - but I broke my own rules and rented this dress. It fit perfectly and I got compliments ALL night. Definitely rent this one!

The dress fit amazingly! I saw reviews that said to size up and I did and the fit was perfect. This dress was perfect for my event however if you're considering it, it would not be very practical if you have to lift your arms given the sleeves are tight. The length was perfect (Im 5'6" and wore 4 inch heels). I looked and felt beautiful and didn't want to take it off!

I wore this dress for a movie premiere. It was perfect! I am about a size 8 and I wore an 8. I am a semi athletic build with thicker thighs but a smaller chest (36B). Yes the dress was snug on my thighs but how else are you going to get this goddess shape that the dress is made for it not. The upper part was a bit bigger for me but that is because my boob to thigh ratio don't match. I wore a strapless pushup and it was perfect. Also I wore Spanx that go from under the boob to mid thigh to give a very even silhouette. The sleeves did restrict my arm movement, but I just made sure I had items close to me. I loved this dress and I am so happy I got it. ❤️

I wore this to an outdoor gala. I was going to choose something different but I’m so glad I wore this! I should have sized up on this one. I wore a 4R but should have worn a 6R. It was TIGHT and I couldn’t lift my arms but the silhouette and color were GORGEOUS! I would love to wear this again in the future. It’s tough not lifting your arms, but I think it was worth the discomfort. Looks great in photos!

I’m 5’3” 110 pounds and size 0 was the perfect fit. Loved the color for Mardi Gras, and the material was really nice and thick!

I felt gorgeous the entire night. The dress enhanced my very subtle curves in the most amazing way, and actually managed to give me a waistline! I tend to have a slightly larger chest and smaller hips proportion wise, so it fit like a glove. Though, as several stated, the top did slip down a tiny bit throughout the night. Still, to me it was a hundred percent worth it. The off the shoulder sleeves were definitely limiting, but I could still dance and move a bit (as long as I didn't want to put my arms above my head). I also have a short torso and I always wear petite sizes, but the 8 regular fit fine because of the raised front skirt. I did add some pretty high heels, but that was nothing new for me. Can't say enough good things!

Absolutely loved the fit on this dress. The only thing to note is the sleeves made it hard to lift my arms when dancing. However, I looked great and got a lot of compliments throughout the night.

Rented this for a black tie wedding reception and received TONS of compliments! It was absolutely beautiful, though slightly more fitted than I had intended. I was in a dance performance at the wedding and the sleeves were a bit tight (hard to lift my arms completely above my head), but otherwise I found it to be comfortable and I spent the entire night dancing. It's a simple dress but packs a punch and the color is fun! Fits mostly TTS, though very little give. Would rent again.

Dress looked/fit fantastic. Very pleased! A bit hard to dance in with the tightness around the knees but not a big deal...pulled up the skirt while dancing and that did the trick! Arm things a bit constraining but they look nice.

The dress was gorgeous and very unique. I received many compliments through the night. The color was vibrant and the cut was sexy. The dress did fit incredibly tight. I needed to completely unzip it to use the bathroom! The fabric falls under the shoulders which limits your ability to move your arms fully. I should have ordered a size up. However, it did become more comfortable as the night when on. I was able to dance at the party, even though I couldn’t raise my hands in the air!

The dress was absolutely beautiful! I got tons of compliments last night and it fit my body like a glove! The color was also absolutely stunning! My only complaint is that they sent me two sizes and the smaller size was actually a completely different dress so I'm really happy that the size fit but if it didn't I would've had an issue.

I did get a lot of compliments and really enjoyed this dress. I'm pretty flat chested so had to add some pads to fill out the top but found the waist area to be super tight.

I found the dress to be a little constricting around the sleeves. You have a limited range of motion but other then that, this dress was great. The material is not heavy, which is always a plus. Hugs you in all the right places.

Definitely need to size up. The dress is very form fitting with no fabric stretch. Very flattering and great color!

The dress was the perfect fit for a summer wedding in NC! The dress is tighter on the hips than on the bust. Would highly suggest!

I'm pear-shaped, so I usually find that dresses can be hit or miss when trying to fit both my upper and lower body comfortably (I'm 5'2" and ~130ish). The four was a little snug on the bottom but it conforms to you like a pair of jeans. A six would have left my chest at risk of being exposed on the dancefloor! So many compliments on the color and shape of this dress. This would have been a perfect night even if I was wearing a paper bag dress, but feeling like a ten in this dress made it even better.

Im 5.3” and the size 4 runs small to me. The size 6 runs small at the hips. But it fit better than the size 4.

Neither of the dresses I ordered for my NYC wedding worked out, but the RTR Flagship store came to the rescue with this gorgeous pick! I am 5'11'', 135lbs. This size 4 hugged all the right places and I received compliments all night! Material was thick enough to hide the fact that I had been stuffing my belly full of NY bagels and dirty water hot dogs all weekend.

Classy and elegant however it seems like the dress is a "bridal" size. I'm a street size 8 usually (sometimes 6) so I wore the 12. May have even been more comfortable in a 14. No bra necessary for this number.

This beautiful dress was a flattering choice for a formal dress code wedding that matched my partner’s light gray groomsman suit. Fabric is opaque and thick enough that I did not wear a bra. If you are concerned about your stomach, I would recommend shapewear; I wore a thong to avoid lines. Wore with hair down, collar necklace, and 3-4” nude heels. Dress dragged the ground in 1-2” heels, I am 5’2”. The violet color worked well with my skin tone, which is naturally tan. Four stars as downsides for me with a muscular body type were the arms and getting the dress over hips and butt. As other reviews state, the sleeves limit mobility to about shoulder height. They are tight if you have arm muscle. For dancing I took my arms out and tucked the sleeves into the dress body, and the dress stayed up without issue. It was also difficult for me to get the dress over my hips and butt, causing some difficulty with sitting and in the restroom as well. If you have bigger or more muscular glutes this dress will fit you like a glove - but you will also have to wrestle with the glove. Overall, I would wear this again as a solid choice.

I loved this dress! I wore it to a formal dinner and the purple was a fantastic pop of color amongst a sea of black dresses. It fit perfectly snug and secure and flattered my few curves. I will admit though, the reviews that it is a bit restrictive to move are pretty accurate, and I wouldn’t have chosen to wear it for an evening of dancing. I am a size 0, but if given the option again, I probably would have ordered a size 2 as a backup to compare fit, especially because after eating dinner I didn’t have much breathing room. Still, I happily chose fashion over comfort, and the dress was perfect for a sit-down affair!

I’m 155lbs 5’4” athletic/curvy build. The dress is extremely beautiful and I received many compliments. I enjoyed my rent because this dress definitely accentuated all of my curves. The biggest down side are the arm loops because they are extremely restrictive, this is the reason for the 4 stars. My measurements 34”/28/40. I ordered an 8 I usually wear a 6. It was still A very tight squeeze over my hips and made it tougher to go to the restroom. If you’re a very curvy woman who orders up because of them you may have to go up 2 sizes for the comfortable fit that you’re looking for. All in all I loved the elegance and over all finished look of the evening. I wore it to a black tie event. 💜

I was disappointed that I couldn’t wear this dress. It was stunning on: accentuated curves, beautiful color, elegant. But I couldn’t move around; the bottom hugs tight but the top is lose and would fall down over my (admittedly small) bust easily - glad I tested dance moves at home first. I sized you like reviews said, and maybe that’s why, but not sure I would have fit in the smaller size given how the 4 hugged. Like others said, you can’t lift your arms. Also I prefer wearing flats to weddings so I got the R and it hits just an inch too short imo. Great for an event that you don’t need to move around but not for a wedding.

I wore this dress to a work gala and received so many compliments! The color is breathtaking and the high seam on the front makes it easy to walk in without having to lift the dress. The only down side was that the sleeves were very restricting and it was tight around the thighs. I wouldn’t recommend this dress if you were planning on getting down on the dance floor, but it was great for a fancy gala dinner.

This dress was so pretty. Gorgeous color and beautiful heavy (lined) fabric that smooths everything out. It was a bit tight in my bust but I made it work. Didn't wear a bra and felt supported due to the heavy, nice fabric. One sleeve detached towards the end of the night which was a bummer. I just tucked the other sleeve in and went with a strapless look instead.

Amazing for curvy figure. Arm sleeves were a little restricting but great fit. Would size up if you are full figured in middle. Bust is very true to size.

Dress was definitely beautiful and the color was very pretty but the sleeves made it almost impossible to have a good time at the wedding I attended. They were super restrictive. I probably wouldn't rent this dress again due to the sleeves.

It fell down a little but it was manageable. The hips were a little tight but abdomen looser so I had to fix it a bit before I took photos but overall really pretty and I was happy!

This dress is GORGEOUS! The color is really stunning and the cut is something special. At 5 feet tall... and with fairly high shoes, this dress was just slightly too long. I wasn't stepping on it, but I did have to pull it up to walk through any wet grass, etc. Recommend petite sizes for anyone vertically challenged if you can get it. 4 stars instead of 5 due to the comfort factor... really wanted an outfit change in the later evening for dancing, but otherwise very much loved this!

This dress was really a show stopper and super cute! The only complaint I have is the lack of mobility in the arms due to the drape sleeve being attached to the dress. Also, I wear 34D and although this dress does a great job of keeping those bad boys in, I do wish the dress would have covered them just a little more. Otherwise, I really enjoyed this rental!
