This dress is extremely lightweight and the fabric is stretchy. I am usually a size 4 in dresses and wore a 2L in this one. I am 5'11" athletic build. Didn't have to fuss with fit or dress to stay up all night. It literally fit on top like a glove and never felt too tight or lose. My bust is 34C

Rented as an option for my bridesmaids for an outdoor summer wedding, and I loved it! As with other reviews, if you are small- to medium-chested, the top will droop a little. When I folded over the neckline a little bit it really helped - you may be able to get creative with fashion tape to help reduce the bagginess. I put both pics in so you can see the difference between tucking extra material and not. The material is very lightweight, and would be perfect for an outdoor event in heat and humidity, if you had to wear a long dress. However, because it's so lightweight, the fabric did tend to show panty lines. The front of the skirt is a wrap-like situation, so the "slit" is really just where the fabric falls when you walk. That said the "slit" goes all the way to the waist, so it can get a bit revealing when walking or in windy weather. The wrap also helps to hide any stomach issues. I'm 5'7" and had on 2.5 inch wedges to try on the dress - length was to the floor for the regular. Shorter ladies might struggle with the length. I wear a 6, and sometimes an 8 in RTR brands, but this size 4 felt slightly too big. For an event I'd likely go with the 2, but I do tend to like my dresses on the fitted side. Overall this is a solid option, and I will likely be using it for my bridesmaids!

This gown was perfect. Loved the one shoulder... very forgiving lightweight dress, like a Grecian Gown. Fabric has more of a sheen, so not being glittery itself it was great... it's how much you bling it up that can adjust the formality. So many compliments -- many women coming over just to tell me they loved my dress. I ordered the 10L and 12L per reviews re length. I'm 5'10 and wore 2+" sandals and it was still long. Unless you're 6ft+ in heels--the Long would be too long. FYI.

This dress is thinner material than I expected - perfect for an outdoor wedding in hot weather. The slit was barely noticeable except in the wind or when walking. I was worried about the top since I'm small chested and don't fill it out, but it looked just as great with the top a bit loose. VERY comfortable and I got compliments all night! I'm 5'9" and was able to wear heels with this. 150lbs and 32A/B. 32-30-36.

Chests a little big compared to the fit of the rib cage. I doubled up on my padding in my bra. Full strapless worn.

This one is a showstopper and so comfortable. You can wear a strapless bra easily. The fabric is thin and breathes and moves and is very flattering. There's a nice slit so you can show leg if you want. Great dress.. but def runs a little big.

It fit great, however I usually wear an 8 (34/26D) and the 6 was a little loose up top. I wore petals instead of a bra, and seamless underwear. Overall very comfortable and great length (I'm 5'10" without heels)

I ordered this as a back up dress and SO thankful I did! I am having some stomach health issues and was needing a forgiving/not tight dress. This.was.heaven. I'm 6'0 and about 180... the dress was almost too long but I wear heels at my height and it was perfect! The fit is a bit large but I needed that and I was in this from 4p-3a. Never felt uncomfortable. Got tons of compliments. Highly recommend

Stunning dress! Perfect for formal event. Very comfortable and easy to navigate...especially on the dance floor! Bust area hangs a bit. Dress runs big. Based upon previous reviews, I ordered one size down which made for a good fit. Received numerous compliments throughout the evening. Loved this dress!

The fit was really nice in the overall but the material was so stretchy it almost looked a little baggy. I Probably could've worn a 0R. I got lots of compliments and the dress was very easy to dance in!

It is a very light weight dress and so comfortable. Everything shows under so I wore breast petals and commando undies. But I do not like shape wear because it's too constricting so this was perfect for me. The dress is also very simple but elegant.

I wore this to a family wedding in England. I received a ton of compliments. It was very comfortable to wear so I was surprised at how elegant it looked in person and in pictures. Loved it. I'm 5'4" and I wore 4" heels, and it was just a tad too long.

I had a hard time finding a dress that fit our theme for this year, this one fit the bill! The 4R was a little big, but I don’t know if I could have gone down to a 2. The dress was long, but I expected that, since I’m only 4’11”. I got a ton of compliments on the dress!!

Love this dress! It's so pretty and elegant. I do suggest going one size up for backup, since the fabric has no stretch. Other than that, it is true to size. It's great for any cup size. I suggest wearing a strapless bra because of the one shoulder that is out. You will definitely stand out!!

Didn't end up wearing this number because I went with another choice. I’m typically a size 4 (small on top, booty on bottom) but the size 2L fit better with less gapping in the material around the waist and hips. I’m small busted, so the area under the arm without the strap could have been a little tighter, but I think wearing a strapless bra would have helped. I am 5'7" and refuse ro wear a heel shorter than 4 inches; this dress is qith 4 inch heels and it is still skimming the floor, which for me, was perfect. Would rent again to actually wear next time!

This dress was so fun to wear I've rented it twice. I'm usually a 12 but it runs large. I made it work the first time with some pinning to my bra to prevent a wardrobe malfunction, and I also had to pin the fabric in the bust area bc there was too much. It made it look saggy (not a good look for your boobs!). But one little pin made it drape nicely and it wasn't noticeable. I went with the size down for my second time and it fit very well. It is lightweight and slinky and stretchy so it was very comfortable. Wore spandex and a strapless bra.

This dress runs large I would have preferred the smaller size 10R. But wore this one to my event. Very comfortable and loved that it was silver at an event that had everyone was mostly in black. I would rent this dress again!

I'll start by saying I had to pick this dress up at the NYC store last minute the morning I left for a wedding because my order was never delivered. The options in the store were limited but I was able to find this one for an outdoor black tie optional wedding. The dress was beautiful and very unique, I got so many compliments on the color and style! Due to weather conditions it did get a bit wet at the bottom (slightly long for me, I'm 5'5") and that caused it to sag even more. Material is REALLY lightweight, almost feels like you're wearing pajamas. Material is also very stretchy so I'd probably order a size smaller than you think. If you're looking for a lightweight dress to make a statement in, this is the one!

Great dress! Definitely a sexy split situation happening. It is VERY long and the top was a bit big but overall it was a showstopper.

The theme for our opulent school fundraising gala was Puttin on the Ritz. A lot women wore black fringe dresses. This dress blended in great while standing apart a bit for its modern take on the theme. I liked how the dress had shape but also offered give. I wore a strappless bra and uses one piece of fashion tape that held all night. The clasp was really sewn in there but ultimately I was able to get ready on my own and surprise my husband, babysitter and three kids with my transformed look. The dress is lighter than it looks which is really fun. It does have an open hem so practice sitting before you leave. My heels were 3".

I rented this for a photo shoot. It was WAY TOO BIG throughout the entire dress. I wasn't gonna wear it but the photographer ended up clamping it in the back. We're talking about 3 inches too loose in the back. It was stunning and comfy but beware of the size discrepancy.

This dress is very flattering and the material is soft and has a little stretch. I am bigger busted, so I was worried about the top being too tight but that wasn't a problem at all. I'm 5'8 and the dress was the perfect length when I was wearing 3 in heels. One thing: I wish I had used some fashion tape on side of the top without the shoulder because it slipped down a little throughout the night.

I ordered both the 6R and 8L as I just needed an 8 or a 6 and those were the only two options available for my event, a NYE wedding. Overall the dress is gorgeous and fits true to size, the silver looks liquid-y in person. Got soooo many compliments. It's very flowy and wears nicely all night. The 8L had a nickel-sized stain on it so I did not even bother trying it on.

Very classic chic dress that is great for formal affairs. This dress runs true to size even though the material of the dress is stretchy. It is fitted towards the chest and waist area but very comfortable room at the hips. At 5'0", the Regular was a bit long on me even with 2-3" heels on. I wish they had a Petite size because I would definitely wear to my next big event.

I ordered this on a size 10 for a formal ball, it was huge on me! Everywhere, including the bust. I could easily go 2 sizes down. Also, compared to the other dresses I got, this one didn't look as expensive. The fabric is very thin, not a lot of structure. Maybe if I got the right size it would look good, maybe I'll try it for another occasion.
