I have never worn anything other than a 0 my whole life but I am so glad I ordered the 2 as my backup size because I couldn't even get the 0 over my thighs - DEFINITELY size up. Other than that, the dress is perfect. It is tight but super flattering and not uncomfortably tight to the point where you can't eat or move. It stayed up perfectly but if you have a smaller chest you would be able to wear a strapless bra easily. I got so many compliments with this dress! I wore it to a sorority formal but it would be a great dress for any cocktail event or even black tie affair- it is still classy and sleek while looking hot!

I rented a 10R since I'm normally a 6 and an 8R would've been perfect for me. The 10R worked great though. My only complaint is that the thigh area is not as fitted as I wanted but I believe that was because I sized up, but I feel like even if I had the right size, it still would've been loose (see red circle). This dress gives you a GREAT SHAPE! I have a pretty athletic body and not a lot of curves and this dress gave me a great shape, especially in my waist. Don't regret it, RENT IT!

Incredible dress and perfectly on theme for my sisters James Bond/ casino royale themed 50th birthday. I said runs small because I don’t have huge boobs but it was hard to zip near my ribs, but I do wear a 36/38 bra. So if that’s a trouble spot for you too, maybe size up

This was a dress I ordered more out of curiosity than because I thought it would work for the formal event I rented it for. It’s *almost* nice enough to be a more casual/youthful formal piece. Almost. Unfortunately, the proportions were off for me and I just looked confused. The dress wasn’t long enough on the long side or short enough on the short side. It was too big in the hip and too small in the bust. I could see this being fun for a party or a night out, especially if you can fill it in.

The photo doesn't do the look justice. This dress stuns. In a room full of nicely clad individuals, people still stopped mid-sentence upon seeing this dress. I felt dressed to kill. Some notes: it's an unforgiving 2, very tight, little stretch, and long. With a 30" inseam and 3" heels, the dress just barely hovered above the ground. The short part of the dress was a desirable length - short enough to be sexy but not too short to be worrisome when sitting down or walking.

I want this dress to own forever! The dress is beautifully made, great material and it fit amazingly. I received a ton of compliments and I was comfortable all evening--even on the dance floor. I'd definitely rent again.

I am 5'1" 110lb and the 0R was perfect! The length came right to the floor with 4 inch heels. The top stayed up (I'm a 34B) with no bra and the dress was very easy to walk in due to the slit. The 2R fit pretty much the same and was the same length but I wore the 0 bc it made me feel a little more "cinched." Highly recommend. Many, many compliments.

I should of purchased the next size up it wasn't available . So I had to pour myself in this dress! It's on the small size. I'm a true 12R

Form fitting, easy to accessorize.

My boyfriend and I were invited to a black tie wedding. He asked me to wear a short skirt, the bride asked me to wear floor length. So I met them in the middle, at first as a joke, but I so lucked out! This dress was beautiful, classic, elegant, and fit like a glove! I got compliments all night and felt amazing! Highly recommend!!

Fit was spot on and I truly did not have any issues. Highly recommend for a formal affair. We went to a formal NYE party with a Roaring 20's theme. This was perfect!

I usually wear a 0 but that was super tight and even the 2 was tight but it still fit to my body great. The dress gave me a really pretty hourglass shape and I've never received so many compliments at an event before!!

It was true to size I have large breast! 5’0 feet 111 pounds wore a size 2. A little long even with 5 inch heels!

Fits like a glove. Hugs in all the right spots. Tended to slide down throughout the night though. Don't recommend for large chested women. Fun and sexy gown though!

One of my favorites from RTR ever! Great for cocktail or gala, sexy but classic and modern looking. I rented the 2L and it got stuck in a snowstorm so I went to the store and squeezed myself into the 0- not my most comfortable decision but wow somehow it worked and made me look nice in photography. Even in the wrong size this dress is beautifully cut and flattering to the body, the high slit is amazing but not too much!

Not much wiggle room. Material does not stretch. But I loved the dress. True fit. Very sexy. And lots of compliments

The fit is a bit odd, it seemed rather loose in the lower tummy, tight in the rib cage, then loose in the chest again. But sizing up (actually went up two sizes based on reviews, but probably depends on your body type) made the rib cage thing a non issue and the tummy and chest were still form fitting enough (though my preference would have been tighter). Otherwise an amazing dress. Incredibly slimming, stays up easily, i felt snug and covered all night while still flashing skin! Wore to a formal wedding and felt right on point. Would have felt just as right at a slightly less formal event too. So multifunctional!

This fit dress perfect for me. Many people wrote reviews saying the dress ran very small. I am typically a size 0 and this dress fit me like a glove. The zipper was a little hard to get it to "give" but my fiancé was able to zip it up no problem for me. The material was very comfortable and surprisingly as a strapless dress I didn't have to keep pulling it up.

Dress was beautiful, gave me nice curves (I don't normally have lol) but it was very small on top for chest/upper back. The rest fit perfect, even size 10, my normal size, just not last 4 inches to zipper. Bigger chests "c" and up, highly recommend size up. Got so many compliments though!!

Ordered a 0 and a 2. I'm typically a 0 but ended up wearing the 2. It is a tight fit up top. I received a ton of compliments on it and it was very comfortable to wear all night.

I chose this dress for it's simplicity and that LEG SLIT. It totally delivered. Fit very well and true to size. I have a smaller chest (32B) and it fit appropriately. I got compliments on the slip and was reminded how slimming black is. Would recommend if you want a simple dress that still leaves an impression.

I am usually a size 0, but am so glad I ordered a size 2 for my backup because it fit perfectly (even a little snug)! The built in bra like structure was perfect because I didn't have to wear a bra. Everyone commented on how much they loved this unique dress and was perfect for my sorority formal. The packaging it came in was even amazing!

After reading reviews, I knew I had to size up in this dress. I am a true size 8 typically (sometimes a 6/10 but you never know!) and last minute they didn't have a size 10L. I really wanted to wear the 8 so I squeezed in it and it worked perfectly! I think a 10 would have fit perfect, but I still felt perfectly comfortable in the 8! Definitely love this dress, felt really pretty in it!

The 2R fit perfectly but was way too short. I am 5'6" and wore pretty tall heels so I had to go with the 4L which was a little roomier than I would hage liked but still was fine. wanted to get the 2L but was sold out when I ordered.

I tried on a size 10 in the store (see pic with hair up) but barely squeezed into it and my chest (34 c/d) was popping out. I opted for size 12 BUT it was falling down. I wore it with a bra, to add padding and it still fell down. It's GREAT for a curvy girl.

Order a size or two up! This was my back up dress, but I liked it better and RTR was able to overnight me a bigger size! Great service/dress
