I got a lot of compliments on this dress. It was a purple rain prince theme party and it was perfect. However it is very tight in the hips and the fabric does not stretch so I would recommend sizing up

The purple metallic adds a fun flair to this structured dress. Wore for a party with friends but could have also worn around parents. Has a little room in the stomach with is the perfect if you plan on eating and drinking a little! Would definitely rent again.

Rented this for an evening at a Michelin starred restaurant. In SF no one dresses up anywhere so we definitely stood out, but I didn't care. We got tons of extra attention from the wait staff saying it was nice to see people dressed up. Other diners commented as well. The color and shimmering fabric are beautiful. Typically I wear a 4 but was lucky enough to try in showroom so I knew 6 was right. No give so size up if in doubt. Wore a strapless bra. Love, love.

I wanted to love this dress. I really did, I rented it fir the opening of a film festival I am in, but unfortunately when it arrived, the dress is WAY too tight in the hips. I am an hour glass, so the top and waist fit great, but my hips were too wide. I'd love to see #RTR put measurements in inches on the clothes. Now that there is a limit on how many swaps per cycle. It would help out a lot!

Ran small, I normally wear 4 and has the wear the 6 which was still snug. Material had NO give. If I had gotten the 8 it would have been big everywhere

Fabric good, dress no. Too tight

The slit in the back goes up higher than expected. Couldn't wear. Hips were tight, waist was loose.

I ordered this two sizes up because I saw other reviews that it ran small. It was still quite small, the fabric does not have any stretch to it. Not very flattering if you have an curves as well.

I am 5'8, 140 lbs, 34B, and usually wear a 4 in cocktail dresses. I couldn't get the 4 up past my hips, and the 6 wouldn't quite zip. There is also no stretch or give. The band beneath the bust is very tight and the straps for the top are quite long. It might work better for someone with a smaller band size and larger bust. The color of the material is really pretty and I wish it had fit - would have been perfect for my Mardi Gras themed gala.

I got this in my size 8 and a backup of 10. Upon receipt, I knew that if it worked at all, I'd be wearing the size 10. ALAS! ALACK! I could barely fit the 10 over my hips---I'm not a very hip-blessed gal. So, the fit was tight af on the hips, baggy in the waist, and I don't even know how the top was. No stretch, per the other reviews. This was a no-go, no way could I wear this out, let alone walk or sit. Fortunately I had a backup outfit that ended up looking incredible in, so my night was not ruined.

This fit... but only sort of. Only in the sense that I could get it on. I'm a fairly average build, I think, but this dress appears to have been designed for someone with very small hips, not very small waist, and huge bust. It was definitely for a top heavy body type. If you're a pear, hourglass, or athletic type, it will likely not fit and look very odd. Listen to the reviews: very few people who rent this seem to wear it because the fit is so unfortunate.

I'm a size 4 usually and 2 or 6 depending on cut. This dress was a 6. Didn't get on at all. Also, the fabric is kinda coarse ? Spongy? Really odd. Extremely disappointing - I did like the length and color but not worth it at all

I love this dress so much and I REALLY wanted to wear it. Unfortunately I'm a true 14 and this dress... isn't. It's more like a small 12. Size up, ESPECIALLY if you have junk in the trunk. If it was true to size it'd be five stars!

I am a true size 12 with 40" hips and I couldn't even get the 12 past them. The 14 wasn't much better--the hip portion was so tight it made the fabric bunch up at the waist and was unwearable. The sizing is so odd--the bust is a bit tight if you're larger chested, but the waist is loose. I would only select this style if you have very narrow hips and even then I would make sure to order up a size or two.
