Slit was too high and not appropriate for work

Wore this for a bar association brunch and it was perfect. Tons of compliments and the color popped. The split was a bit high, but I would rent this one again in a heartbeat. Off to try the short sleeved version!

Wore to a Chamber Holiday Vendor Show. I got so many compliments on the cut and color! It really makes your waist look small! It was bit snug and I had to work the zipper a bit. I'm a 0 normally and sized up to a 2 and it was still snug but it was still super cute! I'm muscular in arms and back. Slit is pretty high but its sexy and conservative in one! 5ft 116 lbs

I wear between a 6 and 8 but am a 36 DD and since this dress looked snug in the photos I chose an 8. It fit beautifully and the color was outstanding! I can't begin to tell you how many compliments I received.

I wore this for work, I felt confident, sexy, and sure of myself. This dress has a slit up the middle of the thigh that goes high- like HIGH, however just be careful how you walk... and you'll be fine. I'm in love with this dress. I was thisssssssss close to purchasing it. I just might. My god, I love this dress. Also the neckline, is gorgeous!!! Shows off your collarbone in just the right way.

Gorgeous dress. Head turner for sure. It runs a little small so definitely size up. If you're renting for work and will have your legs exposed while sitting plan to cover them with a scarf or something because the split rides up while seated.

The cut on this dress is so classy. It hugs your hourglass curves, but remains conservative enough for even the most traditional office setting. The unique collar makes a somewhat plain dress eye catching. The fabric is rather heavy and not recommended in warmer climates. It's great for winter. It's also thick enough to skip the spanx. For sizing, I think the bottom half is cut very generously for wider hips. It's almost too big. I'm between a 12 and 10. The top fit perfectly, the bottom was a little loose.

Love this dress! The angles are flattering and unique, and the fabric is nice and thick. I'm going to have to buy this one!

I rented for a work dinner event. The blue color stood out yet remained professional in a sea of suits. The fabric is thicker with some give, the seam detail on the front create an illusion of a trim waist. I absolutely loved it, received compliments and will rent again!!

Perfect dress for appearing in court. Accessorized with pearls and flats to complete the lawyer uniform. I sized up to a 14 based on the reviews, and the waist area fit, but the top was a bit large and I kept fussing with my bra straps. While the split is not revealing and adds some room for striding, you have to sit like a lady in this one with your knees together if you don't want to put on a show.

This cobalt blue dress is more on the muted side of cobalt. Super flattering but a bit worn. A little stretch and rather high slit opening. Very comfortable.

The dress definitely runs small. I couldn't wear the size 8 which is my normal size. The size 10 fit well but the slit may have been too high for my conservative work place.

I love the accent cuts of this dress. The off center leg slit, the notches in the sleeves, the angular neckline and triangle back. The dress is interesting to look at from every side! The material is a beautiful royal blue and thick. The fit was a bit too big for me, especially in the arms and hips.

This isn't my normal style, but I thought this was a nice color and conservative enough for work. Because of all the comments on this dress, I sized up - and thank goodness I did, the dress would not have zipped up otherwise. It was a little roomier than normal under the arms and in the hip area because of it, but not to the extent that it looked bad. Got tons of compliments on it.

I felt so beautiful in this dress. I rented a size up as others suggested but it was a bit loose in the waist. I am usually a 4/6 but went up to the 8. Would probably rent again in a 6 but I'm worried it would be too tight in the hips. The slit is a bit high for work.

Wore to work. Originally ordered the 6 but it was too small in the hips but perfect for my waist. Hourglass figure. Heavier material, good for colder months.

This is a beautiful dress, but you MUST go up a size. I'm a sample size 2 tall, and I couldn't get the zipper even close above the waist. I reordered the 4 and it fit well. The dress has a very Kate Middleton-feel to it. Conservative and tailored, good for professional setting.

Thought it ran a little big in the body, but fit true to size in the shoulders.. glad I tried it- was appropriate for my meetings and nice to get out of a suit .

Tried on at home but didn't end up wearing to work. I felt a bit matronly and overly formal. Hit below my knee which was not flattering on me

I am 5'2" and while I liked the dress, I did not wear it, it was too long.

GORGEOUS dress! The collar threw me a bit but everyone loved it. It seemed a little big on me all over so I'll order a size down next time. I ordered this for work but the wool was heavier than I expected and I returned it - but will reorder it in the Fall/Winter when it's not so warm out.

I usually find this brand runs large, but this one was perfect in my usual size 10. Wore for an important meeting (which didn't go well, but I'm not blaming the dress!) and felt very "power woman". Great for hourglass figures as it had plenty of room in the butt while still being fitted in the waist. Almost bought it, but did find the slit was a tiny bit higher when sitting than I wanted.

I rented this for the opening dinner of a conference and it was fantastic! In a sea of black suits, it really stood out in a great way. Super feminine and form fitting, but still respectable. I did size up one and it was perfect.

Slit is definitely high so not ideal if you're sitting more than standing
