Passe-par-tout black dress

Great dress. Fabric is light weight enough for the summer, and not tight. It can be dressed up or down.

Looked good with a blazer at work

I've been basically living in the Leota maternity dresses from my RTR Unlimited subscription throughout this pregnancy. They are comfortable and great for work or everyday. This style wasn't my favorite of all of the Leotas, however it was professional for work and flattering. Some tighter maternity dresses cling in the wrong places and make me feel huge, this one was great.

Simple with asymmetric detail

Very easy and trapeze-like fit. I wore size M but size S would've worked.

Runs big, not as long as I expected

Wore this for work with a jacket on a day I needed to be more dressed up. It didn’t quite work as intended — the high end of the hem was an inch or two above my knee, which didn’t feel as professional as I hoped. Otherwise, it was fine: comfy and essentially shapeless, but with plenty of room to grow (currently 16w). Runs large; I expect I could wear the S through the end of pregnancy for casual wear, though it will get short.

Super underwhelming

Most basic of black dresses. Wore with a cardigan to work super pregnant. Cut and length not flattering on petite person. 156lb at delivery, would not have worn if not pregnant

Basic black dress

This was a bit boring for my taste. I expected something a more exciting from the cut, but I do find that Leota tends to be quite pedestrian and matronly in its designs. The fabric on this was also a bit rough and scratchy. It didn't make me feel special, the way so many RTR dresses do.

Not fashionable

I could not figure out a way to make this wearable. I was swimming in it and it was extremely unflattering. I think the word is matronly.

Great Staple Dress

I wore this SO many times in my third trimester. Dress it up, down, whatever. So easy. My only complaint is that it's made of some kind of man-made material, so I won't be buying it to keep.

Cute & Comfortable

This dress fits perfectly and is easy to dress up (I wore it with a structured open cardigan, booties, and a statement necklace). I am currently 23 weeks and 174 lbs and it has plenty of room to grow. I wouldn't rent it for a major function or a wedding, but for work or a birthday party it's great. I seriously loved this dress and looked into buying it. just sad I don't have a picture to post...

Perfect maternity black dress.

I enjoyed the flow of this dress. I wore it to work and it was perfect. The length is a tad long for my liking but still would recommend it. Breathable material and isn't clingy. Great maternity option.

Great simple black dress

This dress looked frumpy on the hanger, but when I tried it on, it hugged my bump in all the right places. Nice fabric and easy to dress up or down. 36 weeks

Super comfortable, stretchy dress

I wore this dress to work 6 months pregnant and really liked it. As others noted, it's larger and stretchy.

Cute!

This was a cute dress. I wore it out and for work. I could have sized down to a Small.

Great dress for everyday wear.

I rented this for work, but I ended up wearing it for a casual day at home cleaning and going to lunch with friends. I really liked that the fabric was a bit weighted, but it was still so comfortable and soft. I think it could be dressed up, but it does come off a bit casual at a glance, so plan to accessorize if you're wearing it to work. Small tiny hole in the front on the right. Didn't bother me, but I did notice it. Also this a dress that will capture any body odor, so beware!

Third trimester

Good for everyday in third trimester. I didn't size up and am glad I had the medium even at 38 weeks. Slightly "tenty" for earlier in pregnancy but worked well for third tri.

Cozy but Shapeless

I made this work with a belt and boots, but be forewarned: It is completely shapeless. I'm in my third trimester and sizing up from my pre-maternity size in most brands, but for this dress, even a size small was huge. But, if you're looking for something breezy and comfortable and not so concerned with the silhouette of your outfit, you could do worse - the material looks and feels quality, and the asymmetrical hem adds some interest.
