These jeans are adorable! They have a subtle barrel cut without going full-on barrel jean, so they feel like the more polished cousin of the trend. I own true barrel jeans and love them, but these are a perfect light-wash option that still looks put together, even with the distressed hem. Sizing was spot on with my usual Le Jean fit (which I find way more consistent than brands like AGOLDE-huge plus when renting, since once you know your size, it works across their styles). I’m 5’6” and they hit at the perfect cropped length. I’m not especially tall, and most crops (like MOTHER) end up looking like pedal pushers on me, but these fall just right. For petites, they’d hit at the ankle; for anyone taller, you’ll get that flattering bit of ankle and leg showing. And can we talk about pocket placement? Le Jean nails it. I’m straight and lean without much curve, but their pockets actually give me confidence in the back. Such a win for us shapeless girlies. Loved them so much I bought the pair… making this my second Le Jean purchase from RTR in a month!

perfect fit - considering buying

I personally love these. Being on the shorter side, the length was perfect for me. A taller gal might find these cropped. At first I thought they were a little snug, but quickly loosened/stretched out. I felt supported, yet not in any way pinched in these jeans. The high waist hit right at my belly button and the ticked seams added interest. The tuck across the knees was a little odd, as it tended to rub when bending my knees. It was a minor irritation. I wore these over and over.

These are the most comfortable jeans. I could wear them all day! Great transitional jean this fall. Length is on the shorter side. Hit right above the ankle and perfect for tennis shoes. They stretched out a bit throughout the day. Would consider a size smaller if I were to buy.

Have kept these through 3 rental cycles and just can’t send back! So comfortable and stretchy without losing shape. I cuff them once but I’m 5’2”. Great for petite with butt / thighs! Mid rise not high rise. True to size.

Like most Le Jean styles I’ve rented these stretched out some with wear. I would’ve liked them to hit just a little higher on my ankle for flats, but they’ll probably be perfect with boots. The denim is really soft and comfortable. I’m considering buying these.

Fit TTS, wore once but not drawn back for another wear. More tailored than I’ve gotten used to with barrel jeans. This more fitted version is on trend for the transition in styles we are starting to see. Think “skinny” barrel. Probably won’t rent again.

As an ultra petite person, finding denim in a wider leg silhouette that is on trend has been really challenging. The proportion of this was perfect for a petite person. And probably for anybody, for that matter. I just can only speak for myself :-) super comfy, very flattering. Loved!

Fit is true to size. I really love the style of these jeans and the material is not too stretchy and hold in shape. The darting in the front gives it a nice elevated touch.

Big booty gal here in these fit just great without stretching too much. I love the relaxed fit on the leg and I could wear them all day without giving too much. The color matched great with many outfits.

Ok - so we had our teen years in boot cut and then decades in skinny jeans and now it’s been a couple years of embracing a wider leg jean and maybe it’s been a bumpy ride. These jeans are the perfect balance of it all! I find that in this brand sizing down helps, these fit me perfectly in a 24, when in most other brands I’m a 25. I feel cool in these but not like I’m trying and on my small frame they don’t overpower me. Love them!

Easy to wear, casual but able to be dressed up a bit

This is the second pair of Le Jeans I've rented, and both have been stylish and flattering yet very comfy. These were forgiving without stretching TOO much.

Couldn’t get them to zip. I’m 5,3” 122 pounds pear shaped and I tried to wear a size 26. (It wasn’t happening)
