I rented in a small and then again in XS. Both worked fine. Preferred the XS. The knit part hit below the widest part of my hips and I didn’t have any issues with the skirt being tight there. The silk portion doesn’t stretch, but was only an issue if I had to take a really wide step or something.

After reading the reviews and pondering, I added it to my bag! I know, I know, but I LOVED the look!! Yes, the neck hole IS small - I got my puffy hair and head through it! YES, the hips are narrow with no give, but - IF you get it right, this IS a good dress!!! So I’m losing weight and I’m all over the map with sizes right now. I went with a medium knowing it might be a flop/wasted spot rental - but it worked for the day at school and I got so many compliments!! Even with hip, I definitely am curvy, I made this work for the day! It was worth the risk for me.

Love the look of the casual sweatshirt top over a the silk skirt. Warning - if you have a big head this will be almost impossible to slip over! Very small opening. Sleeves are also very long. Still fun and glad i rented!

Loved the concept and colors, but the dress itself was just okay — not a home run. It’s cozy, but the sweatshirt-like fabric hangs a little too low on my frame and feels boxy. Sleeves were long, so I had to fold the cuffs. I knew it wasn’t a winner when my boots got all the compliments during hospital rounds and no one mentioned the dress!

The xtra large fit my size 14 body.

Cute and comfortable- but the reviews mentioning the tight head hole were NOT exaggerating. Definitely get it on before you apply makeup or put in earrings!

Pencil skirt is fitted in the hips. Sweatshirt top is tailored. It is a little hard to pull on, but definitely fun to wear! I rented a large instead of my usual medium.

If this were separates, I’d be buying it. The colorway is wonderful and the fabric is top quality. Overall, it is both comfortable and chic. I just don’t like that the skirt is attached to what amounts to a sweatshirt that cannot be tucked or styled in any way. I used a skinny belt to fein a tuck, and added a brown velvet blazer. Still a win for quality, and color!

This was cool and fit really well. Only 4 of 5 stars because it's prime to static cling which makes the silk skirt really stick to all the wrong places

If you have a bigger butt size up but also arms will be too long.

The top part was too loose and long, and the neck was too high. The skirt part was too tight with no stretch. Pretty colors, though!

The quality of this was super nice. It came with tags attached. I am 5‘5“ tall, 210 pounds and couldn’t slide the skirt down over my hips.

Not sure who this suits - the sweatshirt doesn't really blouse over, and most occasions I thought of required something nice on top and casual on the bottom.

Fit as expected just uncomfortable

I'm generally a size 14 or 16 (16 in the bust) and RTR suggested that I order an XL in this style. I got it in an XXL, just in case, and it was comically small on me. It was even snug in the hips, which is not usually an issue for me. I managed to get it on and almost couldn't get it off. I thought I was going to have to cut off a $900 dress. The style itself was okay but definitely looked a bit frumpy in the brief time I had it on. If you have curves, definitely size up.

Ordered my normal size with this brand and hole for the head is too small and not for curvy girls.

So sad about this! The skirt was too narrow and had no give. Sweatshirt fit great with sleeves that were nice and long. I wish the sweatshirt detached from the skirt so I could actually wear it!
