Arrived NWT when I got it in Feb (sorry ladies) and held onto it for a black tie wedding in May. Most incredible dress and I am seriously considering buying it. It was breezy, beautiful, and you can do the worm in it. Slay rating - 10000000/10

I knew I wanted this dress when I saw the photos. I originally got it in a medium as suggested and it was enormous. About 2 sizes too big. Had to return it. Be advised this was a really hard dress to get rented. None available and no reviews which seems like they have low stock on this one as all sizes were available when I got the initial medium. Even though I have a subscription, I could only snag this in the XS as a one time rental and I managed that about 6 days before my event. As for the dress, the pattern and colors are gorgeous. One of my favorite prints I ever wore. The fabric is lightweight and airy and feels very luxurious. The draping is beautiful. I stood out at the event and felt like a movie star. The only drawback is that it’s very long. I am a size 6 (sometimes an 8 in the bottom, sometimes a 4 up top). I am by no means an XS. I am 5’6 (not short, not tall). I cannot see this dress fitting someone smaller or shorter than me. I had to carry the length all night when I was walking. It added to the drama, but I couldn’t carry food or drinks in both hands. Because it’s lightweight it didn’t feel heavy to carry. The top fit perfectly, but again I’m not an xs. I am however small up top. So probably would be tight on someone bustier if you have to size down for length and mid section. Overall I am in love with this dress and it was very flattering on me in terms of color, style, and the styling choices I paired with it. But the length could be better for easier walking and showing off the shoes. This was draped with talker model like figures in mind.

This is a sleeper hit dress. Pictures don’t do it justice. And even you, wearing it, can’t tell how good it looks. But everyone around you will be sure to let you know how amazing it is! Quality fabric really makes an enormous difference. Size down if you don’t need to hide bloat or want more support. I wore pasties and then eventually took them off. So comfortable. So chic. So elevated. And definitely different than what others will be wearing. **make sure to have dryer sheets with you or something to get rid of the very real static! Body lotion and steamers help, too!** My only downside was that my boobs were flopping all around while dancing. But I wanted a comfy, shapeless dress and I got what I wanted!

So fun for a Florida wedding! It was very shapeless, which I love personally. Really easy to wear. It was a littleeee long on me, but manageable!

Got lots of compliments on this dress at a friend’s wedding in Costa Rica! Typically small/medium (4/6) and ordered a small but could’ve gone XS as it was a lot of fabric and about 2 inches of extra fabric in the bust. Hit slightly long for 5’5 with a 3 inch heel

Wore this dress to a black tie wedding and it was beautiful. I felt so comfortable and elegant and also received so many compliments. I am 5'2" so it was very long on me, but I wore platform heels with it and it was perfect floor length gown for a formal wedding.

I received tons of compliments - one issue to be aware of is that I have a large chest and wearing a bra was awkward - the good news is there is a liner across the chest so I double folded the straps on my shapermint tank top down and the material across the chest did the rest of the support. It was not noticable and then my DD fit just fine. The bra just added too much material for a good fit.

I wore this to a warm October wedding. It was so fun and flattering and I got compliments all night! It could be right on someone bigger chested, but was fine on my Cs. I wore with platforms and it was a little long so warning to shorties like me. This was a higher price than my usual rentals here but so worth it!!

Loved this rental for a wedding that had a colorful dress code. I felt this dress accentuated my shape while also being very flowy and comfortable. I rented both the Large and the XL, and wore the large. The lining for the bust was short and might be snug for someone with a large bust (I’m 36DDD)

I wore this to a wedding that had a “Indowestern” dress code and it was such a hit!! I received so many compliments and it was so comfortable. Fit just right with a small heel (I’m 5’4) and the lightweight fabric made it perfect for an outdoor August wedding in NYC.

The fabric, the style, the pattern are all showstoppers. Warning this is a very long dress though and runs huge. Would have liked another size down

I wore this to a black tie wedding at 38 weeks pregnant, and LOVED it. The pattern is amazing — I got so many compliments all night! I wore the Medium, so I’d say it is very oversized. I am typically a M pre-pregnancy. I’d recommend sizing down!

The fabric for this dress is amazing. The print is beautiful. It is light weight and flows. I am an eight and I ordered the medium and the large. The medium fit perfectly and probably could have gotten by with a small. Obviously the style hides any curves. I wore it with black wedges and pink earrings. I love it and would rent again.

I think RTR only has like a single stock of each size in this cause like someone else said, it’s never available. I got lucky and my size up was available and it was fine, worth it for how beautiful it is. Like truly stunning. I’ve never wanted to buy a gown more and honestly might have as an investment if it was my correct size (M). The back is slightly longer than the front and it’s 100% silk. Had some issues with static at first but weirdly good full body moisturizer lotion actually solved it. It has a half bra liner so I didn’t wear a bra at all. Seriously rent this if you can!

I tried to rent the small but couldn't get it so I made the medium work. It's gorgeous silk material and so easy to wear all night. Loved it!

Gorgeous beautiful dress. I made it work but wish I got a size down. I taped it in place and wore my highest heels. It needed a belt to control the swish but was perfect for a Miami formal wedding.

I reserved the XL and L for a wedding; the XL didn’t arrive but fortunately the L fit just right (I’m usually an XL). I wore it with a black blazer, which was perfect for a fall wedding and keeping me a little more covered up. I would definitely recommend reserving for special events *and* sizing down.

I ordered this for an event that was postponed so I didn’t get to wear it. I ordered the large because smaller sizes weren’t available. It wasn’t a bad fit but I could have used a medium. I seriously would like to purchase this dress.

Recommend!!! The movement of this dress was gorgeous and the print was amazing. It was comfy and beautiful at the same time. And it had pockets! At 5’7”, I definitely needed heels but only about 2 inches. Could have gone higher but not lower. Small fit just right. In M, I would have been swimming, and XS would have been too tight across the chest I think (although fine everywhere else).

The dress was great. The only issue for me was the bra liner. If you are big busted, this may not fit right (40 DD). Large fit great but went with the XL for this reason and even then it would ride up occasionally. Other than that, the dress was beautiful.

i've been obsessed with this dress on the la double J site...so i was ecstatic to find it on RTR!! if you too have been eyeing it and praying for it to go on sale...know the one here does not come with the sash (i'd been planning to use it as an arm accessory, but not a huge deal). this dress is even dreamier in person than i imagined. it's feather light, sooo sophisticated on and the pockets are a nice lil bonus. i'm almost 5'9 and it still hit the floor even with heels on, so short girlies beware!

Dress is super light, such an easy wear with a regular ol strapless bra and go. Majorly forgiving, La DoubleJ never misses.
