This dress made the absolute perfect rental. Do I need to own a sequined LaDoubleJ dress? No. Was is perfect for night out and the theatre? Absolutely. It’s swingy and roomy but designed that way. The sequins gave a fun shine but not gaudy. Wore with tights and booties. Didn’t get full pic but here you can see the cute pattern and tones. If you don’t love a high neck though, skip because it does lay close to the neck.

Used this dress for my birthday bash, and people loved it , pretty comfortable, I’m 5’3 112 lb and and XS was pretty good

Pros - love the print and the style. I got more compliments in this dress than any other from RTR. Cons - This dress is very short. I have a very long torso, and should have worn a small. I definitely couldn't raise my arms above my head without my underwear showing. Definitely wouldn't want to dance in it. If you size up you'll probably be ok!

I wore the medium, the large ran too big overall. It’s not heavy or thick so comfortable for multiple seasons. I got so many compliments and didn’t need any shape wear. I wore this to a Nov wedding in Vegas and concert in January styled with a faux fur coat.

Didn’t even have anything special to wear this to so just wore in a Saturday night out. So many compliments. And the most comfortable sequins ever. Fun rental.

Great dress! Just as modeled. I wanted something roomier being 12 weeks pregnant. Was great for a cold weather wedding in Colorado. I wore with tights due to the weather and the Fifteen Twenty Short Faux Fur Jacket. Recommend!

I liked this dress but it wasn’t particularly flattering on me. It’s boxy but in the style of a 60’s dress. Wore it to Beatles Love show in Vegas so it was on theme! Comfortable and well made.

Really wanted to like this, but it definitely runs big and the fit is very strange. Not flattering at all.

This dress looked adorable online but the fit was too boxy / oversized. I am usually a small or medium but the small was way to large on me. The fit was wide and formless. It looked like a beautiful but unflattering maternity dress. I wish I had gotten the XS. My recommendation is to size 1 - 2 sizes smaller than you typically wear.

I received compliments all night. Cinched it with a belt because otherwise felt like it would fit like I bag. I ordered size 8 because I wanted to make sure it wasn't tight on the hips,but now realize I could've worn a size 6. Has a back zipper which may require assistance when putting on but besides that it's easy to wear-- not itchy either.

I was iffy on this rental, but I loved it! The lining seemed to bunch in the hem, otherwise lightweight and comfortable. No complaints!

This is a LOOSE drapy short fit. I'm not tall and the dress hit several inches above the knee. At first I didn't love it, but I ended up wearing it twice. First to a ladies lunch and then to a birthday dinner. Received lots of compliments from friends and strangers. The print and sequins are FUN.

Needed an outfit for a them party and this fit the bill. Not super flattering, but might have looked better without tights (felt too short on me to go without!). Looks a bit like sequins but it’s really more of a shimmer fabric - doesn’t feel quite as luxe as other items I’ve rented.

Wore with over the knee Free People boots and vintage fringed suede jacket. It's a very sparkly dress but in all the right ways. Not obnoxious, somehow subtle and "wow" at the same time. Wore to an evening event and the lighting was just perfect. Flattering and comfortable. No spanx needed!

I stalked this dress from the moment I laid eyes on it. I wanted it to be perfect and it was so close but a sequined Badgley Mischka suit one my favor. Fit was great in an XL, pretty short but with black tights it worked. Will rent another time.

A stunner. Easy to wear. Love the pockets. I wore it with tights, boots, a belt, and a top knot. With my styling had it looking very chic 60s.

Was kind of on the fence about this one. The hem is a little saggy and the fit is wide but I received SO many compliments on this dress and it was fun to wear.

Cute, comfortable and has pockets but I didn’t wear it because it was a little too much bling for me.

So much shinier in real life. Also hung weird — the sleeves and the hem both folded in. Disappointed.

The print is beautiful and the dress is incredibly comfortable though overall lacking in the wow factor. It’s certainly an intentionally baggy fit so keep that in mind when ordering - if you want a tighter fit consider sizing down.

The pattern is really cute on this dress but the pockets hit a weird spot on me. I’m not a fan of pockets in dresses though so that might not bother most women. It is lightweight and not itchy at all.

Material is gorgeous, but the cut is like a dowdy muumuu. Very boxy and shapeless so if you're pregnant (like I am) it just makes you look extra fat.

Beautiful pattern but it’s tight in the chest and arms and shapeless in the middle. My husband said it looked like a maternity dress. Ordering up would not have looked better. Consider this dress if you’re pregnant.

I gambled on a size medium (against my better judgement) b/c usually I wear small but so times with LaDoublej the cut is inconsistent. This shift is one of them. Size down instead of up! Also - the sequins are A LOT! Sequins on a pattern are not great for any size - I'm thinking only a tiny flat frame could pull this one off. Don't have a picture b/c I couldn't get the dress off fast enough.

I had high hopes, but this was incredibly unflattering in person and did not look like the photo on the model.
