Fit like a glove. Would rent again

Loved this dress! Had no concerns about it falling down and did not have to “tug” on it. Received many many compliments on it! I would totally rent this dress again!! Would love to see it in other colors

This was the best pic showing details of the gown. Love love loved it! It would slip down my shoulders (like in pic) but I figured out I just had to lift both arms occasionally and it would come up perfectly. Felt like I was in my pajamas it was so comfortable! I have long legs and the Long size was perfect.

Ultimate class this dress. Thick, heavy velvet was perfect for a chilly, fall night for a black tie event. Fit like a glove. So comfortable, too, flexible give. Neckline was stunning and different from everyone else.

The photo doesn't do justice to the beautiful, rich, velvet material. I wore the dress for a black to gala and stole the night away with compliments. It has an old Hollywood sophistication to it. The material has a lot of stretch, is very thick, and works like a spanx, so size 10 worked even though I'm usually 14. The length of the 46R was perfect for me. It's warm enough to not need a shall on A/C. The shoulders stayed in place. I would wear this dress every day if I could!

Felt like a million bucks in this! Thick stretchy fabric so no spanx needed. So many compliments, easy to sit & dance in, and the ruffles hid any evidence of a food baby. Wish I could afford to keep it. Will definitely rent again

As a person who is perpetually cold in theaters of any kind, this dress was perfect! I wore a strapless push up bra, no spanx needed but definitely a high heel if you’re under 5’4”. The dress cinches you in beautifully and plays up even the tiniest of busts (but tastefully)! I have a bit of a mom tummy and the ruching did a great job of hiding that. I will say because of the fitted full length skirt it did make climbing stairs a tad difficult but I was in no hurry!

I loved this dress and will definitely rent it again. It has the perfect balance of stretch and hold - it’s like wearing Spanx but gives where you need it to in order to put it on. Definitely step IN to it - the mermaid cut bottom is challenging to get over shoulders. I loved not needing a wrap to stay warm - that said, if you’ll be dancing a lot, this may be too hot for that.

Oh my, LADIES! You will ROCK this dress!!! I’m pretty sure that every body type would look amazing in it. The neckline is soooo flattering, but still high enough that I felt secure. The ruching around on the stomach is incredibly slimming, and the draping gives the most beautiful silhouette. It’s a bit of an adventure to get on, since the dress is pretty form-fitting and doesn’t have a zipper. That said, it is snug, warm, and everything you could need for a winter event! I was so sad to give it back…sigh.

This dress was stunning! Very rich and classy looking. The material is heavy but was great at 22 degree Fahrenheit temperatures. I thought about purchasing and having as part of my wardrobe:). I’m 5’7, 140 lbs, 36D.

Everything about this dress was perfect. The material not too heavy. And fine for big chest. I was worried as my boobs have a hard time looking flattering in most dresses. It covera them fine, I didn't even need a bra. I wore for a work event. And I'm not a big fan of my shoulder area, but it made me look great. It was a perfect dress

This dress is amazing! Snug enough to feel supported and curvy without being restricted. The neckline is flattering as well. I absolutely loved wearing this dress to a wedding in Paris. After a year of chemo and cancer this dress made me feel confident and glamorous! Loved it!!!

Beautiful fit. Lots of stretch, I could have sized down but that didn't stop the flawless and regal construction of the dress from shinning. I felt very celebrity-ish all night long. Can't wait for another gala to rent another beauty from RTR

I wish the tall/long version had been available, the regular length was short for me, but worked for what I needed it for.

Curvy girls rejoice! This dress blew me away. It is stretchy, thick velvet fabric that was perfect for a winter wedding in the south. It is a little tough to get on because it doesn't have a zipper--it has to go on over your head. I got SO many compliments on this dress and felt so fabulous! It's excellent for hourglass shapes/larger busts/larger arms. I would buy this dress if I could!

I couldn’t wait to wear this dress! Material is very flattering especially for the tummy. Shoulders stayed in place well even with dancing. Bonus that I could wear a normal bra for support and lift and just pull the straps down a bit. With heels I definitely needed the long and it could have been even a little longer. I loved the long sleeves for a winter wedding. Wish I would have taken more pictures. I will rent again if the event arises.

We went to an outdoor wedding and when the temperature dropped at night I was warm, cozy and stylish. Everyone, even people I didn't know, complimented the dress.

I rented this dress originally as part of my Halloween Costume, my family and I were the Addams family and I was Morticia. I did not feel the need to spend an extra $50-60 on a costume when I could rent something warmer, more fabulous and better quality with my membership with RTR Honestly...this dress is gorgeous! It fit like a glove and even gave an extra lift and sucked me in. I would wear to a wedding or gala whenever those start happening again. I will definitely be renting this again

I haven't worn a formal dress in 15 years and to say I was nervous was an understatement. The dress fits like a glove without a lot of difference between sizes. What I love most is how it hugs all of my curves and how thick the velvet is. There are no zippers, buttons, or closures affecting the fit which I love. I wear a 14 and a 40 DD and felt very comfortable. My husband absolutely loved it and I received a lot of compliments.

This dress was by far the most beautiful dress I've ever worn. Extremely comfortable, stretchy enough but not baggy. No zipper, just glides right on! Hugged all the right areas, so definitely recommend this dress if you have hips and made my a$$ look incredible lol The velvet material of the dress was incredible and just made the whole dress! I'm 5'6 and wore the 40R, with a 2 in heel and dress just hit the perfect length. Received compliments the whole night!

I love this dress so much! I wore it on NYE but it's definitely more a fancy gala or black tie wedding kind of dress. I had to wear it though because I felt amazing in it! The velvet was so soft and it stretched nicely while hugging and holding my body. I even borrowed my niece's Elphaba hat and had my own Elphy moment in this gown. If it's available in your size, RENT IT!

So comfortable, so flattering, i loved everything about this dress. I could have worn a size down but opted for the larger because there was very little difference in anything but the length and i wanted to wear heels. Received so many compliments, and despite hugging your curves it had enough stretch to move easily. 10/10

Absolutely perfect, classic gown. It's the perfect balance of flattering and classy. Hugs in all the right places but is also super stretchy and comfy. If you're between sizes, I recommend sizing down. This dress is very forgiving. I will rent this dress again and again!

This dress is so flattering and very warm. It was perfect for an outdoor winter wedding. If you’re going to be indoors and dancing, you may get overly warm. The dress is very stretchy and thick, I’d size based on your chest/shoulders as that’s the most limiting. There’s no zipper, so the waist will need to fit over your shoulders, but it is very stretchy. I rented the 40 and the 38 and they were honestly hard to tell apart size wise, but the 38 fit a bit nicer in the chest (I’m pear shaped with narrow shoulders and a small rib cage). There’s no support, so you’ll likely want a strapless or off the shoulder bra. Length wise, this was perfect floor length on me in 2inch heels at 5ft 2, so if you’re tall it may end up ankle length.

I needed a warm, flattering dress for a black-tie wedding, and this one was absolute perfection. The material is structured yet stretchy, and it hugged me in all the right places. The cut and length were perfect — I can’t say enough great things about this dress. It can be worn with or without Spanx and is ideal for a fall or winter formal event.

I wore this to a black tie wedding. It was amazing. I got so many compliments. I was a little nervous since the 6 was unavailable. Shouldn't have been. The 4 fit great. It was tight but in a good way. Very comfortable. Held everything in. Didn't need spanx at all. This probably is not the dress for those with bigger busts but for those of us in the IBTC it was fabulous. Would love to have an event to rent it again.

Heavy gorgeous dress perfect for a winter formal event. The sleeves did slide down exposing the lining throughout the night - even with fashion tape. But the overall effect was great and the dress was comfortable.
