Fit is perfect for hourglass. Definitely needed the long. Cannot wear a bra and pasties will show through material. FYI- material is a bit stretchy so it’s fairly comfortable.

This is not a red color. Is more like a fuscia/dark . People complimented me. I wore size 8. I was happy to go from size 12 to 8. Thank you to RaR for throwing an extra size. I will rent again.

Highly recommend! This was my first time using RTR, and this dress did not disappoint. Like the reviews said, the material is a little thicker which was perfect. The color is a beautiful deep red. Received so many compliments! Only thing I would note - i am 5’10 and ordered the “Long” size and I wish it was a bit longer at the bottom. It was still a few inches off the floor and my feet were showing. I also would recommend getting a low-back strapless bra if you need some support for the ladies. But otherwise, FANTASTIC dress and I would recommend ordering for anyone.

Wore this dress for a black tie optional wedding. Received so many compliments on the gown. It fits so comfortably. Fits close to body and does show lines so will need to wear undergarments that don't show lines. Of note their is a lining on the inside of the dress that comes down only to about belly button height. I noticed it because I had read a review that pointed it out. However no one else noticed. Would recommend this dress.

The 44R was a little loose but the 42R had been unavailable. I wore with 3 inch heels and it was a great length. I loved the thick material and would definitely rent again!

Attended a gala fundraiser during the holidays. Normally I wear 42R but this was a little too long in the torso for me. I made it work, tho. Wish I took a photo of the back. It made the dress unique amongst all the other red, off the shoulder, asymmetrical neckline gowns. The cut of this gown, with the slight flare at the hemline made me stand out on the dance floor. You can't wear a strapless bra, so I wore those stick-on cups. For reference, I'm 5'2", 124 lbs.

I ordered one size up from normal (US 8, usually US 6) and had a little extra room up top, but nothing that looked terrible. I wore a stick-on, strapless bra to fill it out. Some pulling around the bump as expected, but again, didn't look terrible since I was obviously pregnant. The length was perfect with the bump, so I can definitely see how it would be quite long otherwise. If you're having a tough time finding a dress to wear close to term, this is an easy option!

As a seven month pregnant woman, I had serious doubts this gown was going to work for my black tie wedding. The fabric is sooo stretchy and forgiving, but also incredibly form fitting and flattering. The color is stunning too. I received so many compliments all evening. Strongly recommend for those second and third trimester moms to be with ZERO clue and anxiety on what to wear for a formal affair!

Stunning! I am very small chested but the top was perfect for me with room for more but it was not sagging. I am wider at my hips size 4 or 6 in pants plenty of room at my hips. I was surprised there was no zipper and you have to pull it on (I was worried I would stretch it out but it didn't). The material is thick but not heavy. The petite was the perfect length for me. It didn't quite touch the ground and I wore 3" heels with no issue. I got so many complements all night. 100/10 this dress!

The dress fit so well and is made of a heavier stretchy fabric. When it arrived, I simply steamed the wrinkles out of the skirt and it draped nicely. It was so comfortable to wear and the color is amazing. I weigh 160 lbs and measure a 34DD. My hips are 42" and waist 30". The 44L was a perfect fit.

The dress is made in Italy and it shows in the quality. The material is nice and thick to smooth out and hug your figure in the most flattering places. I wore the dress in August for a Black Tie Wedding but could be very nice for a fall/holiday wedding or event. The bow is subtle and the color is between a red and a raspberry shade. Rent the Runway's customer service was also INCREDIBLE and came to the rescue to overnight me this dress to arrive 1 hour before the wedding since the original dress I rented was too revealing. The 40L was a tad long (I am 5'4") but it was what was in stock and it worked fine - but would recommend a regular length if 5'4". This is a very reliable, classy dress for a formal event, I received endless compliments and felt beautiful and confident all night!

Wore this to a debutante ball. So comfortable to wear. Color is luxurious and easy to walk, dance and relax in. You can't wear a bra bc of the open back but the material is thick quality so it works without one. i rented the 40R and 40L and am 5'9" and it was perfect with 3" heels.

This was a easy to wear, tall girl friendly gown. I'm 5'10 and the dress was long enough for me. I think one inch longer would have been perfect. The dress was stunning and very stretchy.

I rented the 44R first and it fit but felt like it was bulky with a lot of extra fabric. I swapped it for the 42R and that fit like a glove. The fabric is very thick and flattering. Length was perfect for me (5'4") with tall heels. The back is absolutely stunning and I loved wearing it. This designer does not miss!!!

This dress is. A beautiful raspberry color. It's classy with fun elements like this cutout back. Don't be fooled by my fiancé's face! He loved the dress too, just isn't as big of a fan of my antics. I'm 5'7 and wore 3 inch heels. The dress wasn't too short but I wish I had it in the Long length.

LOVE! I'm 5'8", 140 lbs, 36D, size 2 or 4. The size 42 was perfect! Wore 2.5" heels and the length was just right. The ONLY negative was the lining in the upper part of dress kept rolling up at my waist, so I was frequently smoothing it down. On the other hand, the lining really held my bust and I was able to go braless and only wear nipple pasties. This dress has no zippers, but I was able to easily step into it and shimmy it up. Thick fabric conceals lumps and bumps. LOVED THIS DRESS!!!

This dress was gorgeous! It is very tight (you can't wear underwear or shapewear with it- I did wear petals to give me some extra coverage up top). However, the material is great and helps "hold everything together" so that it is flattering. I got many many compliments the night on the dress and would definitely recommend it. The only thing I would say is that it did seem to run a bit short. I am 5'4" and my feet were a bit visible with 3" heels...just something to note if you are taller.

This material is very clingy, and there is a lining at the bust area that stops around the belly button that shows through the dress, which honestly was the only downside for me. It will show every lump and bump, so invest in some quality shape wear if that bothers you. I love how this hugged my curves, and it was actually very comfortable as well. I got a ton of compliments!

This dress is very pretty. It has no zippers and very stretchy. The fabric is thick and it is almost like wearing Spanx. The biggest issue I have is the length. I am 5',9 and I ordered a long dress. I expected it to hit the floor but from the picture you can see that it doesn't. I could have used another 2-3 inches.

I'm happy to say I've lost some weight recently, but even the smaller just in case size was pretty big on me. Luckily I wore it for my fancy at home NYE party so it still worked. LOVED the cut of the dress, super sexy, great color!

The material is thick and stretchy, a good combination. This is the first time I wore a more body hugging dress and not A-line and I'm happy I did. But I found it hard to keep the material flat with no bunching, as you can see in the picture. There's also extra fabric over the bust area, but the hem of that piece didn't lie flat so you could see it.

I rented this for my 40th birthday dinner party. This dress is a showstopper! Perfect for petite sizes and the cut out in the back is beautiful. One drawback: there are no zippers. Dress has to go over your head. It is snug in all the right places. Wear a NuBra with this dress (available at Nordstrom) I got compliments all night. Rent this dress. You will not be disappointed.
