Wore the 6, could probably have gone with a 4. Great dress, loved it for a formal affair. Fabric is thicker, so not for a summer event. Will probably rent this one again!

I ordered two dresses and chose this. I am 5’9” and am wearing a 10R. I wish I ordered a 12 so I could have compared the fit. I received a lot of compliments and felt really good in it. One thing is that it was a tad difficult to walk in. It was a mermaid type bottom which again makes me wonder about the size up. The dress stretches so once you get the hang of walking you do not look or feel awkward. I was fine with the length. I did not need a bra because there are cups/pads and the dress is form fitting. Glad I chose it. Note I am a 10 or 12 depending on the clothing.

Write this to my son’s wedding. The fabric was very flattering and it was conservative without being matronly. Received compliments all night. I ended up wearing the size 2R.

I got many compliments on this dress, it was a bit on the conservative side which is what I wanted for a work gala. This would be a great mother of the bride/groom dress too. This fit great, the material was comfortable, and the construction of the dress was very good. It's truly a full length dress so I had to wear heels (I'm 5'3").

This fit true to size and accommodates a large bust. Very flattering and I was able to dance all night. Best part is I’m 5’3” and I could have worn flats if I wanted to! It was tea length and I did wear 2” heels which looked nice.

This was a little on the tight side and I would have been more comfortable in size 2 but I liked the way the 0 fit. I am small chested and tend to have a pencil shape. This dress was great for me to feel like I had a more curved figure. I am also self conscious about my stomach since having 2 children. This dress gave the illusion of a flat belly. I could have gotten away with flats but heels were a nice touch. The dress really felt made for my figure.

Fabric thick enough that it doesn't show every lump or bump and shapewear is optional.

I love the lines on this dress. Didn't love the fabric which was like neoprene weight and feel. Cheapens the look.

This was a phenomenal dress — I ordered a size 8 (usually a size 9-10) due to availability and was afraid that I’d be skipping dinner, but the dress had just enough stretch to fit comfortably. It looked perfect on and suited a formal charity gala.

Fit like a glove, classy ribbon-like draping along one side. Need a strapless bra as the neckline is truly out by the far shoulder. I wore as mother of the bride and received lots of complements.

The material is stretchy so its very comfortable when sitting or dancing. It is lined, so no need for a bra.

The dress is stunning, not for 5’2” and under. I’d say it runs large. Zipper up on the side. Need to be busty to fill out the top.

I’m a short gal (5’1”) but the length was perfect. Fabric was thick enough to not keep a flawless silhouette. Walking gait was a bit limited but dang I looked good!

This was fitted around my hips ( I am bit pear-shaped- 5'7" 165 lbs), however the fabric is forgiving and it was very comfortable!

I rented two dresses from RTR for a black tie wedding I couldn't decide which one I wanted. This dress is beautiful however it was a little thicker than I expected. it was for a wedding and I was concerned that being September the weather is fickle and I was worried I would be too hot in this dress. The sleeves are a type of sheer material the dress itself shows no blemishes lol it really was beautiful, and it's narrow so it keeps your strides short. I definitely would have worn this dress if the weather was cooler. I would have worn the four.

Dress was fantastic! Very flattering and looks better on! Elegant and I was able to dance the night away! Was long for 5'4" but not "trippy" long and allowed me to wear flats.

The dress fit very well and was a beautiful material that did not wrinkle and looked fresh the entire day. I would highly recommend it.

I wore to a wedding and felt beautiful in this dress. The fabric is forgiving and it provided all the right coverage but still looked a little sexy without feeling exposed. I ordered the 10 and 12 but wore the 10 as I have lost some weight. Would definitely order again!

It was a perfect dress for the Gala I went to. It was formal but comfortable too. I love the little flourish on the side! I wore it with gold shoes and a gold bag.

In order for this dress to look good it must be fitted. I tried 2 sizes, 4 and 6 they both fit similar. One had a little more give so ( could put it on but both were nearly impossible to take off with some help without help impossible. It looked great but I was going to a wedding and spending the night at a hotel. There would be no one to help me take it off. It did look phenomenal though.

No complaints at all. This is a gorgeous dress. The pictures do it justice. Fits perfectly (true to size) and is stunning. It could work well as a mother-of-the-bride dress or in a gala setting. I decided to go with a different selection because I wanted something a bit more stylish but no complaints at all about this dress.

This dress is made of a heavier than expected material. However, it is well constructed and drapes beautifully. I wore a strapless bra to avoid exposed bra straps pulling at the dress shoulders. This dress does have a narrow hemline-requiring a smaller step length...but hey, makes you slow down and enjoy the evening.

This gown is formal and sophisticated, styled for an older woman (which I am) but I couldn't wear the 4 as it was much too tight (and I weigh 122).
