Ok first with the fit. Size down. The size 8 was roomy on me and straps were a bit long even though I have a large chest so my bra was showing in various positions. The dress itself is a great shape with the flattering square neckline and it has sequins that make it sparkle that I didn’t notice in the photo. Paired with a l’agence blazer for work and then straight to a dinner

I thought it fit well, not too tight, not too loose. Paired it with a white oxford and used a hair clip as a bow tie. It is heavy and glittery so just beware. I would have bought it for a better price.

The dress is a bit heavy and slightly itchy, but the quality is good overall. It looks well made and durable, just not the most comfortable for long wear.

I spent a lot of time trying to make this work but you basically can’t wear a bra because the top is cut stupidly. The straps are absurd and not adjustable. I think you need giant boobs to pull this off and maybe still not great. Surprised and sad because again I loooooove this brand.

Wore to a Christmas party and received lots of compliments. TTS but chest is low cut and my bra kept showing.

I loved this dress though it was way too big on me. I don’t think sizing down would have worked as the waist was small. I have DD’s and the fabric hung loose so you could see down my dress. It was too long for my height and looked a bit overpowering on me. If someone were taller I would say try it. The material and tailoring are beautiful but I wouldn’t buy because the sequins are itchy and abrasive mostly under the armpits. The rest has lining. If it’s for a couple hours, it’s doable

Wore this for NYE. Loved the style overall, but the straps were too long and made the chest gap needed a blazer over it for modesty. Also material is a bit scratchy as stated in other reviews

If you're trying to hide a tummy bulge, etc, this could work nicely, but if you're looking for something that fits cleanly and shows a feminine line, this isn't it.

Didn't fit me well, also I thought it was just tweed but it had sequins which for me were scratchy. I wish it looked on me as it did on the model but oh well.

Fit is nice, fabric is great. Wish it had a more versatile neckline. The thin straps and extra low neckline give the dress a real “how did this pattern make it to production” vibe.

I ordered a 12, based on previous experience with this brand. It gigantic. Very odd. Don't recommend

The dress is pretty but then you put it on and realize there is a zero chance you could wear it, it's unbelievably scratchy and painful. It does also make stomach appear much larger due to placement of pockets

Didn’t end up wearing since the chest area was too way large for me, low and gapping (34B/32C). Probably would have been too small in hips to size down. Otherwise, it’s cute and fairly good quality.

The dress fits great, although the straps are a little long, but I did not realize that this dress has sequins and sparkle all over it. Even though it’s tweed, you really can’t wear this to work with all of the sequins and embellishments. I tried it on and put it right back in the garment bag to send back.
